Following the Nomad High Command's orders after the several battles in the Port Fire Control Module against the vile Shasvastii, on the Xenofarm Gamma against a surprinigly agressive VIRD detachment and in Darpan's Max-Sec Vault Maj. Hademar was still bound to the hospital bed. Nevertheless since Wolffi was back a new force could be mustered that should be more as able to defend the Port Rail cannon.
Upon arrival in said location the Bakunians ran into an ISS detachment which at first felt odd but then again Yu Jing and Nomads were part of an alliance so this bunch of secret agents must have gotten High Command's permission to search for and inspect their beloved Durian fruits. Then suddenly the bangs of heavy gun shots echoed through the module...
The shots came from a pumped-up HMG weilding Dakini... how in all seven hells was it possible that any Aleph thing can set it's appendices on Nomad territory did the High Command sleep on that issue?? ... who wasn't able to hit anything at all. Thanks to that the Moderator Sniper had no difficulties ending the wretched Remote's maintenance cycle once and for all. This again led to more aggression against Nomads personnel; first in form of covering the theatre with smoke against the sniper's oversight; second by a Kuang Shi lead series of attacks against Bran do Castro who got eventually burned down by Xi Chuan on the right flank. On the left flank covered by another smoke grenade Adil Mehmut scored himself a wound by attacking the Spitfire Riot Grrl after he had failed to hit a dodging Pupnik whilst the Hsien, by using the smoke to his advantage and by disclosing his leading role in the ISS' chain of command, failed to wound the Sin-Eater twice. The Sophotect... they brought a plastic puppet too, WTSH?! ... sprinted towards Adil and back and healed him, and assumingly she felt safe behind the smoke.
'... have a zero tolerance policy regrding those constructs, I don't care the slightest about keeping evidence and yadda yadda. Get me their commanding officers and those Aleph clunkers off the station!' Maj. Hademar bustered on the Moderator Lieutenant's comms channel whilst the Überfallkommando and the Morlock stormed towards the ISS' emplacements, unhindered, fter the smoke cleared. The Sniper got his orders thus the whole Fireteam advanced towards the theatre's center. When getting the rather surprised into his sight shots were fired and her multi-gifted artificial existence came to an end. Shortly after the scene was cleared from the Yu Jing defense turret by the joint efforts of the Sin-Eater and the Morlock the Sniper was able to reieve a poor Kuang Shi from his perpetual suffering as well. This helped W.A. Wollf to advandce even further. But first the Überfallkommando ived up to its name by heading towards Adil's position. Covered by their Eclipse Smoke the Pack charged into him and despite thwarting their initial attack his life ended seconds after whilst one Pupnik got shot by the remaining Dakini.
Adil's demise was followed by Wolff's suicidal attack on the Hsien and Xi Chuan. The Hsien's armour couldn't withstand the Multi Rifle's AP rounds and Xi was rendered unconcious as well. Nevertheless Xi's flamethrower, Sforza's heavy pistol and the an other Kuang Shi's pistol took their toll on Wolff's health and he fell unconcious as well.
Still Bakunin's forces were able to keep the upper hand in this theatre.
"...upon seeing their entire command structure and sole support of medical and technical support crumble like old biscuits the remaining troopers followed their common sense ceased any attempts to further advance (as in: Guan Yu was in LOL, had no heavy weapons and didn't see any chace to turn the game around to his favour. Thus we ended the game after this turn). They almost kept their discipline whilst leaving the Port Battery, only the Celestial Guard Monitor helped himself relieving his anger by bashing the remaining Dakini's circuits out of it's motherbord with a wrench he aquired from the Sophotect's corpse. Which was rather amusing to watch." Maj. Hademar noted whilst seeing several smirks arise within the brefing room's small audience. "But I digress. Whilst the Port and the Starboard Batteries might be secure the situation in the Bow Section is indeed dreadful. If we're not able to get this section back under any human control - and bluntly spoken the ICAF, this stands for 'I Can't Actually Fight', is no help at all - we should partly follow Corregidor's beggings. Let's blast the Bow seciton off the Raveneye and kick out of the orbit. Corregidor's EVAders would be happy to plant their D-Charges and finally do something useful.
I suggest we call this undertaking Operation:
