So some schedules changed and it turns out we had time for one last game before the night's role-playing. And while I'll certainly take the win, I'm afraid this wasn't a terribly satisfying one - a horrible 11-0 sweep that was 100% the fault of the dice and not at all to good or bad decisions made by either of us.

But I do still want those points for Darpan so I'm not saying no.

The crew! Same crew as last game. It seems to be a good crew.
I know Razors_Edge really likes lots of hidden deployments and combat-jumps and such - and really, who doesn't? - so I was awfully suspicious of these markers. Atalanta spent some orders clearing them out - just repeaters.
VROOM VROOM
More guys over there than I was anticipating. Penny got winged as she drove on up; thank Computer Mom for NWI.
Considering how many times I've had to sink multiple orders into getting the Monofilament Close-Combat Weapon to actually do anything, it was a little surprising that this fellow just died. Also: The Marut stomped on up into the bunker.
Oh their turn, guys started Combat Jumping in...
... in just the most inconvenient places.

Inconvenient for both of us, that is; half his jumpers failed their rolls and came in far far away from usefulness. His hackers, meanwhile, could not touch the Marut with their Carbonite. His rolls were absolute misery.

His Lieutenant, way over on my far left, moved on up and in the only slice of luck that Razors_Edge had today, critically dodged all the incoming ARO fire.

Nobody was anywhere near the objective to contest the Marut, and the aforementioned lieutenant bounced the Biotechvore off his armour, so that was the end of Round 1.

VROOM VROOM. Props to him for Close Combatting with a D-Charge. Considering how many times I've had to sink multiple orders into getting the Monofilament Close-Combat Weapon to actually do anything, it was a little surprising that this fellow just died -again.- My secret objective was Predator, so I get a point for close-combatting two people to death.
I had to get people out of the Biotechvore, but this fellow was in Suppression with a heavy machine gun. Achilles did some very impressive armour-saving before cutting his head off. Predator gives a bonus objective point if you kill -three- people in close combat.
In Loss of Lieutenant and with an awfully scarce field, there wasn't much Razors_Edge could do. Achilles bounced shotgun fire off his face and when my turn hit, ran over to eviscerate this guy too...
... and then jogged up to this fellow. It wasn't a 100% board-clearing, but it was quite enough. This entire game was won by luck - and not even my good luck, Razors_Edge just seems to have annoyed a witch or something and his dice were utterly cursed. But that's Durgama for me. It's been a fun time!
