Darpan (“Mirror”) is the same secret as the Knightly Order of PanOceania. Despite the fact that the secret research center “Mirror” is a joint initiative of O-12 and Darpan Corporation (Pan Ocean Food and Genetics Research Company), there is a third party in this initiative, no less mysterious to us – Aleph, which completely controls the course the entire work of the research center.
Lately the activity at the station, which has not been declared anywhere, has increased. Huge containers with unknown contents regularly arrive at the research center on Aleph ships. Also, Aleph closed several levels “For Personal Use” and what is happening there, neither O-12 nor PanOceania knows. In this regard, yesterday, at 19:00, an advance detachment of Darpan Co. was sent to the station. in order to establish the nature of the unknown activity.

Thanks to intelligence from Darpan Co. the initiative was on the side of PanOceania, which made it possible, as we thought, to reach the station unnoticed and deploy our forces on its territory. However, we are dealing with Aleph – AI, which calculates everything hundreds of steps ahead and probably knows about our arrival, which, in the future, will negatively affect our operation, but more on that later.
We were able to gain access to the station thanks to our operatives Locust (Hacker). Literally a minute and a half after arrival, we were ready for resistance from the Aleph security system.
Our group consisted of the command staff in the person of two Fusiliers, two cover snipers (Nisse MULTI Sniper and Karhu Feuerbach), the main strike group in the person of Knight Hospitaller (x2) and Agnes Ferreira, several reconnaissance, non-combat (Fugazi) and combat (Peacemaker) drones , an engineer (Curator + Palbot), a hacker (Locust) and two escorts (Beasthunter Minelayer and Liang Kai).
Part of the approaches to us was mined, snipers also controlled the situation.

— [ First stage of operation ]
Unexpectedly for us, sniper fire was opened on reconnaissance drones (Fugazi), the source of which was quite difficult to establish from the first seconds. One of the drones was withdrawn immediately. Our Nisse sniper determined the location of the enemy firing point, and also managed to identify the shooter. It was quite a serious opponent for us – Knauf. Nisse managed to force the enemy sniper to hide with suppressive return fire, however, as a result, Nisse was wounded and also forced to take cover. After that, the enemy sniper again methodically began to turn off our reconnaissance drones, which he eventually succeeded in doing. All Fugazi were destroyed. Pleased with only one thing – we had engineers to repair them.
Our problems didn’t end there. Beasthunter, who was mining the approaches to our group from the left side of the station, as well as Locust, who was supposed to provide access to closed areas, faced an even more serious threat from Aleph. Suddenly, the door behind them blew air, hissed, and opened. A huge figure appeared from it, it was the commander of the Aleph unit – Ajax. He rushed to Beasthunter, but he only miraculously managed to dodge, having heard the impending threat. Locust, without a moment’s hesitation, attempted to gain access to Ajax’s armor and cut him off from communication with the rest of the Aleph group. Which, unfortunately, was not successful.
The enemy’s next strike was more accurate and brought down the Beasthunter. His body, without signs of life, fell to the floor of the station. Locust was the next target. Ajax rushed towards him, to which the hacker raised his rifle and fired several shots from his Breaker Combi Rifle towards Ajax, without causing him significant damage. An enemy hammer flew out of the Locust’s smoke, pinning the hacker to the floor. The operative was lying against the wall, also showing no signs of life.
After receiving some information via radio, apparently regarding our engineers, Ajax rushed to our engineering unit. However, this goal was not so simple for Aleph. Curator mined the approaches to his location in advance, which took Ajax by surprise. Mines only slightly delayed the unenviable fate of our engineer. A few minutes after Aleph gained access to the engineering room, several shots were heard and then the Curator stopped communicating, and the Palbot next to one of the Fugazis was disabled. We no longer had the ability to repair our reconnaissance drones and were left to rely only on our own strength.
At this time, one of the snipers of the cover group, having heard the sounds of battle on the lower levels of the station, moved the sight of his rifle in the direction of the sounds, switching his Multispectral Visor to motion detection mode. However, Karhu saw nothing but the lifeless bodies of Svalarheim’s operatives. A second later, the silhouette of Ajax appeared on the roof of the engineering building. He was wounded, as evidenced by the stream of blood flowing down his armor. Apparently, the mines of the engineering detachment still got him. Ajax swiftly jumped off the roof onto a nearby container of alien culture samples. Karhu switched his weapon to armor-piercing mode and fired some well-aimed shots. Ajax remained on the container and no longer showed signs of life. Thus, we deprived Aleph of one of the commanders-in-chief, however, Shukra still remained.
At the same time, the second, wounded Nisse sniper noticed movement on the tower in the center of the room and fired several well-aimed shots towards the target. It was Proxy Mk.4 (Missile Launcher). By the beginning of our operation, the enemy managed to pull up heavy weapons, which, fortunately, did not have time to fire even once. Proxy lay without movement.

Immediately afterwards, the enemy made a desperate but successful regrouping attempt, deploying their Thorakities medic to the Proxy Mk.4. Under heavy fire from our sniper, the enemy medic managed to reanimate Aleph’s heavy weapons, but he himself was defeated.
The enemy sniper, having picked up a good moment, appeared from behind cover and fired several shots at Nisse, and then at Karhu. Nisse managed to hide behind cover, but Karhu was not so lucky. One of the shells nevertheless hit the sniper of the cover group, from which he fell behind the roof railing.
Naturally, because we were on the territory of the secret Darpan station, access to some of its levels had a very limited circle of people, and therefore, our team also included HVT, which the enemy gladly took advantage of. In the heat of battle, our strike team noticed a shadow flicker through the window of one of the Mirror buildings. A minute later, by radio, our HVT managed to transmit several abrupt phrases, from which it became clear that he had been subjected to a hacker attack by Proxy Mk.2 (Hacker), after which he completely stopped communicating.
Agnes Ferreira and two Knight Hospitallers immediately advanced towards the HVT and the suspected enemy target.
At this time, on the left flank of the research center, Liang Kai was already moving deep behind enemy lines. His path led to a portable command center, which he noticed not far from the two-story building on the territory of the research center. As it turned out, this was a great idea, because. the remaining commander of the Aleph group, Shukra, was located in the command post. The Monk’s target was eliminated without delay, but along the way he noticed some kind of ripple in the air, which immediately disappeared (it turned out to be Liberto, who had been sitting in ambush all the time). After eliminating the commander, in several large jumps he climbed onto the nearest building, on which the enemy forces were located, represented by Proxy Mk.1 (Engineer) and the Lamedh Rebot bot. They were also eliminated without any serious resistance on their part.

By this stage of the operation, the Agnes group had already advanced deep enough on the right flank of the station and came close to the site of the intended attack on the HVT, killing a Proxy Mk.4 raised by an enemy medic along the way. Despite all caution, the group was also hacked, which, however, did not cause serious physical damage, but most of the data from our communicators was stolen. At the same moment, from behind the corner of the building, which was located to the right of the alleged building in which the Proxy Mk.2 was located, a heavy fire from Dart fell on the group, which resulted in the death of one of the knights. The rest of the group made an attempt to hide behind the nearest cover. At the same time, the Peacemaker was rapidly advancing to the aid of our group, which was taken by surprise by enemy forces. When our combat drone was already as close as possible to the alleged enemy, the enemy sniper, who by that time had already managed to redeploy, took down one of the drones with a well-aimed shot and attempted to eliminate the rest of the strike group. Unfortunately we lost Agnes in this attempt, but Knauf’s sniper was killed by return fire from the Knight Hospitaller.
Just as it seemed to us that we were regaining control of the situation, an enemy paratrooper Garuda landed in our rear. However, it was detected in advance by the sensors of our combat Peacemaker, pinned to the ground with several shotgun shots and finished off with a coup de grace.
Unfortunately, we lost the initiative and understood that the situation was getting out of control. The command decided to retreat for further regrouping, combat analysis and return with larger forces in order to regain control over the station.

Дарпан («Зеркало») – такая же тайна, как и Рыцарский орден ПанОкеании. Ни смотря на то, что тайный иследовательский центр «Зеркало» является совместной инициативой O-12 и Darpan Corporation (ПанОкеанская компания по исследованию пищевых продуктов и генетики) в этой инициативе есть третья, не мене загадочная для нас сторона – Алеф, который полностью контролирует ход всей работы исследовательского центра.
Последнее время на станции увеличилась незадекларированная нигде активность. В исследовательский центр на кораблях Алеф регулярно пребывают огромные контейнеры с неизвестным содержимым. Также, Алеф закрыл несколько уровней «Для Личного пользования» и что там происходит, не ведает ни О-12 ни ПанОкеания. В связи с этим, вчера, в 19:00 на станцию был направлен передовой отряд Darpan Co. с целью установления природы неизвестной активности.

Благодаря разведданным Darpan Co. инициатива была на стороне ПанОкеании, что позволило незаметно, как мы думали, добраться до станции и расположить свои силы на её территории. Однако, мы имеем дело с Алеф – ИИ, который просчитывает все на сотни шагов вперед и наверняка знает о нашем прибытии, что, в дальнейшем, негативно скажется на нашей операции, но об этом позже.
Доступ на станцию мы смогли получить благодаря нашим оперативникам Locust (Hacker). Уже буквально через полторы минуты после прибытия мы были готовы к сопротивлению со стороны охранной системы Алеф.
Наша группа состояла из командного состава в лице двух Fusilier, двух снайперов прикрытия (Nisse MULTI Sniper и Karhu Feuerbach), основной ударной группы в лице Knight Hospitaller (х2) и Agnes Ferreira, несколько разведывательных, небоевых (Fugazi) и боевых (Peacemaker) дронов, инженера (Curator + Palbot), хакера (Locust) и двух бойцов сопровождения (Beasthunter Minelayer и Liang Kai).
Часть подходов к нам была заминирована, снайперы также контролировали обстановку.

— [ Первый этап операции ]
Неожиданно для нас по дронам разведки (Fugazi) был открыт снайперский огонь, источник которого было достаточно сложно установить с первых секунд. Один из дронов был выведен сразу же. Наш Nisse-снайпер определил местоположение огневой точки противника, а также удалось установить личность стрелявшего. Это был достаточно серьёзный для нас противник – Knauf. Ответным огнем на подавление Nisse удалось заставить скрыться вражеского снайпера, однако в результате Nisse была ранена и также вынуждена укрыться. После чего, вражеский снайпер снова методично принялся отключать наших разведывательных дронов, что ему, в конечном итоге – удалось. Все Fugazi были уничтожены. Радовало лишь одно – у нас были инженеры для их ремонта.
На этом, наши проблемы не закончились. Beasthunter, который занимался минированием подходов к нашей группе с левой стороны станции, а также Locust, который должен был обеспечить доступ к закрытым помещениям – столкнулись с ещё-более серьезной угрозой со стороны Алеф. Неожиданно дверь за их спиной стравила воздух, зашипела и открылась. Из нее показалась огромная фигура, это был командующий подразделения Алеф – Ajax. Он ринулся к Beasthunter, однако тот лишь чудом успел увернуться, услышав надвигающуюся угрозу. Locust, не медля ни секунды, попытался получить доступ к броне Ajax и отрезать его от связи с остальной группой Алеф. Что, к сожалению, не возымело успеха.
Cледующий удар врага был более точным и поверг Beasthunter. Его тело без признаков жизни упало на пол станции. Locust был следующей целью. Ajax бросился в его сторону, на что хакер вскинул винтовку и сделал несколько выстрелов из своей Breaker Combi Rifle в сторону Ajax, не нанеся ему существенных повреждений. Из дыма Locust вылетел молот врага, пригвоздив хакера к полу. Оперативник лежал у стены, также не подавая признаков жизни.
Получив какую-то информацию по радиосвязи, по-видимому, касающуюся наших инженеров, Ajax ринулся к нашему инженерному подразделению. Однако, эта цель оказалась для Алеф не столь простой. Curator заблаговременно заминировал подходы к своему местоположению, что застало Ajax врасплох. Мины лишь слегка оттянули незавидную участь нашего инженера. Через несколько минут после того, как Алеф получил доступ к инженерной комнате, послышалось несколько выстрелов и затем Curator перестал выходить на связь, а Palbot рядом с одним из Fugazi был отключен. У нас больше не было возможности отремонтировать наших разведывательных дронов и оставалось полагаться только на свои силы.
В это время, один из снайперов группы прикрытия, услышав звуки битвы на нижних уровнях станции перевел прицел своей винтовки по направлению звуков, переключив свой Multispectral Visor в режим обнаружения движения. Однако, ничего кроме бездыханных тел оперативников Свалархеймы Karhu не увидел. Секунду спустя на крыше инженерного здания показался силуэт Ajax. Он был ранен, о чем свидетельствовала струя крови, стекающая по его броне. Видимо, мины инженерного отряда его всё-таки достали. Ajax стремительно спрыгнул с крыши на соседний контейнер с образцами инопланетных культур. Karhu переключил оружие на бронебойный режим и сделал несколько метких выстрелов. Ajax остался на контейнере и больше не подавал признаков жизни. Тем самым, мы лишили Алеф одного из главнокомандующих, однако, по-прежнему оставался Shukra.
Одновременно с этим второй, раненый снайпер Nisse заметила движение на башне в центре комнаты и сделала несколько метких выстрелов в сторону цели. Это был Proxy Mk.4 (Missile Launcher). К началу нашей операции противник успел подтянуть тяжелое вооружение, которое, к счастью, не успело выстрелить ни разу. Proxy лежал без движения.

— [ Второй этап операциии ]
Сразу же после этого, противник предпринял отчаянную, однако успешную попытку перегруппировки, перебросив своего медика Thorakities на подмогу Proxy Mk.4. Под плотным огнем нашего снайпера, вражеский медик успел реанимировать тяжелое вооружение Алеф, однако сам был повержен.
Вражеский снайпер, подобрав удачный момент, показался из-за укрытия и сделал несколько выстрелов в Nisse, а затем в Karhu. Nisse успела спрятаться за укрытием, однако Karhu повезло меньше. Один из снарядов всё-таки угодил в снайпера группы прикрытия, от чего тот упал за ограждение крыши.
Естественно, т.к. мы были на территории секретной станции Дарпан, допуск к некоторым из её уровней имел очень ограниченный круг лиц, в связи с чем, в состав нашей команды также входил HVT, чем с радостью воспользовался противник. В пылу битвы наша ударная группа заметила, как в окне одного из зданий «Зеркала» промелькнула тень. Минуту спустя, по радиосвязи наш HVT успел передать несколько отрывистых фраз, из которых стало понятно, что он подвергся хакерской атаке Proxy Mk.2 (Hacker), после которой и вовсе перестал выходить на связь.
Agnes Ferreira и двое Knight Hospitaller немедленно выдвинулись в сторону HVT и предполагаемой вражеской цели.
В это время, на левом фланге исследовательского центра Liang Kai уже продвигался глубоко в тыл противника. Его путь лежал к портативному командному центру, который он заметил недалеко от двухэтажной постройки на территории исследовательского центра. Как оказалось – это было отличной идеей, т.к. в командном пункте расположился оставшийся командир группы Алеф – Shukra. Цель Монаха была устранена без промедления, однако по пути он заметил какую-то рябь в воздухе, которая тут же исчезла (ей оказался Liberto, который все время сидел в засаде). После устранения командира, за несколько крупных прыжков он забрался на ближайшее здание, на котором располагались силы противника, в лице Proxy Mk.1 (Engineer) и бота Lamedh Rebot. Они также были устранены без какого-либо серьёзного сопротивления с их стороны.

— [ Третий этап операции ]
К этому этапу операции, группа Agnes продвинулась уже достаточно глубоко на правом фланге станции и вплотную приблизилась к месту предполагаемой атаки на HVT, по пути убив поднятого вражеским медиком Proxy Mk.4. Ни смотря на всю осторожность, группа также подверглась хакерской атаке, которая, однако, не нанесла серьезного физического ущерба, но бОльшая часть данных с наших коммуникаторов была украдена. В этот же момент из-за угла постройки, которая находилась правее от предполагаемого здания, в котором расположился Proxy Mk.2, на группу обрушился шквальный огонь Dart, результатом которого стала смерть одного из рыцарей. Оставшаяся часть группы предприняла попытку спрятаться за ближайшим укрытием. Одновременно с этим Peacemaker стремительно продвигался на помощь нашей группе, которую застали врасплох силы противника. Когда наш боевой дрон уже был максимально близко к предполагаемому противнику, вражеский снайпер, который к тому времени уже успел передислоцироваться, метким выстрелом уложил одного из дронов и предпринял попытку ликвидировать оставшуюся часть ударной группы. К сожалению, в этой попытке мы потеряли Agnes, однако ответным огнем Knight Hospitaller снайпер Knauf был убит.
Как только нам стало казаться, что мы снова возвращаем ситуацию под свой контроль, в нашем тылу приземлился вражеский десантник Garuda. Однако, был заблаговременно обнаружен сенсорами нашего боевого Peacemaker, прижат к земле несколькими выстрелами дробовика и добит coup de grace.
К сожалению, мы потеряли инициативу и понимали, что ситуация выходит из под контроля. Командованием было принято решение отступить для дальнейшей перегруппировки, боевого анализа и возвращения с более крупными силами, дабы восстановить контроль над станцией.
