Infinity is a game of objectives! Outside of a few scenarios, just shooting the other toy soldiers won't do a thing for victory. This is something that is very easy to forget when your opponent only has as many models as you do, which is to say, three. It's even easier to forget when you have Homeridae; they sure won't remember it for you.
I elected to leave her there for the moment and shifted to Achilles, who I had deployed to right in the middle of the table (oh heck I just realised that I could've put him further forward; alas! It wouldn't have changed much). He went straight up a ladder to see to the fellow who had just shot Penny.
Achilles blasted his face off with a Panzerfaust, but in the process was shot by that lowly turret the scenario gives you. Alas! Six ARM doesn't help when your dice are awful. Meanwhile, realising that Atalanta was left in a terrible position, I committed the great sin of making her walk somewhere.
Nice report, Commander!
The sheer number of successful ARM saves against Penthesilea’s sword was absurd. I feel like the thing had an on/off switch she forgot to flip.
They gave their lives to assure victory, the kind of discipline and dedication reflective of the soldiers the YuJing – They will be remembered! Glory to the State Empire!
Good game! Tnx for rep
“Play the mission” is perhaps the best lesson one can take to heart in Infinity. Another quality report, commander, and another recommended commendation.
Aleph is full of TV Stars. 😉
Very interesting battle, shows a lot of the reasons I love this game! Bet that from now on you’ll play objectives real hard.
