Durgama Takeover

Fresh from the academy, commander Zachman599 (Zach) was tasked with defending Zebu Research Station in accordance from O-12 high command. Fearing an impending Nomad assault, he deployed a Starmada defense force, led by Hector himself. Expecting this assault, Zach chose to cede the initiative to the Nomads in exchange for causing the Nomads to fight on his terms.
The Nomads took the opportunity to advance aggressively across the Battlefield, setting themselves up defensively with hackers in the facility proper and picking off the defensive Kappa Sniper and poor Warcor that sought to guard the advance. With the aid of smoke cover from the Varangian Guard, Hector and his fireteam first drove the Szalamandra off into cover then advanced into the facility, picking off Pi-Well and Jazz before the Nomads overwhelmed his position and the surviving O-12 forces were forced to withdraw from combat.
In the end the Nomads won the day, though a Cyberghost was able to retrieve some data from one of the Nomads’ TAGs before their retreat.
