[corrupted] and classified information suggests Nomad forces on Raveneye are attempting to abscond with the rail cannon to the motherships. While we commend the defense of the Raveneye, commandeering the rail cannon for the personal use of the Nomad nation is ill-advised and the Ramah Taskforce has been deployed to [corrupted] claim as much of the zone of operations as possible, and secondarily sabotage the [corrupted] to serve the people of Haqqislam and humanity writ large.

[MISSION LOG]

The Nomads under the Tunguska Jurisdictional Command took up defensive positions in the port battery area. Taking the initiative, the assault spearhead consisting of a Namurr and pair of Mukhtars advanced through the zone, moving up while avoiding the watchful Grenzer sniper to spot two bounty hunters, dropping them with bursts of the Namurr’s spitfire and Mukhtar’s red fury. He then placed a d-charge on the target, detonating it in a shower of shrapnel, sending debris through the low gravity theater. The Namurr confidently turned the corner to target the Grenzer, but his augmented toughness and superior burst could not withstand the double action rounds and marksmanship of the Nomad. Vengeance was immediately and justly doled out by a Mukhtar armed with a red fury.

But the Mukhtars overextended themselves, with a Heckler revealing itself by spawning a FastPanda near the duo, targeting them, and eliminating them with a guided missile. With that flank cleared, the Salamander and nearby camouflage marker advance, with the former eliminating a Ghulam sniper.

Revving her engines, Carmen zooms ahead with her heavy machine gun, obtained by her and Batard by means better left unexplored. She zeroed in on the remaining bounty hunter, dropping him, then hunkering down to suppress anyone who might pass around the corner. With that, a Nahab armed with a boarding shotgun arrived from a rend in the hull. The Interventor alerted the nearby Clockmaker, with a Puppetmaster turning a nearby puppet as well. The Nahab fell on the oblivious Puppetmaster, detonating the hapless foe with a d-charge but taking a wound in the process. With the taste of combat coursing in her veins, she turned to the Clockmaker, avoiding incoming fire and felling the engineer with a pair of shotgun slugs. With that, the Nahab had to move toward the TAG, sacrificing herself in a gout of flame but incapacitating the Interventor in the process. Meanwhile, a Monstrucker tossed about some DropBears.

The Salamander, temporarily cut off from the command structure, managed to eliminate the Zhayedan and a Securitate paramedic began to move toward her downed lieutenant.

In a last gasp, the remaining Ghulams pushed forward and a Tuareg revealed himself, eliminating a Heckler. With a prayer to Allah, he then turned to fire at the back of the Salamander. In the vacuum of space, perhaps no one can hear you pray, as the rounds bounced harmlessly off the Salamander’s armor. The war machine turned to claim another life with its heavy flamethrower. The Securitate advanced to secure the battery operator.

With the forces of Haqqislam squarely denied most of the battlefield throughout the skirmish, the remainder of the force was compelled to evacuate the port battery, allowing the Nomads to continue their shadowy goals.

Congrats to Cypher! It did feel a bit closer than the points imply, but I just did a weak job both moving my guys to the midfield and keeping them alive when they got there.
