Durgama Takeover

Disclaimers & Caveats: another TTS game but smaller scale. We didn’t use any of the special rules because none really worked on a board this small. I forgot to capture deployments. We also didn’t use the free Bounty Hunters for the same reason.

A small 150 pt skirmish between O12 and Kosmoflot.

Kosmo got initiative. They pushed forward hard. Most of my troops were prone and hiding. Only my Kytta and a Blucoat in a Harris remained to ARO. My Kutta died from a stupid ARO on my part. Poor guy. I also ended up losing the Bluecoat.
On O12 turn, I pushed up with my Core Fireteam and managed to kill 2 Rokots, weakening their Core fireteam.

Round 2 saw shots fired back and forth. Highlights were my Kappa surviving hit after hit after hit that should have killed her. She went toe-to-toe with a Varangian, lived, and disengaged so we could shoot him to death. And my paramedic killing more of my team. T_T I think all of my deaths were from failed attempts at resing them.

Round 3 saw final presses trying to get kills. O12 had turtled up during round 2 and were hard to remove. We still lost a Bluecoat, a Kappa (paramedic again). We took down the WarCor, a Varangian, and a 112 to try and even up the score. In an epic move, my plain Kappa took down a Scots Guard with two crits on an ARO!

In the end we tied on Objective points and it came down to Kosmoflot have 12 points more left alive to break the tie.

My MVP was the Kappa killing and surviving beyond expectations. The MVP for Kosmoflot, in my opinion, was my freaking paramedic. T_T

Games at this scale are fun sometimes. It’s mostly the scrubs but a nice change. It’s like college football vs professional football.
There will be a full 300 pt rematch before the campaign is over.
