Durgama Takeover

Darpan has become a very disputed sector. The files derived from the investigations carried out there may be useful for our terraforming projects.

We managed to infiltrate a detachment of units highly specialized in precise and fast attacks. However during the raid, something went wrong; somehow our bioactivity sensors began to resonate, apparently there was a leak of some kind, of unknown lethality and it was slowly but steadily approaching our position. According to maps sent by intelligence, the only safe zone was in the heart of the facility. Priorities changed, survival was going to be a priority.

Bad news never comes alone, and ours was escorted by a Merovingian detachment that was in a similar situation to ours. To make matters worse, the safe room was tight so they would have to shoot their way through.

We took the initiative the enemy dug in strongly, luckily our Fiday managed to get close enough to successfully attack an enemy flank. The rest of our troops were carefully advanced, gaining access to the safe room, we positioned ourselves as well as possible to withstand the enemy counterattack which was not long in coming.

By the time we realized it, the Ariadno paracommand, after dodging shots from our Daylami, had taken an advantage position and began to decimate our force in such a way that we lost the advantage.

With a rebound of forces, our troops managed to eliminate the enemy troops. With the room taken by the enemy, there was nothing left but to attack in the most aggressive way. There was a real carnage, shots and explosions everywhere. After the smoke disappeared, only the silhouette of our brave Asawira remained; full of wounds, with his regenerative factors working at full capacity, he managed to gain control of the area, surviving the biological agent and the enemy’s attacks. Filled with the blood, tears and sweat of their brothers in arms, our troops returned home with a bittersweet taste. Empty-handed, yet still alive and willing to give it up for the greater good.
