Intro:
I’m trying to move to learn how to play ForCo after playing WinterFor for a while. After a long time playing with no camo or smoke its going to take me a bit longer to get the hang of it. Also, I still don’t trust CC as I just like to shoot stuff!

Turn 1:
White Banner took the first turn. The Blue Wolf charged up a flank and killed the Peacemaker with its flamethrower but took a wound in return. More importantly the over zealous pilot had forgotten about the Peacemakers repeater which allowed Laxmee to possess it. White Banner activated plan B and sent the monk up the other flank who then managed to pull out mim -6 from the panoply vending machine. The Daofei then made a run on the AC2, the successful run managed to force a Bolt sniper to guts into cover and kill the CSU watching over it. Our heroic Warcor and Taowu cosplayer survived a number of hits but was unable to stop the Daofei wounding the AC2 with a d-charge. With his orders running out the Daofei cowered in a nearby building.

Bottom of T1 saw me realise that the poor positioning of my Bolts meant that I couldn’t move the link without breaking the link or taking a free shot from a suspicious camo token that certainly wasn’t a Long Ya. Valkyrie berserked into the building and crit the Daofei causing 4 damage 16 hits with her EXP CCW which only caused a single wound, to make matters worse the Daofei put a wound on her in return. While the Blue Wolf pilot argued with Clippy the Paperclip about how to troubleshoot his problems Laxmee remote piloted it around the corner and attempted to kill the Warcor and flashbot, the poorly constructed TAG managed to take a crit from the flashbot, failed 2 out of the 3 saves while White Banner’s propagandist passed her armour save and guts roll. Luckily there was still 2 camo tokens in the open which were certainly not AP mines belonging to those bigger camo tokens that certainly weren’t Long Ya’s. To everyone’s surprise both the S2 camo tokens turned out to be AP mines but the cheap, poor quality mines produced by YJ turned out to be defective and neither manged to penetrate the TAG’s armour. Exasperated by the entire incident Laxmee parked the Wolf in front of a Bolt sniper to force an ARO should the pilot win his battle with Clippy. The Beasthunter then ran forward and decided that the best way to deal with a mim-6 Monk with smoke was to bludgeon him with something heavy and managed to kill it.

Note: with hindsight Laxmee should have moved the Wolf into base contact with the Uberfall and placed a pitcher outside the building with the Daofei to isolate/immobilise him and provide hacking cover to the AC2. Also I had forgotten that Beasthunters have forward deployment!

Turn 2:
The Blue Wolf pilot vanquished Clippy the Paperclip and regained control of the TAG and dashed to the other flank without taking any damage from the Bolt sniper. After dishonourably shooting the Beasthunter in the back it took several shots at our beloved Warcor, after tanking his 9th save of the game the Blue Wolf gave up on bullets and set our heroic reporter on fire. The commotion caused the Bolt sniper to poke round the corner again who caused a wound on the TAG as it berzerked into him killed him. The Securitate wasn’t going to let this just happen though and using his superb training provided to all ForCo employees as part of our learning and development programme (check our website for details about our generous pension plan) shot the TAG and caused the final wound. The JuJak engineer was then able to run up the board and gizmo kit the TAG.

The Forco counterattack went horribly wrong, Valkyrie was able to finish off the Daofei but died to the JuJak engineer. Laxmee foolishly misjudged the distance between her and the Wolf’s flamethrower which resulted both her and the Bolt paramedics death. It was at this point ForCo remembered it had a Clipper missile bot who used its fantastic tactical acumen to kill the TAG. The Uberfall moved up ready to make a run on the AC2 next turn.

Turn 3:
The Jujak engineer, one of YJ’s best engineers was completely clueless about how d-charges work and only managed to cause 2 wounds after placing all 3 charges onto it (If you would like to find out how to use d-charges properly then why not visit one of our many convenient recruitment offices and speak to one of our friendly Kaplans). Thanks to the excellent physical training facilities and the highly nutritious diet provided by ForCo the Pupniks were able to dodge several shots from a Hundun. White Banner then set up an excellent defence with both Long Ya and the Shang Ji setting going into suppression.

ForCo initiated the charge of the Pupnik brigade but the Chimera failed the last crucial smoke dodge that was required to get the pups into CC with the AC2. After that, the only thing left to do was to bring on the Cube Jager to collect some cubes!

Observant readers will have noticed that the above report mentions YJ flashbots which don’t appear in army list, this was an accident during deployment due to looking at the wrong list. I’m claiming this as a moral victory for ForCo as the faction is clearly so good that YJ needs all the extra help that it can get 😀

Excellent report, love seeing the Jujak get to go to town just in time to remind me why I don’t take them 😉
