Training operation vs Ian

Forces were sent to the Darpan facility to investigate a series of conflicting and confusing objectives. The force sent from Task Force Corgo was varied with a hope that anything that came up would not require much in the way of medical assistance due to a lack of competent doctors available. However, this would sadly not be the case.

………………Document Recording the Training Events………

………………………Darpan Xeno-Station………..

The resistance met in the area could only be described as rogue AIs that were doing everything it could to imitate ALEPH forces in the area. Due to the constant benevolent behavior of the allied AI, it would be anathema to believe these forces were actually connected to the one true ALEPH.

Lethal Round Authorized

………..Operation details……………..

Evil Beep Boops Turn 1:

With our forces taking a defensive positioning, it was clear that the high value civilian was in a position that would make defending him from the HVT: Inoculation and HVT: Designation next to impossible unless our Epsilon truly found his stride and stopped the entirety of the enemy force. Aleph took the initiative by using a netrod to move a distance that was imperceptible to the naked eye to trigger the planted madtrap. The molecules surrounding the immobile object were vibrating at such an intense frequency that it was surprising that a miniature sun did not burst from the friction that was being caused by his apparently still frame. (The fact that this is possible made me very, very angry.)

A fireteam composed of a hacking asura, a rudra, and parvati moved up very close to the high value civilian and attempted to hack through the sirius remote into my gangbuster killer hacker. He was quickly overtaken by the advanced robot brains he was forced against, but thankfully managed to survive a few of the attacks of the onslaught before he finally found himself bleeding from all of his orifices. The rudra moved up to gun down the warcor while the scared civilian was inoculated with some kind of beep boop disease from the Parvati look-alike.

O-12 turn 1:

In a gung-ho attempt to salvage a very bad situation, the gamma crawled on top of the biggest building in the district to attempt to rain feuerbach fire into the attacking fireteam. He began by firing on the Andromeda recreation to his left and managed to get a lethal wound on it, but it continued to stand. Realizing that he needed to attack the most threatening opposition to his allies, he ran across the roof to annihilate the total reaction remote, and even managed to put the rudras on the ground. He realized that he is close enough to a civilian that was clearly helping the opposing forces. Using his bulk, he Follow-Ups on the civilian so he knows who is truly the boss around here. The crusher realizes that he needs to remove the Andromeda unit to keep the left flank secure. He stands up and realizes that a strange robot dog thing carrying a d-charge is already there………we never heard from him again.

Beep Boop Turn 2:

The enemy managed to finish the rest of the classified objectives and revived the rudras that was primed to begin another run of destruction. The Ruda turned its gaze to the Gamma on the roof, and they exchanged multiple bouts of gunfire that resulted in the Gamma eventually turning into mist. (I was crited a million times.) The immobilized netrod from the previously mentioned madtrap was then…..caseevaced due to it being immobilized to score another of the objectives. (Again, this made me exceptionally angry since this was even possible.)
.
O-12 turn 2:

Due to the excessive amounts of stress going on in the commander’s mind and the body count already witnessed, the operation was considered a massive failure and forces were pulled back to fight another day.

After-Battle Thoughts

This was a game that happened. It was a game. Game things happened. It gives me hope that another game will happen at some point in my life.
