ForCo won the roll off and chose deployment, White Banner to deploy first.

The 23rd Banner (WB) was deployed to destroy one of the control modules for the blastdoors to the Camillard reliquary, in an attempt to open the way for the main YuJing forces backdoor assault on some remaining pockets of PanO resistance within the reliquary itself. In a ruse Foreign Company was deployed after some back room pressure by Pan Oceanian high command to present a positive picture of the defense of Camillard to its citizens.

Turn 1 WB

A Shaolin monk ran forward hiding behind cover to recover equipment from the right flank panoply and found itself with a Swiss guard cloak to provide it -6 mimetism. In an attempt to push forward and destroy some of the coming wave of ForCo mercenaries and Bolts A Mongol cavalry regiment Blue wolf pushed up the WB left flank and rounded a corner where it was met with a Peacemaker and it’s auxbot and inferno insued with the peacemaker falling, the Blue Wolf taking a wound. The inexperience of the Blue Wolf’s pilot showed as they were unaware of the repeater nestled in the chassis of the peacemaker, and Lakshmi noticing the ripe target on there repeater grid posessed the blue wolf. Reeling from this loss, the Daofei was ordered forward, as it darted between cover it finally revealed itself and had a gun battle with a bolt sniper, no casualties were caused but the daofei managed to round cover and killca CSU. The Daofei fired into the famous Warcores of Foreign company but the correspondents’ experience meant it ducked and dodged incoming fire and put helpful barrels between it and the flechettes of the YuJing built Spitfire. It passed four armour saves over the course of two orders. The Daofei sprinted for cover and dived inside a building on its way past it lay a d-charge onto the AC2 and did 1 wound of damage. The well built and high armour of PanO showing it’s quality as well as Lakshmis hacking prowess neutered what could have been an even more devastating charge from the 23rd Banner in its first turn.

Turn 1 ForCo

Valkyrie knew that the Daofei sitting in a building in ForCo deployment would cause havoc if left unattended, especially so close to one of the reliquaries blast door controls. She sprinted around the corner and vaulted over the cover that the WarCor hid behind finger gunning the camera as she passed. She stopped just shy of the doorway and took a deep breath before bellowing a war cry from ancient human legend to confront the well armoured highwayman. Fortunately due to YuJing supplies being upheld on the Durgama pensinula the Daofei’s armour held only taking a wound against a critical Explosive close combat attack. The Valkyrie and Daofei remained locked on combat inside the building, sparks flying out of the window and doorways from the swords clashing.

The Possessed Blue Wolf with the pilot wrestling the malignant program moved towards the deployment zone of the 23rd Banner (WB) it left fly it’s guns into a warcor who crit it’s stun but the program sensing its inability to fire moved through two mines laid by LongYa and left it out in the open in line of sight of a bolt sniper. Fortunately the Blue Wolf’s armour held despite the armour piercing mines of its compatriots.

A beast hunter dropped down from its firing position and ran towards the Shaolin monk who spent too long admiring it’s new -6 cloak to realise the hunter approaching until too late. They dodged around the room with the beast hunter finally sinking it’s ace into the shoulder of the monk who slumped against the corner, his new cloak covered in YuJing blood.

Turn 2 WB

With the pilot regaining control of the Blue Wolf’s haggard systems it moved out of its open position being fired at by a bolt sniper. It panzerfausted back with both players rolling a 20 and an 8 to match and cancel each other out. The bolts finely made bullets impacting the rocket propelled grenades and showering the midfield with fragmentation and broken dreams. Finally in cover the Blue Wolf stalked across to the right flank where it killed the beast hunter in a flurry of AP rounds.

The Blue Wolf moves further up the board following the Daofeis path towards the middle of ForCo deployment. It has a gun battle with the same WarCor who saves a total of 9 armour saves during the game before finally dropping. Proving that only the best Correspondents get posting with ForCo. The Blue Wolf kills a securitate in split burst while fighting the WarCor and then berserks into a bolt Sniper but the sniper gets a shot in as it charges and drops the Blue Wolf unconscious.

The Jujak fire team with ShangJi moves up the board spreading out as its members drop out of the link into defensive positions and slingshot the Jujak engineer into range of the Blue Wolf. With all the pressure the Engineer misses there first shot but hits on the last order of the game to revive the battered Blue Wolf on the last order of the game.

Turn 2 ForCo

The Chimera and Pupniks scurry up the right flank of ForCo throwing smoke and doging to position themselves for a counter punch on the YuJing AC2 in the last turn.

Valkyrie after tiring of its fight with the Daofei, let out a roar and beheaded there opponent. Valkyrie’s roar as well as the Jujak engineers glup could be heard across the 23rd Banners comm net as she stood outside the building with her shotgun ready. As Valkyrie rounded the doorway with a red mist in her eyes the Jujak let fly ending Valkyries unearthly charge. The Blue Wolf missing ablative armour and sparking from the joints let fly with its flamethrower as the bolt fire team moved to engage, killing a bolt paramedic and Lakshmi.

In an act if logically calculated revenge a clipper stationed in a roof moved to the rear arc if the Blue Wolf let fly and finally the Blue Wolf exploded throwing it’s remaining armour and it’s Flamethrower imploding immolating the pilot inside.

Turn 3 WB

The Jujak Engineer bolstered by the lack of Valkyrie but wary of the smoking ruin that used to be a Blue Wolf ran forward and placed three D-Charges over the courses of three orders and again due to the quality of PanO construction as well as the naturally hardened systems of the Camillard Reliquary it only took away 2 structure points.

The ShangJi after being alerted to the imminent Pupniks attack from its left flank climbed down the building to take up a firing position covering the WB AC2.

A Hundun who had been hiding on a roof top revealed itself to fire into the Pupniks but with inhuman alacrity and poise dodged the incoming rockets.

I’m a last ditch effort to cover the AC2 the two LongYa remotes, whose systems were not used to longer than 10 second of contact, shed there camouflage and along with the ShangJi set up suppressive fire to cover the AC2.

Turn 3 ForCo

The charge of the Pupnik brigade was brought to a halt one order away from the AC2 by a LongYas SMG that ripped apart the Chimera as they emerged from the smoke. The ShangJi breathed a sigh of relief as the game ended.

Moral victory
ForCo, for the iron correspondent passing 9 armour rolls against high damage weapons and the fact that WB had rogue Flash Pulse bots deployed that it shouldn’t have had. They didn’t contribute any orders to the pool as it wasn’t in the list on army. Apologies to my opponent who graciously waved the issue.

Excellent report! And a nice victory as well! Truly, you have done the State Empire proud. Consider adding some text under each picture to detail what we are seeing in the future using the “add more” option.
