Durgama Takeover

In the outskirts oft the Xiandao Neosteelworks, Zhōngwèi (Lieutnant) Chiang and her Team were getting into position, to examine a perimeter alert, reported from this location. On the right flank the Husong Yaokong total reaction drone stalked into position covered by some crates, next to the wall, were Chiang herself was taking cover. Some meters ahead of Chiang was the Zencha, behind a large rock. On the left flank the Chaiyi Yaokong flash pulse drone took a secured position behind an old excavator. She ordered the heavy link team tot he left side too, awaiting the arrival oft he unknown contacts behind a small warehouse. The Liu Xing trooper stayed in stand by in the shuttle, hovering above the terrain, ready to take action, when ordered.

(Objectives: In Extremis Recovery / Capture / Nanospionage – I discarded Nanospionage and got Kidnapping )

The moment the proximity sensor reacted, Chiang did so too. Opening the confrontation she ordered the link team forward. Rushing out from behind the warehouse. The team, lead by Lei Gong, encountered Edoros, myrmidon officer in some distance. A shootout between Lei Gong and Eudoros forced latter into cover, wounded. Since an Posthuman Proxy Mk. III, armed with a spitfire, covered Eidoros, Chiang ordered the link team tot he right flank. They moved and tried to discover the Camo Marker in the left midfield but Krit Kokram and Lei Gong were unsuccessful, so they moved closer to the enemy lines, shooting a Thorakite with a light rocket launcher in the midfield. Finally arriving at the far right flank, were a Posthuman Mk. II Hacker an Dart revealed themself to fire upon Krit Kokram, who was leading the link team. In a short (two orders enduring) firefight, Krit first eliminated Dart with a lucky shot and then took out the Posthuman Hacker with a well aimed shot. Last but not least Krit advanced further and send a Daikini with sniper rifle to the ground.

But now, it was the Enemy´s turn to react. The mighty silhouette of Ajax came out behind a hut on the right flank and charged directly towards the heavy link team. Despite massive fire and getting wounded, Ajax managed to take out Krit Kokram, followed by Tai Sheng (due to bad armor rolls on my side). Eudoros switched from the left flank to shoot Lei Gong from the distance, only tob be hit by a lucky shot from the Zuyong with the multi rifle, wich left Eudoros falling to the ground mortally wounded. Ajax engaged the multi rifle Zuyong, trying to shoot the combi rifle Zuyong on the way, but only managed to wound him. The Thorakites Engineer stepped foreward to „repair“ the Daikini Sniper. Finally the seemingly undetectable Camo Marker sneakedat toward the link team and revealed itself to scan the Combi Rifle Zuyong, but while beeing successful in the scan (and scoring Data Scan) the Naga was also shot in the Invincibles returning fire. (Ironically The new Objective was Test Run)

With the link team in bad shape, Chiang ordered the Liu Xing trooper into ction, who appeared at the outer right flank behind a low building. Moving foreward, he first shot a Dakini Paramedic and then moved to and around the hut, wich hid Ajax at the start of the confrontation to get into the back oft he EINFÜGEN Engineer and the Daikini Sniper. After a brief firefight, wich destroyed the Daikini and dropped the Thoralites Engineer, the Lui Xing stepped foreward and scored In Extremis Recovery on him.

As expected, Ajax finished off the Multi Rifle Zuyong and ran a cicrcle to get in the back of the Combi Rifle Zuyong. On the way the Zencha revealed himself to intercept him, but the Panzerfaust missed, while Ajax managed to wound the Zencha. Then Ajax charged the last Zuyong and while Ajax smashed the brave Invincible, the Zencha missed again. Now out of the Zenchas line of sight and unwilling to confront the Zenscha and the total reaction Drone, Ajax decided to move against the Liu Xing and managed to defeat him in close combat too. A Posthuman Proxy Mk. I Doctor moved behind Ajax to cover him, who was standing now right beside the hut, where he first appeared.

(Objectives: Mapping / Experimental Drug / Extreme Prejudice – I Discarded Extreme Prejudice and got Rescue)

Lieutnant Chiang saw herself forced to take action herself. She moved at the right side of the battlefield towards the enemy line, luckily surviving a shot from Ajax and the Posthuman doctor. THen, out of Ajax sight, but still threatened by the Posthuman, she risked a firefight and managed to bring the Mk I Doctor down. Now, with the way free, Chiang moved behind the hut (scoring mapping) and managed tho carbonite Ajax at the other side of the hut. (New Objective was Net Undermine)

(Objectives: Experimental drug / Rescue / Net undermine – My opponent discarded Rescue and got Sabotage)

Unable to escape the Carbonite Ajax was pretty useless and very angry now, the Posthuman Proxy Mk. III dashed towards the Yu Jing lines now on the outer left flank, reaching the Yu Jing half of the field to score Net undermine nearly with the last order.
