Durgama Takeover

This was our first game for the Durgama Takeover.
We haven't played much since N4 (thanks to the pandemic) and decided to use the given scenario with its additions.

I was too lazy to take nodes, so I made us a few short videos. The video you see in this battle report is a collection of these. They are NOT edited, but they will give you a good overview of the game, if you understand german.

Greetings friends of bloody entertainment to another episode of Danger Zone!

Today we are live from the Raveneye Station, one of the new exciting hotspots around Concilium Prima.
I have found us a nice mixed patrol of our trusted Nomad military. And they have found themselves one, yes you heard right, one single digusting alien. Its one of these Shasvastii things and this one is a big one. And it shimmers and is hard to see, like it is surrounded by big fat flies. *urgs*
There are some disturbances within the area too, so I guess we have something interesting coming. There are surely more of these creatures...

What was that? Did the big one lay an egg, which immediatly hatched? Oh man, I think I'm going to get sick. Luckily its running back now.
The slimy thing that hatched there had a Panzerfaust and a Combi Rifle within it's egg! Quite impressive toys for a newborn like that gangbanger with his own Panzerfaust did find out the hard way. Well, there are always more Jaguars. And we have our first blood.
It seems there is something on the left flank too.

Ahh, we have a Wildcat with Spitfire with our troops. That's always a warrant for some bloody murder. *sounds excited*
WHAT? Did that guy go down after the first exchange? Ahhhwww, boooooring. Ok, at least the Daktari thought of bringing a Zondbot. Come on little guy, get the looser with the big gun up again!
Aaand, he is alive and up again! Does he manage to squash that newborn bug with his second try? HE DOES!
Gosh, am I glad that we don't need to smell that. Do you see that stuff that gets out of the Shasvastii? *gags*

One of the other Jaguars is advancing. Did he stop right in the middle of that street? He must have a deathwish...

Yes, there is definitely something on the left flank and its getting closer.
Its almost at the Jaguar beneath the tower. And there it comes! Ohh, its one of these scary maneaters. A Caliban.
Jesus! That was messy. That's another Jaguar of the payroll, good for the rest of us. Oh right, the looser with the big gun looks quite dead too.
Lets see if the Sin Eater is a match for the maneater. Looks good ... looks good ... but no. Ohhohoho, that looked cool. Did you see the guts of the Sin Eater slip down the tower? Look, look, they are still hanging there.
It seems the Shasvastii want that beacon there.
Uh uh, there is a CrazyKoala! Awwhh, the Caliban got him before our little friend could hug him to pieces.

Now it's the Grenzers turn. Show us some gore! ... He did take a picture? Seriously?
What was that flash? Did the Daktari get hit? She looks like she was blinded somehow. Wait a second, is that weird construct back there a remote?
Hey, the Caliban is dead!? No time to check how that happend, the Jaguar with deathwish threw a smoke granate. I think I saw a Moran in the smoke ... yes, there he is aaand ... what the fuck is he doing? He is sprinting to that beacon!?
Man these guys love these things more than there lives...

Uhh, the big one is moving again. And there is another one ... AND ANOTHER ONE! Woah, that doesn't look good for our troops. I think they will be granted their deathwishes.

WOW! DO YOU SEE THAT?
The Daktari got hit by a incendiary rocket right in her chest. She is burning like a human torch. Oh oh, she is stumbling backwards. Woo, now she is going down and beautifully shows us the guts of the Sean Eater in all the flaming colours! Spectacular!
Well, if you die, at least you can make a dramatic exit, right?

And there goes the Moran. I hope the beacon was worth it.
*Pfff* I guess the situation was too hot for our last Jaguar. *starts laughing*

The big one is advancing!
Man, the really love these beacons.
Woah, the remaining Grenzer and Wildcat got lucky there. They almost got incinerated too. But I think they did hurt the big one.

Soo, what will our remaining countrymen do? Will they throw their lives away for that beacon? Or will they just run away?

There is a Tomcat on the left flank. Uhh, he has a Panzerfaust.
Will there be flying Shasvastii pieces? ... *sighes* He missed. Big guns aren't really your things, eyy?

HOLY SHIT! They are actually storming the big one! All of them! Well, all three that is.
They got lucky again!? The big fellow is down at last and all three Nomads are still standing.

Well friends, I think we are coming to an end for todays show, since the still living troopers from both sides seem not interested in fighting anymore.
Yeah, they are withdrawing. We got some nice and nasty deaths there, don't you think? But now it is time to get back to our lives and out of

As I said, we didn't play often the last few years, so some of our 'strategies' might seem a little weird to you...

In the end we had Nomads 4 VP and 72 points left against Shasvastii 1 VP and112 points left.
