At approximately 13:15 local time, several unmarked objects were seen on the radar of the Ravenai’s detection system, with identification devices disabled. They were rapidly approaching the battery on the starboard side of the ship.
Against the backdrop of recent events, after several unsuccessful attempts at communication, it was decided to eliminate the objects. Several of them were shot down by the first volleys of onboard guns, but most of them reached the ship. 8 minutes after that, communication with the battery compartment, as well as any ability to control it remotely, was completely lost.
In this regard, Svalarheima’s forward rapid reaction detachment was sent to the battery compartment of Ravenai, which was assigned several main tasks:
1) Find out the nature of the objects that entered the ship
2) Eliminate hostile objects, if possible – take prisoners
3) Get a foothold in the battery compartment and re-establish contact with the Bow Section of the ship..
4) Wait for the arrival of the main engineering group for a full repair of the compartment.

Svalarheima’s team, consisting of three battle groups, stopped briefly in front of the battery bay airlock. Agnes Ferreira connected to the gate console and a few seconds later the doors swung open. The lighting of the compartment was partially turned off, most of the room was smoky, which also had a negative effect on visibility. The initiative was on our side, in connection with which the group hastily set about organizing combat points for further advancement deep into the compartment.
The first sub-detachment, consisting of Boyg Soldier and Agnes Ferreira, under the command of Shona Carano, quickly occupied the left flank of the batteries.
The second sub-detachment, consisting of two Knight Hospitaliers, under the command of Richard Quinn, began to strengthen on the right flank.
Also, in the central part of the compartment, a command post of two Fusiliers and a sniper point represented by the Karhu Special Group were organized.
Since we did not know the location of the potential enemy forces, several support drones consisting of three Fugazi Dronbots, as well as one Peacemaker combat drone, were sent for reconnaissance. On the left flank, the bots were accompanied by Liang Kai.

Suddenly, through the dense smokescreen, Richard Quinn’s multispectral visor detected movement. One well-aimed shot and a booming blow of the body against the metal floor of the ship was heard in the compartment. Quinn shot down one of the members of the enemy task force – Irmandinhos. From that moment on, we understood that we were dealing with Ariadne, but what their goal was, we did not know.
At the same moment, in the darkness of the central compartment, we noticed several figures rapidly approaching our group. A shrill growl echoed through the ship’s compartment and Polaris Bearpode smashed our Peacemaker with its hammer. At the same time, heavy machine-gun fire fell on several Fugazi.
The enemy was ready for our arrival. He knew exactly at what moment and where our subgroups were located. Simultaneously with the attack on the central direction, a signal was received by radio about contact on the left flank of the compartment.
With a difference of a few seconds, Uxia McNeill appeared in front of our Liang Kai and immediately delivered several swift blows. Shaolin Monk’s trained intuition allowed him to avoid a fatal blow and counterattack the enemy, however, if anyone else had been in his place, the clash would have ended at the same second, and not in our favor. With a well-aimed blow of the spear, Liang Kai struck down his opponent and began to move deeper into the compartment.
To support our forces in the central part of the batteries, a detachment of Knight Hospitalier and Richard Quinn was thrown from the right flank.
Activating his Multispectral Visor, Karhu set about clearing a path for our squad. With several well-aimed hits from expansive projectiles, our sniper managed to wound the Polaris Bearpode. A shrill growl sounded through the compartment again, the bear disappeared behind the cargo containers that filled the entire room.
With the next shot, Karhu managed to eliminate the enemy The Unknown Ranger and several Varangian Guards. The central grouping of the enemy was pinned down by dense sniper fire, which allowed our detachment from the right flank to gain a foothold in the center without hindrance.
At the same moment, the Shona Carano detachment proceeded to exit behind enemy lines.

The enemy, despite the dense fire from our side, also had several trump cards in store. When most of our detachment advanced deep into the ship, Ariadne’s landing force Sergent Duroc and his companion Lieutenant Margot Berthier were seen in our rear.
The main landing forces attacked our command center. Margot Berthier knocked out one of the Fugazis covering the approaches to the commander, which allowed Sergent Duroc to enter the room unhindered and attempt to kill our lieutenant. A few shotgun blasts and Duroc took down one of our Fusiliers defending command. The lieutenant, on the other hand, managed to avoid death by deftly hiding behind the nearest cover.
Deciding to save the last Fusilier for last, Sergent Duroc set about removing our sniper cover, which he successfully succeeded in doing. Jumping onto the roof of the command center, he eliminated Karhu with lightning speed and entrenched himself in the rear of our central group. A few more well-aimed shotgun blasts and we lost our Richard Quinn.
Because the central part of the enemy detachment was pressed into cover, the rest of our Knight Hospitalier detachment made an attempt to escape from the fire and eliminate the paratrooper, which was inconvenient for us. The knights maneuvered, advanced to the right side of the compartment, and eliminated Sergent Duroc with several machine gun bursts, however, another threat awaited the Hospitalier.
Behind them, literally out of thin air, another figure appeared, which immediately opened suppressive fire. The sturdy armor of the Knight Hospitalier has withstood several serious hits. Quickly regrouping, one of the knights drew his sword and, diving under the arm of the enemy, swiftly dealt him a mortal blow. The S.A.S crashed to the floor as the knights continued their advance deeper into the ship.
At the same time, a local battle was unfolding on the left flank. Moving far into the compartment, Liang Kai reached one of the enemy Warcors. Knocking it out with a powerful blow of the spear, the monk was able to quietly sneak up on Polaris Bearpode’s partner – Polaris Controller. For the enemy, everything ended very quickly.
The group under the command of Shona Carano successfully entrenched itself in the rear of the enemy’s central detachment. A few well-aimed shots from the Boyg flare gun destroyed the rest of the Varangian Guard and finally pinned the Polaris Bearpode among the cargo containers. Because it was not possible to eliminate Bearpode from the group’s current position, Shona decided to get close to the enemy and destroy him in hand-to-hand combat.

The remaining few, according to our calculations, enemy forces attempted to counterattack our groups on several fronts simultaneously. On the right flank of the battery compartment, William Wallace appeared with a deft movement behind one of our Knight Hospitaliers. Unfortunately, his blow was fatal for one of our knights. In response, the remaining Knight Hospitalier Paramedic unloaded the entire load of his MULTI Rifle into Wallace and, it must be said, this was a success. William was defeated.
Also, an attack attempt was made on Liang Kai, however, this time luck was on his side. The enemy was defeated, which marked the final victory of our detachment in the battle.
It must be said that this battle seriously shattered our strength, however, it did not break our spirit.
The rest of the detachment entrenched itself in the battery compartment, communication with the head of the ship was restored. We were preparing for a meeting of allied reinforcements and, possibly, for a new skirmish with the enemy.

Примерно в 13:15 по местному времени на радарах системы обнаружения корабля Равенай, было замечено несколько объектов без опознавательных знаков, с отключенными устройствами идентификации. Они стремительно приближались к батарее правого борта корабля.
На фоне последних событий, после нескольких неудачных попыток связи, было принято решение ликвидировать объекты. Несколько из них удалось сбить первыми залпами бортовых орудий, однако большая их часть достигла корабля. Спустя 8 минут после этого связь с батарейным отсеком, а также любая возможность управлять им дистанционно.- была полностью утрачена.
В связи с этим, в батарейный отсек Равеная был направлен передовой отряд быстрого реагирования Свалархеймы, которому было поставлено несколько основных задач:
1) Выяснить природу объектов, проникших на корабль
2) Устранить враждебные объекты, по возможности – взять пленных
3) Закрепиться в батарейном отсеке и восстановить связь с Bow Section корабля..
4) Ожидать прибытия основной инженерной группы для полноценного ремонта отсека.

Команда Свалархеймы, в составе трех боевых групп ненадолго остановилась перед шлюзом батарейного отсека. Agnes Ferreira подключилась к консоли ворот и через несколько секунд двери распахнулись. Освещение отсека было частично отключено, большая часть комнаты была задымлена, что также негативно сказывалось на видимости. Инициатива была на нашей стороне в связи с чем группа спешно приступила к организации боевых точек для дальнейшего продвижения вглубь отсека.
Первый подотряд, в составе Boyg Soldier и Agnes Ferreira, под командованием Shona Carano оперативно занял левый фланг батарей.
Второй подотряд, в составе двух Knight Hospitalier, под командованием Richard Quinn приступили к укреплению на правом фланге.
Также, в центральной части отсека был организован командный пункт из двух Fusilier и снайперская точка в лице Karhu Special Group.
Так как расположение сил потенциального врага нам известно не было, на разведку было направлено несколько дронов поддержки в составе трех Fugazi Dronbots, а также один боевой дрон Peacemaker. На левом фланге ботов сопровождал Liang Kai.

— [ Первый этап операции ]
Неожиданно, сквозь плотную дымовую завесу, мультиспектральный визор Richard Quinnзафиксировал движение. Один меткий выстрел и по отсеку раздался гулкий удар тела о металлический пол корабля. Quinn подстрелил одного из членов оперативного отряда врага – Irmandinhos. С этого момента мы понимали, что имеем дело с Ариадной, но какова была их цель – нам небыло известно.
В эту же секунду, в темноте центрального отсека мы заметили несколько фигур, стремительно приближавшихся к нашей группе. Эхом по отсеку корабля раздался пронзительный рык и Polaris Bearpode разнес молотом нашего Peacemaker. В эту же секунду на нескольких Fugazi обрушился плотный пулемётный огонь.
Враг был готов к нашему прибытию. Он точно знал,в какой момент и где располагаются наши подотряды. Одновременно с атакой на центральном направлении, по радиосвязи был получен сигнал о контакте на левом фланге отсека.
С разницей в несколько секунд перед нашим Liang Kai возникла фигура Uxia McNeill и тут же нанесла несколько стремительных ударов. Тренированное чутьё Shaolin Monk позволило ему избежать смертельного удара и контратаковать противника, однако, будь на его месте кто-либо другой – столкновение закончилось бы в ту же секунду, причем, не в нашу пользу. Метким ударом копья Liang Kai сразил своего соперника и принялся к продвижению вглубь отсека.
Для поддержания наших сил на центральной части батарей, с правого фланга был брошен отряд Knight Hospitalier и Richard Quinn.
Активировав свой Multispectral Visor, Karhu приступил к расчистке дороги для нашего отряда. Несколькими меткими попаданиями экспансивных снарядов, нашему снайперу удалось ранить Polaris Bearpode.По отсеку снова раздался пронзительный рык, медведь скрылся за грузовыми контейнерами, коими был заставлена вся комната.
Следующим выстрелом Karhu удалось ликвидировать вражеского The Unknown Ranger и нескольких Varangian Guard. Центральная группировка врага была прижата плотным снайперским огнем, что позволило беспрепятственно закрепиться в центре нашему отряду с правого фланга.
В этот же момент, отряд Shona Carano приступил к выходу в тыл противника.

— [ Второй этап операции ]
У противника, ни смотря на плотный огонь с нашей стороны, было также припасено несколько козырей. Когда большая часть нашего отряда продвинулась вглубь корабля, в нашем тылу был замечен десант Ариадны – Sergent Duroc и его спутница Lieutenant Margot Berthier.
Основные силы десанта атаковали наш командный центр. Margot Berthier вырубила одного из Fugazi, прикрывавшего подступы к командиру, что позволило Sergent Duroc беспрепятственно проникнуть в комнату и предпринять попытку убить нашего лейтенанта. Несколько выстрелов из дробовика и Duroc уложил одного из наших Fusilier, защищавшего командование. Лейтенанту же, удалось избежать смерти, ловко скрывшись за ближайшим укрытием.
Решив оставить последнего Fusilier напоследок, Sergent Duroc принялся устранять наше снайперское прикрытие, что ему успешно удалось. Запрыгнув на крышу командного центра, он молниеносно ликвидировал Karhu и закрепился в тылу нашей центральной группы. Еще несколько метких выстрелов дробовика и мы потеряли нашего Richard Quinn.
Т.к. центральная часть отряда противника была прижата в укрытии, оставшаяся часть нашего отряда Knight Hospitalier предприняла попытку уйти из под огня и устранить неудобного для нас десантника. Рыцари совершили маневр, продвинулись в правую часть отсека, и несколькими очередями из пулемёта ликвидировали Sergent Duroc, однако, Hospitalier поджидала другая угроза.
За их спинами, буквально из воздуха возникла еще одна фигура, которая без промедления открыла огонь на подавление. Крепкая броня Knight Hospitalier выдержала несколько серьёзных попаданий. Быстро перегруппировавшись, один из рыцарей выхватил меч и, нырнув под руку противника, стремительно нанес ему смертельный удар. S.A.S рухнул на пол, а рыцари продолжили продвижение вглубь корабля.
В это же время, на левом фланге разворачивался свой локальный бой. Продвинувшись далеко вглубь отсека, Liang Kai добрался до одного из Warcors противника. Вырубив его мощным ударом копья, монах смог незаметно подкрасться к напарнику Polaris Bearpode – Polaris Controller. Для врага все закончилось очень быстро.
Группа под командованием Shona Carano успешно закрепилась в тылу центрального отряда противника. Несколько метких выстрелов из ракетницы Boyg уничтожили оставшуюся часть Varangian Guard и окончательно прижали Polaris Bearpode среди грузовых контейнеров. Т.к. устранить Bearpode c текущей позиции группы не представлялось возможным, Shona приняла решение сблизиться с противником и уничтожить его в рукопашной схватке.

— [ Третий этап операции ]
Оставшиеся немногочисленные, по нашим подсчётам, силы противника предприняли попытку контратаковать наши группы по нескольким фронтам одновременно. На правом фланге батарейного отсека, ловким движением зайдя за спину одного из наших Knight Hospitalier появился William Wallace. К сожалению, его удар оказался для одного из наших рыцарей смертельным. В ответ на это, оставшийся Knight Hospitalier Paramedic разрядил в Wallace весь боекомплект своей MULTI Rifle и, нужно сказать, это возымело успех. William был повержен.
Также, попытка нападения была совершена на Liang Kai, однако и в этот раз удача была на его стороне. Враг был повержен, что ознаменовало окончательную победу нашего отряда в схватке.
Нужно сказать, данная битва серьёзно потрепала наши силы, однако, не сломила наш дух.
Оставшаяся часть отряда закрепилась в батарейном отсеке, связь с головной частью корабля была восстановлена. Мы готовились к встрече союзного подкрепления и, возможно, к новой стычке с врагом.
