This game was an experiment in Forward deploying Morat list in an attempt to control midfield before the game even starts. At the end of the deployment, I had 2 Tyrok minelayers, 2 Zerat Killer hackers and 2 Rindak paramedics, covering both communication Antennas. On top of this, I also had Oznat with a couple of Gakis for orders and smoke coverages, and in the second group a 5 morat fireteam with MSV2 sniper, Hacker with the pitcher, Engineer, Kaitok HI, and a Moran Vanguard Lt. With going first I was able to use smoke/msv2 to kill the 2 TR REMs and damage opponents HI. I also covered the area with repeaters, and occupied the midfield with my fireteam and put both Zerats, a Tyrok and one Rindak in suppressive fire. What followed was a bloody battle with many, many casualties on both sides. In the end I was able to activate one of the consoles and control it and with the last couple of orders my oppenet managed to prevent me from controlling the Tech-coffin but he was not able to control it either, leading to my victory.
Overall experiment was a success and showed the full power of Morats, and their ability to control the midfield. I just need to make fewer mistakes and be more aggressive with my killer hackers in killing opponents hackers 🙂 Overall fun game 🙂
Sus.
Such a fun game really deserves some nice pics for us to enjoy as well 🙂
I would love to see some pictures of what this forward deploying morat force looks like.
We want picture of your victory ! Good game by the way !
Thanks 🙂 I have been struggling a bit with Morats, but lately I started playing them like JSA, super focused lists on missions, and I am doing way better 🙂
