Durgama Takeover

a Fantastic and Very close game coming down the last order for victory to be secured, The Tunguskan force were up against a beast filled ariandan list full of heavy armour and heavy hitters to boot, A heavily fought over center zone and a few misplaced orders on my part left for a very exciting battle for center zone.

These are A few Quick notes from the Game, I’ll update the battle report with a more in depth report soon!

1st nomads: nomads advance to center field, Hmg Kriza takes a shot at blackjack and manages to hit with 3 caused one wound.

Everything else is in position to ARO on ariandna turn 1.

In ariandna turn 1 the Kriza survived a barrage of poorly aimed blackjack shots, and caused a damaging blow to the blackjack with his ARO back

The ariandnas moved up on the nomad positions, throwing smoke to cover their advances

The bearpode bounces into the smoke avoiding any AROs

He springs from the smoke to a hmg in the face and jelenas breaker, taking 2 wnds and knocking uncon

The Ariandnan paramedic sprints towards the smoke to rescue his fallen bear friend.

with his advance masked by the smoke and a success full roll, The bearpode recovers a wound and is back up to fight another day.

Nomads turn 2: the Zondnaut zooms up the board with its impetuous order, the Kriza fires upon the downed blackjack to take it out before the arianda paramedic gets there to bring it back to life, Splattering the already uncon blackjack all over the floor, taking it out.

A shot upon The bearpode ends with it dodging into my fireteam, posing an impossible threat, a misused order turned to chaos, the bearpode using its template ARO taking out Jelena’s final wound and putting my two Securitate(HMG, Paramedic) into uncon but not before the hmg caused another brutal wound to the furry beast.

with the fireteam broken The remaining Securitate with boarding shotgun hops out of cover to shoot the now uncon bear, hitting with both but unfortunately not causing a killing blow

With the luck of the dice and a very well positioned hidden deployment, The spektr pops out of hidden deployment and shoots the bear in the back taking him out.

on the other side of the board The zondnaut transforms and pops up ready to shoot the unsuspecting troops idle in the enemy’s deployment, They shoot taking out 2 enemies but not a well rolled ARO from ariandna knocked them both uncon…oops.

Ariandna turn 2: equipe mirage turns the corner coming to range of the Kriza’s taking a wound in ARO from the HMG.

A second movement and ARO from the Kriza and it puts the hound firmly into uncon.

Nomad turn 3: the final Securitate secures capture classified by getting into base to base with equipe mirage, if she survives this will be a point…spoiler she does.

The spektr turns the corner to shooter the kosmosolidat in the face…Spektr hits with two shots…The Kosmo’s ARO misses…The kosmo is dead.

Ariandna turn 3: advances up the board unable to do much else until suddenly grimsdottir springs to life causing a wound on the Kriza, grimsdottir then turns her attention to the spektr missing both shots and taking an ARO from the Kriza, getting knocked uncon from the percussive force of the Krizas hmg.

and with the end of turn 3 scores were counted, Nomads were able to secure the capture classified and managed to secure all three Zones due to overwhelming points weight of my two surviving Krizas and Spektr in the enemy zone. the inital push from the Nomads meant that a strong defensive position was able to keep the center zone clear of advancing ariandna, despite the best efforts of both Equipe Mirage and The bearpode to break through the wall of Nomads.
