Durgama Takeover

Daoying Ming Yue took up position on the top of the tower looking down at the battlefield hoping that this meeting wouldn’t be as bloody as the last, little did she know. A small fireteam of Tai Sheng, the shang ji Zi Da and the yan huo Fa Ruo were positioned behind cover. In front of Zi Da was positioned a small chaiyi yaokong designated Ei peeking out. Its brother chaiyi, Xi was in the middle peeking out. A news reporter was positioned up on a building to Ming’s left out of the way which she was thankful for. In front of Xi was Krit Kokram who had appeared again. On the right was the larger fireteam of soldiers being led by chief engineer Chung-Hee Jeong. There was zhanshi Ying up on the roof top, with the specialist Ju Shi behind cover while the last zhanshi Ji Jiu was postioned looking into the centre. The son-bae Baoyu was on the right fully hidden. From her vantage point she could look across at the opposing side and saw the Military Orders deployment. Teutonic knights seemed to make up the bulk of their force with a flash of a knight of Santiago on the left side from her view point. On the right was a large fireteam of crosiers with an embedded teutonic knight with a missile launcher on top of the building. Remotes with flash pulses were on either side while she had detected a raveneye officer present.Hidden somewhere in the deployment was a mulebot hacker as well as it registered from her aerial vantage. She had a foreboding feeling that something was missing, but couldn’t put her finger on what exactly.
The military orders kicked off with the small fireteam on the left hand side charging forwards with the teutonic knight with spitfire leading the way. Unfortunately he misjudged the fire lane of Fa Rong with its weaponry spinning round above the wall and firing two missiles his way wiping the teutonic out. The Santiago decided to camouflage his signature as a friendly to move across that fire lane, succeeding, but being discovered in the process. The bulleteer on the other side moved forwards finding no resistance as it moved up to the panoply on that side and following its programming accessed the device and retrieved an adhesive launcher. On the other side a trinitarian revealed itself and moved into contact with the other panoply braving a couple of shots from Ei dodging all of them and getting an hmg from the panoply. Apart from that there seemed to only be a minor rearrangements of troops at the back losing some of the momentum giving Ming Yue seizing it and ordering her forces forwards.
Ei went first giving one last attempt at blinding the trinitarian and failing. This cleared the line for Zi Da to spray the trinitarian with bullets clipping her several times and bringing her down. Next Krit moved across to line up a shot with the bulleteer and two bursts from his shotgun brought it down, but he ended up glued to the ground as a result. On the left flank Fa Rong led the fireteam up with all opposition hugging cover. On the right flank Jeong led his fireteam forwards seeing no opposition. Baoyu was given the task of braving the approach to the panoply as Jeong suspected something was up. He was proven correct when a second trinitarian revealed itself shooting Baoyu with an smg shot which pinged off its armour as it accessed the panoply and got a light flamethrower. It promptly put the light flamethrower to use spraying the trinitarian to death as it moved away allowing Jeong to move up. He keyed in the code first time and accessed the panoply withdrawing a multispectral visor which he clipped in place. It was time as Fa Rong moved forwards to draw line of sight on the teutonic knight on the rooftop with the missile launcher. Both shot however the teutonic proved superior this time causing a wound. Zi Da stepped up then and moved across to cover and fired bringing the teutonic down with several wounds, however with no targets remaining the invincibles settled in to defend.
The first thing to happen was for another teutonic to come charging around the corner however Jeong was on the alert and shot with it returning fire. Jeong proved superior this time with the explosion bringing it down. A crosier paramedic threw a medikit to the teutonic on the rooftop who patched himself up successfully and returned to the fight vowing revenge. He fired at Zi Da who wasn’t as good with the return fire this time and went down in the explosion. This opened the route up for the Santiago to camouflage himself once more and move forwards. He didn’t get far before Fa Rong identified him once more, but by then it was too late as he was able to charge into combat. He swiftly dispatched the already wounded Fa Rong, but Tai Sheng was able to paint him for Baoyu potentially achieving an instruction that HQ had given to them. The Santiago charged into combat with her next however her experience meant that she only suffered a minor wound to begin with as she saw the explosive charge coming. However the blade then finished her off as it got brought up. The Santiago withdrew then stepping on Fa Rong’s neck in the retreat to prevent him from coming back achieving some form of objective. With that final act Ming Yue ordered her forces back on the offensive.
Jeong ordered his team across giving the instruction to Baoyu who locked on to the target and launched blowing the Santiago up. He climbed the wall then to free Krit from his imprisonment before dropping back down with his team and moving back to the panoply. Ji Jiu moved up this time and found additional armour plates which she clipped to herself as they continued moving across. Jeong moved out and lined up a shot with the fugazi and got blinded in the exchange which ended their momentum. Krit dropped down and moved across towards the middle placing a repeated down on the floor in case anyone tried to brave the centre.
In what was probably close to the end of the battle the raveneye officer moved forwards then to claim something from the left panoply. On the other flank the fugazi tried to move however was swiftly blown up by Jeong. This prompted a crosier to break away from his fireteam and move forwards. It was in the first exchange of shots that he revealed himself to actually be a knight commander taking Jeong down to the floor where he was slowly bleeding. The knight commander moved forwards then exchanging shots with both Ju Shi and Ji Jiu eliminating Ju Shi from beside the panoply while Ji Jiu succeeded but the bullet bounced off of the knight commander’s armour. He continued forwards so that he could get all of them into range of his shotgun. In a fortunate circumstance all but Jeong felt the pellets bounce off of their armour with the chief engineer being killed in the hail of pellets.
With that the zhanshi took the fight back to him as they reformed their link. Ji Jiu moved forwards then and poured fire into the knight commander who finally went down as she thanked the additional armour for protecting her. Krit moved back across realising that they needed more intel to win this as he accessed the panoply removing a hard hitting close combat weapon which he realised that he could damage the advanced communications console with. He moved forwards then to try and brave the teutonic on the way however the missile landed and brought Krit down. With that final shot the battle went dead as both sides got the information that reinforcements were in the area and so decided to withdraw with the invincibles claiming the pyrrhic victory getting slightly more information from the panoplies, but it was so close. Ming Yue once more looked down upon the battlefield with her forces being victorious, but at what cost as most of her force was down.
