Durgama Takeover

With the nomad forces holding strong at the fire control center the combined army decided to send in the big guns to wrest it away from the defending Coreggidor force. The EI sent in their avatar surrounded by attack dogs and support forces.

In an attempt to take the battle into hand early on McMurrough attempted to take the whole day upon his shoulders and rushed into the lines of fire. He was able to successfully obtain the enemy’s beacon and transport it halfway home. He was slowed in his efforts by a hidden shasvasti Caliban infiltrator but was able to Put him down and escape. The lost time came back to bite him thoug when he was knocked unconscious once the Avatar came out to start his reckless rampage through the field.

The Avatar rampaged around and removed all visible signs of Coreggidorian resistance from the port battery while positioning his attack taiga to protect his flanks. Our forces lost a brave Moran infiltrator and a loyal Tsyklon.

Finally it appeared the Avatar ran out of steam and settled in next to a building to take a break. Our brave jaguar crew ran up to drop covering smoke before corporal Markus Firefinger our ace in the hole, our intruder, snuck up the table and took care of the EI’s beast. The firefight was long and dangerous but Markus emerged Victorious.

Seeing their Avatar fall put the combined forces in disarray, Bit now inhabited by the avatar’s consciousness and Kai’l Nourkias attempted to salvage the operation. They called in support from combat drop troop Ko’dali who attempted to assassinate our command and hacking troops but was rebuffed by a brave jaguar who lost his life in the fight. Afterwards our hackers Jazz and her wildcat support Marias were able to make quick work of Nourkias who strayed too close to one of our repeater emplacements while trying to recover the combined beacon.

After these losses the combined force pulled back and we were able to recover both the beacon and the brave McMurrough. We’ve won the day, pushed back the combined, and prevented their foothold.
