Durgama Takeover

Another very funny TTs match with an old acquaintance.
Atherakian, we have known each other for a long time and had the pleasure of playing together at various tournaments.
Distance and covid conditional this time over the TTs.
Unfortunately, Chris is not taking part in the campaign because “according to him” he is too lazy to write battle reports. 🙁
Nevertheless, we played and to cut a long story short, he gave me quite a beating 🙂
Chris is a really good Haq player and he showed me that once again. Since we wanted to have fun, I tried out something again and didn’t exactly play an optimised list. Sun Tze + 5 Wu Ming Core, that’s what I really wanted.
Chris had the following as far as I could get it together and played Vanilla.
Saladin Ltd, Al Hawwa Hacker, Barid Hacker, Asawira Spitfire with a Rafiq in duo, Suleika, Muktar with Redfury, Knauf, 2 Camo Daylami with Panzerfaust, Liberto, Muttawiàh with Boarding Shotgun, Flashpulsbot, a Hafza and a Fiday.
The map we chose was quite open, but ok.
Chris had Coup de Grace and I had Follow Up.
The game starts with the Ltd Roll 17 vs. 16 WP 🙂
Sun Tze immediately leads with a 20 and Chris wins.
He takes the 2nd turn and I set up first and get to start.
Set up is quick, the 5 link in the middle as close as possible to the room.
Sun Tze on the right together with the single Kuang Shi, Evo Bot, the Sophothek also in the middle a bit further back.
CG with smoke and the Uschi on the left.
Chris already distributes his people in the field, Knauf gets a really nice spot on the ship where he can also see a lot, but lies down.
He also puts the Daylami on the left flank and Hurra even manages to get them to see my Wu Ming right away, a bit stupid for me.
The Asawira duo in the middle, Muktar on the right together with his hackers. Flashpuls also in the middle directly opposite the door to the room. Suleika is still hanging around on the left. In the very back, hidden on the left and right, there is a Saladin.
And the Fiday of course comes over to me and sits down near Sun Tze in view of my 5 on the left.

Round 1 starts
He steals 2 orders from me and I start.
The CG smokes the Ushi, taking away the Daylami’s view of my link, and the Evo Bot buffs them to Ignore cover. OK my link
runs off, Fiday does nothing and I call a Discover. Failure :(.
Ok next command the link runs further towards the room, my hacker in BB contact with the door and Mutlirifle Wu actually discovers the Fiday.
Another command into the link, everything stops and I call a Discover Shoot on the FIday, now he wants to dodge but can’t and is shot dead. Ok, now the Uschi starts driving into the smoke and tries to discover the daylamies, all failures. Frustrated, the Uschi then unloads her anger on the poor Flashpulsbot and wipes him out. Then she stands opposite Knauf and the daylamies and goes into the suppressive fire.
Then my hacker opens the doors and the wuming with the light shotgun and the bazooka hops into the room, the rest stay outside. Train over.
It’s Chris’s turn, Knauf gets up and shoots my Uschi, then he shoots at my Wu Ming in the room, but he manages to dodge and hide.
The Asawira runs and executes my Wu Ming. Then the Muktar goes off and comes unhindered over the left flank and catches my hacker and retreats a little. Suleika drives forward but gets an Aro from my CG, but nothing happens. The Liberto just walks unhindered into the room and hangs there.
Round 1 over he scores. My good Japanese, or rather my Kuang Shi, runs off and comes quite close to the muktar with his Impetous order. Next order he comes around the corner directly towards the muktar. He dodges and the Kuang Shi steals a wound with his pistol :). Next order Kuang Shi shoots and the Muktar manages his dodge and goes into close combat with the Kuang Shi. Stupid for me. Sun Tze runs and shoots with his BS into the melee. It doesn’t matter who he hits, if the Kuang Shi is killed he still explodes. Sun Tze shoots with a 19 and 20 and kills the Kuang Shi completely. 🙁 The Muktar just looks on in amazement.
Ok, then Sun Tze again, this time he finishes off the Muktar quite drastically.
My Evo Bot still fires up Fairy Dust.
Next order my BS Wu Ming goes into the room, the Liberto does nothing and I go on and loot a crate and pull out a Mono CCW.
Move over. Suleika rides ahead dies but burns my Wu Ming completely.
The Asawira advances, so do his hackers and the Muttawiha stands against the room with his Jammer. Then he hacks over the advanced Rafiq Sun Tze but fails. Round over he scores again.
Last round. Sun Tze runs forward and gets in the back of the Asawira and the Rafiq and shoots them both with his template.
But unfortunately gets hacked and Imobilised and Isolated in the process. Great.
My Wuming HMG runs off and unfortunately has to mess with Knauf. Both shoot and both roll a crit. Then just again, Wu Ming dies. Ok the last Wu Ming hops into the room and dies in the Aro. Round over.
Chris doesn’t do anything big anymore, he loots another crate and ends the game victorious with 8:0.

It was a super funny game with many very funny situations.
It’s always great fun with Chris and he got his revenge for our last game. At the last tournament when we were both on the top table, I ran him over a bit with my double jotum list and won the tournament.
