Durgama Takeover

Tristan and i met up to play a game of Infinity, he played Bakunin and i chosed my Varuna (I just started again with the game and i just build them a few days ago, so i only got one painted Model). My opponent decided on the Xenofarm, with a little twist. We played with a Spec Ops and 2 Planoplies (which realy hadn`t much impact on the game).
This was the Table:

The drawn Missions were: Experimental Drug, in extremis recovery, HVT: Follow Up and Sabotage. My classified objective was Capture

Tristan228 won the Lt Roll and picked the first Turn. So i let him deploy first. He spend a Command Token to hold another Model back during Deployment.

I decided to use a command token to dock two of his Order Markers.
Tristan opened the engagement with one of his Morloks. He moved straight forward into Cover, on his way he got into the Line of sight of the Rooftop Helot. The Fishman decided to shoot ( i know, a surprise for my dear reader), the Morlock wanted to throw smoke. The light rockt launcher came through with a crit and burned the Morlock too death.

The second Morlok tried the same Move, he was seen by the Fusilier Sniper. The Morlock tried to Smoke again, but he also lost his ARO and died to a double Action shot.
The Reaction Zond took the next Order and started a shootout with the second Helot.

Both canceled each other with a 9. The drone crawled on top of the Container to denied my Fish the Cover Bonus and the shooting started from a new. Both cancelled each other with a crit.
The Nexus operative had enough and took over. He engaged the Helot and promptly lost the F2F, but his Armor held and he fled back into Full Cover.
His Lt. had seen enough. She cybermasked herself and moved through the Los of the Helot, who decided to wait and see what will happen. The Custodier moved forward until she touched the Wall of the Building on which my Link has took position. The Reverent fulfilled HVT follow up with ease.

After she fullfiled the Mission she tried to Spotlight my Sniper, which decided to reset but i lost the F2F. My Sniper was now Spotlighted and in the Distance an Angry Riot Grrl loomed threatening.
The next order went promptly into the Feminist in Power Armor and a Rocket Launcher and she tried to kill my Sniper. I decided to Shoot back with the Sniper. I won the Shootout and the Grrl went down after failing 2 Armor Saves.

Tristan rebuild his Link and the Moderator Paramedic sprang into action. She leaped up the Ramp and shot her Medipack at the downed Grrl. The Fusi Sniper gave her 2 DA hits as a reward, killing her instantly.
The Grrl made her Physics test and got up again. Giving the Nomads experimentel Drug.

The Nexus Operator was suddenly overcome with a unstillable desire for lightly fried fishfilets and engaged the Helot again. The brave little fish tried to fight for his Life, but lost the F2F and was hit three times with the Rocket Launcher of the Operator and was burned to crisps. So much for lightly fried.
Tristans Haris now moved up to the panoply, getting a LoS to my Orc Hacker. He decided to shoot at them, i Dodged as an ARO. Hacker and Patsy failed their Dodges, but the Nexus failed his Shoots.

The Nexus Haris activated again, my Orcs decided to dodge again. The Nexus Operative opened the Panoplie, stealing a Adhesive Launcher.

I survived Tristans Round losing only the Helot, i am not used to this.
My first Order went into the Sniper. She engaged the Riot Grrl with the Missile Launcher again, winning the shootout and hitting her with 2 DA hits. Killing the Grrl for good.
The Reverend Spotlighted my Spec Ops as her ARO.

Now i moved my HMG Fusilier up, so she could she the Haris Link of Bakunin. I decided to Shoot 2 times at the Operative, once on the Moderator and one for Wolfgang.
The Moderator lost her F2F and went down, the Nexus was Hit but was able to make his Armor Save. He decided to fail his gut roll and moved towards cover. The shot on Wolfgang missed.
The HMG kept on keeping on and moved back, to change places with Mr. Quinn because of the Range in which this engagement took place. Unfortunately i forgot that the Nexus Operative had a Rocket Launcher. My opponent decide to shoot when he got the HMG and Quinn under the Template.
The Nexus lost the dice roll, eating 3 HMG Shots and went down. Unfortunately his shot was a succes and so Quinn was hit, fortunately i made his Armor save.
Wolfgang also shot at my HMG but both missed.

Now Mr. Quinn took Over. He shoot and downed Wolfgang with his first try.
Now that the Haris was gone i was free to pull up with my Croc Men Hacker, which showed up right behind the Reverend Custodier. I tried to Hack the Custodier (because of her Mimetism) with Oblivion and she tried to use the same Program on my Croc. I won the F2F, but she made her BTS roll.

My Spec Ops took over and crawled along the Stairs to see the Nun. Thanks to a double Crit i was able to win the Shootout and to put her down.

Now the Croc Men went into base contact and fulfilled In extremis recovery.

Now i needed the Reaction Zond gone. The right job for my Sniper (i forgot that i had a Line of Sight to Fiddler which i should have engaged first), she moved into the Line of Sight of the Drone and ate a Crit for her efforts and died instantly.

Why do I have a TO unit? Apparently not to use it....With two Orders left i gave one to the Croc Men. I was musing about letting him Recamo, but i wasn`t Sure if he could get into LoS with the Drone with one Movement. So he mad his move without the Recamo. He moved 3!!!!!!!! inches and was in LoF, winning the Shootout and sending the Nomad scrap back to the Junkyard

The last Helot used an Order to move a bit on his Roof to get a better sight over the Battlefield. During this he got Fiddler in his sights. Fiddler decided to dodge and was able to win the dice Roll.

Now the Orcs sprang into action. Using the first Lt. Order Patsy and the Feuerbach moved up. The Camo Marker decided to Reveal itself as a Zero FO and use his Flashpulse against the bestest Girl in the Universe. While i made a big Mistake in Overlooking Fiddlers little Bot. Which decided to Shoot at my Feuerbach.
I Lost the Submachine vs Flashpulse fight and failed the Save. Patsy was now stunned.
To make it even better: the damn Bot critted the Feuerbach putting him down after failing both Armor Saves.

Patsy used the last Order to pull back into Cover, getting Shot on her way by the Zero. I failed my dodge, but i was able to make my Save.

Tristan228 started this turn in LoL without any Command Tokens.
The Zero, having tasted blood, tried to kill the Helot. But what he didn`t know was that this Helot was an descendant of the great White Sharks, which Rule over the Sea. Being the Apex Predator the Helot is he won the Shootout and burned the Zero to death.

His next victim presented himself willingly: the Spitfire Riot Grrl. But what the Helot didn`t know: the Riot Grrl was a descendant of an Orca or Something like that. She won the Shootout with a Crit and killed the poor little Fish. What had he ever done to anybody?

Now Fiddler moved up in a try to Block my Orcs.
With his last Order he puts one of the Moderators in Suprressive Fire.

Patsy starts the Turn by engaging Fiddler and killing him in an Shootout.

Miss Garnet moves up to the Enemy HVT, deciding to ignor the supressive Fire from the Moderator, and completes HVT: Follow Up. Netting me another point. Now we are tied 2:2 on Points and i still Have 9 Orders left.

My plan is now to use the Link to fullfill Sabotage and Capture. But first i have to get rid of the Tower.
The Croc Men takes the next Order and attacks the defensive Tower, destroying it in the first try.

The Link gets into the Action.
The Link Moves as part one of his Order, as second part Quinn opens Fire on the Spitfire Grrl which decides to dodger. She succeds in her dodge and stays out of harms way.
The HMG becomes the Link Leader now. The Link moves forward again, while the HMG engages the Grrl again. The Nomad HI trys to dodge again but i crit her and she goes down.
The Link keeps on moving on with the next Order.
With the next Order my Spec Ops becomes the Link leader he moves toward the Jeep but the Daktari decids to interrupt my little walk and shoots at the Spec Ops. She loses the Shootout but makes her Save.
With the next Order i reach the Jeep but have to fight the Daktari again. This time she eats a crit and goes down. With my next Order the Spec Ops put his D-Charges on the Jeep and fullfills Sabotage.

Quinn moves into Basecontact with Wolfgang to fullfill Capture.

With my last Order i put Patsy in Supp. Fire.

The Nomads are in retreat and without any Command Marker. So the game ends.

Varuna has fullfilled 3 of the Objectives and the Classified, while Bakunin has 2 fullfilled objectives.
So it is a
9:2 Victory for Varuna

What should i say? The Dice were on my sides and i think one of the keys to my Victory was his agressive play with his Lt. I mean even if my Croc Men wouldn`t have been placed there, she still would have been right around the Corner of my Link. Having non CoC that was a bold Move which i had to punish.
All in all it was a fun game and just my second since i started to play again.
