Durgama Takeover

Escalating conflict with Yu Jing, Haqqislam, and other allied elements actively ignoring O-12 commands attacking fellow human forces, the ICAF has been authorized to combat the scenario. For this mission command was granted to William Wallace with the objective of destroying import target facilities, recovering enemy personal for interrogation, cut down enemy forces, and catch enemy communications with key personal. For this mission Wallace enlisted polaris team, a personal entourage of Varangians, Para-commandos, a Chernobog, Irmandihos, and a Rokot team lead by a Volkolak. The Para-commandos were successfully deployed to demolish enemy facilities and recover one of the haqqislam veteran troops for interrogation. Wallace with the Varangians and bearpode pushed deep into enemy territory cutting down significant enemy forces forcing a retreat. Wallace and the Varangians fell to enemy fire, but their bodies and intact cubes were recovered post battle. The bearpode received severe injuries and required emergency medical treatment immediately upon extraction, while the Irmandinhos, the controller, and Rokots were slain during the battle.

Deployment
Opponent and I decided to treat the large trees as saturation zones that also provided cover like normal.
I won the lieutenant roll and chose first player.
Mike had me deploy first on slightly less favorable side.

Turn 1 Marble
Activated irregular Irmandinhos, and attempted to move and throw smoke.
Group 1 Irmandinho was gunned down by ghulam snipers.
Deployed the group 1 Para-commando in contact with selected building for sabotage and activated completing the objective.
Activated again and killed an odalisque duo’d with a Az’rial
Bear activated pushing forward attempting to provide smoke cover for following orders, receives aro shot from ghulam sniper losing a wound.
Wallace and Varangians push forward throwing smoke, then speculative fire smoke further from the existing cloud.
Wallace and Varangians continue to push forward onto enemy deployment and shoot down a flashpulse remote the harris Az’rial
Group 2 Para-commando drops next to original Para-commando.
Pushed forward under smoke cover previously created and opens fire on the long Az’rial causing a wound.
Tag activates trading 4 shots with the 2 ghulam snipers killing on, receiving a hit from the other but makes the armor save.

Turn 1 Mike
A yuan Yuan was deployed near Mike’s sabotage target.
The same Yuan Yuan templated the controller and Rokot (forward observer) successfully killing the controller and putting the forward observer unconscious.
The Yuan Yuan dies to the return fire.
The other Yuan Yuan deployed on the opposite side of the board near my Chernobog just outside of LOF.
Using the prone doctor mike sucessfully restores 2 wounds to the unconscious Az’rial bringing it back up
Mike activates the harris Az’rial and hits the wallace for 4 damage overkilling him significantly, and the varangians successfully smoked in response.
The lone Az’rial activates and attempts to kill the paramedic Para-commando, and receives a wound going unconcious instead
Mike activated a Hawwa’ hacker in camo and moved it forward and carbonited the Chernobog, but died to the heavy flamethrower.
Mike takes a shot at the tag with the remaining sniper, and I attempt to reset to clear the imm-b condition.
The tag succeeds on all of the armor saves, but fails the reset roll.

Turn 2 Marble
Begin Turn in loss of lieutenant.
end up using all 4 command tokens to create regular orders over the turn.
activated irregular Varangians attempting to get smoke down, 2 die and wound the harris Odalisque and succeed on delivering smoke.
I activated the last Irmandinho and moved it forward toward the opponents remaining units, and moved the servant towards my tag.
The third Varangian with the trench hammer berserks into the odalisque killing it, but is Imm-a in return.
Paramedic Para-commando activates and In Extremis Recovery the Az’rial executing it.
I activated the bearpode and moved it up to the building with the Az’rial and doctor under the smoke cover, and finished the order by dodging out of the smoke to gain line of sight without generating AROs.
I then activated the bear and declared berserk targeting the Az’rial on the building, and to succeed in placing the bear i was forced to place the bear in contact with both the doctor and the Az’rial.
The Az’rial received a crit and died, while the bear was hit twice and failed a save going unconscious (I forgot the bear had dogged i could have used).
This completed my secondary predator.
I activated the Varangian with the hammer again attempting to dodge to clear the imm-a state, failing.
I activated the medic breaking the fire team to heal the unconscious Rokot, which was successful.
I then finished the turn by activating the tag with both of its orders declaring reset for both, both times being shot by the Ghulam sniper and saving successfully.
End turn by select tag as the replacement lieutenant.

Turn 2 Mike
Activated the Yuan Yuan near the tag, throwing smoke.
Activated the Camo Hawwa’ deployed on the side of the board that my harris was on moving it forward, and spotlight my forward observer Para-commando.
Re-camouflaged then moved forward and killed the Rokot forward observer with a sneak attack.
The Hawwa then used a D-Charge to
Activated the doctor and shot the Irmandinho that was left killing it, and successfully survived the aro from the Irmandinho and the volkolak.
activated the Ghulam sniper and attempted to shoot the tag, but went unconscious to the ARO return shot.

Turn 3 Marble
Activate the Volkolak and move to next to the Hawwa.
Jump the volkolak down into CC with the Hawwa and cause it to go unconscious.
Activate tag shooting doctor causing the doctor to die, Yuan Yuan throws smoke in response.
Move tag into cc with Yuan Yuan, hit it with chest mine, succeeds on the save.
activate last varangian and move it over next to Yuan Yuan, then dodge it into cc with last order.

Turn 3 Mike
Uses all orders moving Ghulam hacker up to complete HVT: Espionage.

Game ends 8-2 in my favor
