Durgama Takeover

After throwing off their Pan0 assailants it was time to form the salient pocket properly, cut off CA aggressors and crush them.

Deploying on the left flank the Unknown ranger took the lead of his Varangian, Patcher and Strannik core, together with the Technical support haris and the Chernoborg they formed the left claw to encircle and cut the CA forces, on the right flank the Raveneye guide along with the Zenit-7 commander and the logistics Irmandinho formed the defensive bastion against cowardly CA.

The Bearpode took up position in the center ready to demolish the CAs position.

Turn 1 saw the Technical Haris laying some mines along the left flank to protect from advances with the unknown rangers core forming to a better position. The bearpode move up the center of the table in preparation to strike out. Chernoborg moved up and lay some withering fire down range damaging a kritok and forcing some enemy troopers in to cover before falling back in to superior entrenchments.

Opponents turn 2 saw their vile deviancy in full affect as a noriakis became an impersonator, and moved up the table to kill the bear in deceitful combat. retribution was achieved by the Chernoborg as it incinerated the foul creature in purifying flame. Not before the corrupt alien powers could hack the might Ariadnarian systems and control was taken!
Damage of this deceit was mitigated by strategically placed EM mines only losing the Mekhanik before turning offline.
A Caliban took advantage of this distraction by slaughtering the poor Irmandinho in melee.

My Turn 2 a reckoning had to be made and CA were to answer for their crimes! The Unknown Ranger valiantly pushed forward striking down one of the strange alien remotes and one alien pet ghaki that seems to follow the CA to war. Taking it upon himself to secure the salient for Ariadna the Unknown ranger preceded to send forth a withering storm of firepower felling one of the mighty CAT robotic commanders often referred to as “avatars”. Before pushing up to remove the Alien support echelons.

Opponents turn 2 The aliens responding to the threat that had pushed its way in to their rear turned to react to the threat with an imertron and a taiga removing the Unknown Ranger from his glorious advance but dying as they did so. The rest of the Alien forces hunkered down entrenched and ready to strike.

My turn 3 saw the Strannik and patcher racing to claim the mission objectives in the field and wrest them from the clutches of the foul aliens. The Zenit-7 managed to remove Kritok from its position with the power of its mighty Marksman Rifle.

Opponents turn 3 saw the aliens in retreat and desperate to achieve their immediate goals. Pushing forward with their deceitful camouflage trickery they managed to hold one of their key objectives and contest another together with some nefarious secret objective they won the fight.

While it was an initial loss for Ariadna at 3-4 the retreat means that the noble Ariadnarian forces will be able to push forward and complete the salient and crush the alien threat!
