The Haqqislam forces are getting desperate for supplies. They got the drop on a small squadron of Corregidor fighters led by an inexperienced Alguacil commander with the intent of trying to grab what they needed and bolting back to the surface.

It started with them setting up their forces in secret without the nomad forces noticing. Once they were set up the nomads clued into the trap that was being set up for them and tried to rush the haqq forces before they could pounce on them. The suddenness of the offensive resulted in a few of the troupes not having enough time to react and as a result the nomad forces started with two less orders available to them. The core link of the jaguar, wildcat, mobile brigada and evader rushed down the left flank desperately trying to reach the unprotected beacon that was left on the other side of the hangar. As they stormed down the flank a fanous and a nafantun tried to pick off the fireteam as they came into view, but luckily the squadron’s familiarity with zero g environments allowed them to dodge into cover and start to return fire. After a close exchange back and forth the evader was able to pick off the two haqq units blocking their path to beacon. While all of this was going on the camouflaged bandit took advantage of the situation to try and push forward and grab more control of the middle of the hangar. Unfortunately it took all the momentum that the Nomads had gained by starting the attack first and they had to hunker down waiting for the haqq response.

In response to the original nomad push the Haqq forces tried to press their advantage down the right flank. This started by the Djanbazan pushing forward to try and discover the camouflaged intruder holding down the lane as best he could. The Intruder’s camouflage wasn’t able to fool the Djanbazan’s keen eyes and was discovered, however his cover was enough to keep him safe from the shots that followed. The duo team of the Fasid and Lasiq then tried to challenge the Intruder who stood his ground and responded by firing back. The Fasid missed his shots while the Intruder was only able to land shots directly on his armour that made no real damage. The Fasid then tried to protect his squadmate by shooting back at the Intruder, he fared much better landing 4 shots onto the intruder with viral bullets. Luckily the sturdy armour and cover that the Intruder was using allowed him to escape any damage that he could have received. The Bandit however didn’t fare as well, in a desperate attempt to protect his squadmate he dropped his camouflaged to try and use his adhesive launcher on the Lasiq, the shot misses by a mile . Seeing an opportunity to get rid of a massive annoyance the Lasiq takes his next move and kills the Bandit with his shock ammo. Seeing a clear midfield the Sekban NCO rushes into the central structure trying to catch the core fireteam off-guard. His attempt succeeds and he manages to wound the evader in his surprise attack. Seeing the state of the battlefield on the other side of the hangar the Lasiq decides to break his fireteam up and go into suppression.

The Nomads take this opportunity to try and regain the momentum on the battlefield once again. The core fireteam starts by dealing with the closest threat to them, the Sekban. The Evader decides to take shots right away, he manages to neutralize the Sekban at the cost of his own life. Luckily the Wildcat was able to take control of the group after their leader was killed, as he had a wealth of experience to tap in to as a veteran troop. The fireteam continued to push down the left flank trying to weather the rain of bullets raining down on them from the other side of the hangar. The Lasiq, Fasid and Danjzaban all try and neutralize the fireteam as they power through the open area separating them from cover. Every shot misses, the group is stuck in an open field with all eyes on them. Trying to get back to safety the fireteam pushes on to cover, trying to protect themselves. The squadron dodges trying desperately to get to safety, despite the nerves making most of them fail the dodge the haqq troopers all miss their shots. Besides the Lasiq who manages to wound the Mobile Brigada. In response to this the Jaguar shoots his panzerfaust at the Djanbazan, his shots hit and kill the sniper. The jaguar does this at the cost of his own life as he is shot by the Lasiq suppressing the lane. Once again the Wildcat saves the fireteam from dissolution, just him and the Mobile Brigada remain. The Mobile Brigada in one last final push manages to make a Barid who’d been hiding from the battle up until now go unconscious.

The wounds were too deep on the Haqq Danbazan trying to regenerate and as such he died. What looked like a group of 3 Bashi’s rushed towards the intruder out of what seemed to be nowhere, they must have parachuted in without anyone noticing. As the Bashi’s rushed forward the Intruder tried to shoot one of them out of desperation. Unfortunately it was an illusion and the shot missed. The real Bashi shot at the intruder, but the Bashi’s smg wasn’t able to penetrate the Infiltrator’s armour. Sensing that the Infiltrator was a bit too much for him to handle the Bashi made a mad dash for the beacon. The Intruder was caught completely off guard by this and wasn’t able to turn around in time to prevent the Bashi from picking up the ordinance on the last effort the haqq squadron could muster this push.

The Nomad’s weren’t going to take this lying down, the Intruder shot the Bashi at the first opportunity it got and managed to kill it with it’s shock ammo in it’s gun, the beacon was once again safe. The remnants of the core fireteam on the other side of the hangar took this opportunity to push forward once again. The Wildcat and the Mobile Brigada manage to push into the building where the unconscious Barid was lying. During their desperate push the Ghulam holding down the back line was able to gun down the Mobile Brigada. Leaving the Wildcat alone, the sole survivor of the fireteam. Sensing that his time was almost up The Wildcat rushed to the body of the downed Barid. He was able to secure his secondary objective of procuring intel from an enemy specialist right before he was gunned down by the Ghulam like his squadmate.

The Haqq forces running out of time rushed down the right flank with the reformed duo of the Fasid and Lasiq trying to get to the beacon before they ran out of time. As they rushed down corridor the Intruder was able to get one shot off onto the Lasiq and the Fasid each, but ultimately both shots missed. The Haqq duo on their last move decides to split up, with the Lasiq rushing to the beacon to pick it up and the Fasid running into the face of the Intruder to block any shot that they could take. Even with the successful CC attack that the Intruder manages to land on the Fasid, they can’t prevent the Lasiq from picking up the beacon.

The skirmish ends and Haqq retreats, having taken some losses but still achieving their ultimate goal of securing the beacons. The inexperienced Alguacil commander now has to write a combat report having missed most of the fighting and hoping to learn from the crushing defeat so he can come back stronger and smarter than before. After a proper dressing down from high command of course.
