Mission: Biotechvor

I (Tohaa) won Lt roll and decided take first turn, Jordan had me deploy first

My Classifieds were Rescue, net-undermine, and identity check. All of which could be completed by Aleis

The game plan for this list was to have the Draal move up the board at the same time as my Chasa/Kaauri using coordinated orders and plant a Dazer or two and later join the Taqeul and kumotail’s duo. I wasn’t expecting much long range ARO given the circumstances of biotechvor, between my eclipse smoke and mirror ball pheroware advancing seemed pretty easy.

My Draal failed his forward deployment so he started in a triad with Taqeul and kumotail. Staramada placed a Epsilon HMG on the roof overlooking most of the table, the Epsilon was part of a fireteam core with Hector, parvati and two beta troopers.

Tohaa turn 1
Moving forward is too dangerous with epsilon on overwatch, Taqeul triad uses mirrorball to advance and fight the epsilon but I misjudged the range by less than an inch and end up FtF 5 dice on 4 vs 2 on 17 lucky no one takes damage. I attempt to push forward with the kriigle and reex only to realize that the cover I placed them behind is too tall for their silhouette 1 to vault, in the name of order efficiency I coordinated order reex and kotail long jump. Kotail loses wound to Epsilon HMG, reform kriigle triad and try and leave the zone but ran out of group two orders only one reex made it out. Sakiel spitfire triad moves through the the mirrorball placed by the kriigle, getting desperate Sakiel takes a fight with the epsilon in his bad range and crits on a 3! Epsilon goes down and Sakiel team moves up and sets up for ARO to slow down the Hector killteam.
Taqeul team moves deeper, also setting up for ARO on the killteam and Draal drops a Dazer.
The Chaskas, Kotail and the two Kaauri go unconscious to the biotechvor zone, Kriigle and Reex pass the save.

Starmada turn 1
One varangain took his impetuous stopping just short of the dazer field, the other varangain didn’t activate this turn and the law keeper used impetuous order to drive out of the zone. The now 4 person Hector killteam actives and with the betatrooper spitfire takes out the Makaul and sakiel in 3 orders, parvati picks up the. Epsilon moves towards the taqeul and dazer while the rest of the team scales the terrain as the epsilon fires at the taqeul who passes an insane amount of armor saves throughout the turn (8 I think, I lost count). After the taqeul triad and heckor killteam exchange many more shots the turn ends with the hector killteam barely making it out of the zone due to the dazer and overly stubborn symbio armor eating up orders, only managing to take a wound on the Draal while also taking out the kumotail.
One varangain, Oko bot and raveneye fall to the biotechvor zone.

Tohaa turn 2
Using the Lieutenant order the Tapeul attempts a pheroware endgame attack at Hector but between the tinbot and his high BTS it doesn’t deal damage. Reex K1 attempts to take out Hector but fails and goes down to the epsilon. Aelis takes on the epsilon and wins but can’t complete any classifieds with the orders left.
