Durgama Takeover

What started as a routine patrol devolved into frustration and confusion…

While performing a patrol of the research labs my forces encountered a signal of unknown origin. My hacking team were able to confirm the signal originated from human technology, but was a frequency not used since before the Raveneye conflict began.
Immediately whispers of shasvastii began passing amongst the troops. It wasn’t long before we were able to pinpoint the source of the signal. The signal we picked up was coming from remotes fron Pan-O. We made contact, and as is customary during wartime I gave the challenge statement issued by command and waited for the response. The response that came back over the comm was incorrect…these troops were not sent from any Durgama Command!
They were either lone operators ,or worse, Shasvastii spies.
Immediately the command to deploy into defensible positions was given.
The warcor who was given permission to observe the patrol excitedly found his way to a rooftop saying something along the lines of “I’m going to get an award for this story for sure”. We recovered his aerocam after the conflict…the last picture on it was a bulleteer in the process of firing its spitfire. Poor bastard never even saw it coming.
Even though they fired on a war cor I wanted to keep the casualties to a minimum. I quickly set up a smoke screen to get my cyberghost into position to make use of his pitcher. The repeater landed within range of a knight of justice, and the cyberghost went to work with haste. Within seconds the knight was immobilized, trapped in the very armor meant to keep him safe.
