Due to scheduling / roleplaying night / I-don't-want-to-get-up-in-the-morning issues, this was to be the very last game of this campaign. And as is our tradition from previous campaigns, we made it all weird, with thepoorman mostly taking lots and lots of idiots on motorcycles and my taking a TAG and then a bunch of people with names. And much like Asteroid Blues, Achilles tragically did not get to fight a werewolf, this time because it wouldn't fit into the list. N4 has been an absolutely wonderful upgrade in nearly every way, but alas, it no longer seems able to support this kind of shenaniganry. Restrictions on number of idiots on motorcycles, combined with the dice being on -my- side this time, meant a fairly firm victory for Aleph.

Gregory got an early lead in claiming the bunker.
The crew! Only one Netrod, to make room for more Atalanta.
And the opposition. Too few, too few.

My first turn was uneventful - Achilles and Penthesilea ran into the bunker, the Marut and the Deva got into position to hose down the side doors with heavy flamethrowers should the need arise. Everyone was about as ready as we were going to get for the coming onslaught of Impetuousness. With nearly all of them tucked away behind buildings, there wasn't much else I cou

OH NO I FORGOT THE YUAN YUANS
Pretty sure thepoorman was banking on my absentmindedness. Unfortunately, he was also banking on my usual godawful luck, so Jade Blue Afterglow getting gunned down by Hypatia came as a bit of a surprise to both of us. Meanwhile, fully half of the Yuan Yuan Squad wound up on the other end of the board.
Marut look out behind you oh no she has her cyper airpods in!
That Kum there got winged by Achilles. In what time he had left, he chose violence. Meanwhile: She still doesn't know Zumeira and Zuleika are behind her.
What can criminal motorcyclists do against a fifteen-foot-tall mech wielding a helicopter rotor blade? Anyway the Marut got nailed with EM and never recovered.
Mainly because Hypatia the Sophotect lived up to her namesake once again.
He really wasn't banking on Mansuri being taken out by Atalanta the instant he stood up.
A Kum charges into the bunker! And gets Penthesilain.
Lieutenant Deva meanders over to claim an objective card.
Atalanta is having an increasingly dire crazed-mercenary problem.
The Fat Yuan Yuan gets into contact with her, but is out of orders to do anything about it. She's no longer covering that side of the board, though.
Coppertop charges the Deva! And is shot. Around this point, thepoorman figured out how many points he could get if everything went his way and then considered how much his dice liked him today. The game was conceded. Achilles still didn't get to fight a werewolf, or really anyone else.

Brutal game for me but a well-deserved win. I got silly and got my teeth kicked in.

Love it! Nice report, easy to follow with good pics. But more than that, I loved the crazy-listing and just seeing where things went! Using a Yuan Yuan to tie up Atalanta is a legit move 🙂
