Durgama Takeover

With Ariadnas position within the Starboard battery looking precarious due to recent CA advances, a break through mission was planned to form a spearhead and strike the CA in their foothold, cutting off their reinforcements and trapping the remaining forces in a salient pocket. Unfortunately this coincided at the same time as PanOcean forces attempted the same maneuver.

Ariadnarian forces moving with the knowledge of the importance of their mission struck first, winning the initiative of a Critical 13. Deployment forces rolled out with the Unknown Ranger, Patcher, 2 Varangians and a Strannik core link team taking up positions on the left flank, intending to use the bulk of the buildings to cover their advance on to Pan0 positions.
On the right flank liaison officer and local guide Raveneye deployed on top of a building securing the Ariadnarian operational area with an E/M mine. Behind him a technical operations Haris deployed with a Mekhanik, Wardriver Hacker and Rokot LT to provide electronic warfare and C&C functions. Beneath them the Polaris team deployed with GySgt Mr. FLuffykins being designated as the Master Breacher alongside “Svoloch Babushka” a Chernoborg. The logistical section deployed on the far right flank in the form of an Irmandino and Warcor.
In the center table a Zenit-7 set up to watch and make any corrections to the battle.

Turn 1 saw the Chernoborg forcing a Peacemaker in to better cover, allowing the bearpode to utilize its extra movement and advance on the peacemaker. After passing 2 armoursaves the bearpode engaged in melee and knocked the peacemaker unconscious. However the bearpode got spotlit. The Bearpode advanced and threw a smoke grenade in order to engage in melee with an Aquilla without being shot by DZ incidentals. The aquilla did manage to shoot the bear as it advanced in to melee but the bears armor was to great to be pierced by such paltry bullets, the bear preceeded to kill and coup de grace the aquilla before tucking back in to cover.
The Unknown Rangers Core moved up a little bit.
The Chernoborg moved up and shot at and knocked unconscious a Bolt Sniper before moving back in to safer cover.

My opponents turn 1 was spend stabilizing his position, recovering the Bolt Sniper and attempting to hack the Chernoborg however due to comm interference this was unsuccessful.

Turn 2 the bearpode climbed the central building to kill the hacker that had attempted to control the chernoborg, and kill them.
The Unknown ranger moved up in to poor range for the Sniper engaging in a protracted duel that killed: The sniper, a Bipandra, Auxillas Aux bot and a guided missile bot.
The Chernoborg moved up the table around the right flank and killed a Bolt Paramedic and a Fugazi flashpulse bot earning the logistics team some breathing room.

Opponents Turn 2 was spent stabilizing and reforming links with Uma Sorensen managing to kill the Chernoborg and the Unknown Ranger with her Breaker Combi.

Turn 3 it was time for the operations specialists to take their objectives with the Irmandino activating and claiming 1 Antenna, the Strannik Doctor activating the other and a Varangian Guard taking the central objective. The Patcher took vengeance for her team leader by Spec Firing a grenade and having Uma burn to death. A Varangian Guard died after valiantly beserking in to a Bolt Hacker.

Opponents Turn 3 he managed to take out the Patcher whos flamethrower took all those that opposed her to hell. And the Bolt hacker moving to contest the Stranniks objective.

In the end Ariadna took the field with a mighty 8 – 0.
