Durgama Takeover

With me rolling a 4 Nomads won initiative and I knew right away this was going to be rough. Nomads deployed first.
The Combined Army castled up in the back right just thin enough not to allow missile attacks to take out multiple targets.
Nomads did minor shuffling and threw a pitcher down the board.
McMurtow (sp?) blasted up the board only to come face to face with my Camo Calaban. McMurtow threw a grenade that went wide. Calaban gets one hit in ARO. Things are looking good. McMurtow gets into close combat makes the Calaban unconscious. He then grabs the beacon and starts to work his way back to the Nomad deployment zone.
Combined turn 1 had the Avatar moving to take out the Nomad remote then over to also get McMurtow unciosious. Dr Worm send slave to revive the Claban. the Avatar moves back to cover the center of the board and takes out another Nomad trooper. Taigias move up to create havoc to Nomads that want to recover the beacon.
Nomad turn two trooper uses many orders to move into HMG sooting distance of the Avatar. Just before getting there he pops smoke then uses the cover to his advantage. After two rounds of HMG shots and Avatar missing all saves and dodges the Avatar is taken out.
Combined turn 2 – Bit is now the LT.
The Calaban moves over to get tighter covering fire on the beacon. Nourkias jumps from his balcony only to land and realize he has jumped into the effective range of the Nomad pitcher deployed turn 1. Nourkias’ brain is fried by multiple hackers attacking in ARO. Tigas continue to push forward. KoDaili arrives in the Nomad deployment zone and removes one Jaguar. She is then taken out by ARO from a second Nomad remote. It is clear that the Combined Army are no match for the Nomads today.
Turn 3 the Nomads easily recover the beacon, obtain their objective and finish in strong position to wipe up the remaining Taigas.
The Avatar should have stayed on mission and plowed up the board as originally planned.
