Pleased with the result of our investigation at Gekidan's, the Jade Dragon graciously allowed my division to resume its standard activitites in the peninsula, namely following High-Command order: Yu-jing should take Cameliard at all cost, and secure the relics sought for by the Evolved Intelligence.
While the Imperial Service forces are usually not adequately equipped for open warfare, our agents are not to be underestimated and with enough cunning and ferocity all is possible.
We reached the guard post at dawn and it took less than a minute for an alarm to be triggered and a panoceanian detachement to be dispatched to intercept us. Not really a surprise, given current activities at the guard post they had to be on high alert.
What was surprising, however, was the panoceanian detachement. The winter force was here, on Durgama? What could speciliazed snow fighters possibly do in the jungle?
A bit bemused, but no less cautious, we took our position.
With too few troops left, we had no choice but to retreat. What a shameful display! Going back like this to the encampement was not an option. We needed a victory, and to wash our dishonor with the blood of the panoceanian!
I set-up a rally point for my troops in disarray, and asked for reinforcement to meet us there. Searching through our intel reports, I quickly found a worthy target no too far off: an artillery command site, lost in the jungle.
Nice report
Truly excellent report, even if a loss. Keep up the good work!
