Durgama Takeover

Story:
After his successful mission to rid the Camilard Outpost of the monkey infestation and secure it for the State Empire, Dàoyìng operator Cho Li Fun was stationed there directly with his intervention force.
One morning he was awakened by an energetic knock on his door. He groggily got up and opened the door.
He immediately assumed his posture and saluted.
At his door stood Commander Weng and a Nomad Nation Liasion Officer. “Operator please put some clothes on and come to the briefing room. You have five minutes.” The Nomad grinned maliciously as he saw Cho standing in front of him in his pants and tennis socks, sensing his confusion.
Briefing room 4 minutes later.
“Operator, may I introduce Commander Ney of the Nomad Nation. Bakunin task force. As you may know by now, our two (here the Commander cleared his throat) “nations” have common interests.
For this reason, your task force was selected to complete a training mission together with the Bakunin task force.
The mission is to secure and hold the armoury here in the outpost. To make it look real, only rubber bullets and paint cartridges will be issued. The whole thing starts today at 0900. Do you have any questions?
No?! Shake hands now, please, and I’ll see you on the training field.” The nomad twisted his mouth into a wry grin, exposing some pretty bad teeth. Cram, NovaCoke or whatever drugs this man stuffed into himself had probably done this to him.
“Let the games begin.” the nomad grinned, spat in his hand and held it out to Chon. Cho saluted the commander, spat into his hand and shook the nomad’s. Okay, this is going to be fun, Cho thought to himself.
Camilard Outpost Traininggrounds 0900.
Cho looked at his map in frustration and was angry with himself.
The Nomads had already positioned themselves ideally before the training battle was to begin. Hastily, he ordered his task force, consisting mainly of light troops and a few drones, onto the field to meet the Nomads’ onslaught. He still had one ace up his sleeve, Specialist Trooper Xi from the 3rd Liù Xíng Airborne Brigade. But he would wait until the very end before deploying it. Cho cursed a lot when he saw what these Nomads were throwing at him. Completely crazy punk women in brightly painted heavy armour. Drones, a taskmaster and so on.
He was not really prepared for that. But that’s how it is and you have to work with what you have.
Suddenly a siren sounded and the game began. Cho gritted his teeth and ordered the attack.

Tzweene and I met again to play a campaign mission. This time it was up to me to choose the mission and the location.
Of course we went to the Pano Outpost. 🙂
Originally I expected corregidor but Tzweene surprised me with his Bakunin. Accordingly, it took me a long time to set up.
The game was mega cool. Even though the result was pretty clear, the game wasn’t at all.
He won the Ltd. toss and decided to start. Which I think was his biggest and only mistake in the game. If I had had to start, he would have won the game for sure. So I could put everything I had in flaming spears and bazookas into the Aro. And in fact I was able to hit him right from the start. Thanks to the unlimited number of these weapons, it was really nasty.
The game was undulating. With some very funny and fantastic situations.
My MVP was definitely the Mowang. It really rocked and my monstrucker, which set up my Lu Duan and Rui Shi every time.
Tzweene MVP from my point of view was his Riotgrrl with the Boarding Shotgun.
This lady either tanked everything or dodged everything I threw at her. In the end I had no other choice but to shoot the lady cowardly from behind with my Mowang. 🙂
I won 10:1 but the game didn’t feel like that. With all my cheap units, I really had problems scoring in space.
