White Banner Troops en-route from Svalarheima to Helheim were redirected to Durgama to secure State Empire assets as the situation escalates. Approaching the region the Yu Jing forces chose to take the opportunity to board the Bow section of the RavenEye station to gain important Intell on the situation on board and the state of the station.
It didn’t take long before they found themselves in conflict with the Military Order troops there led by a Knight-Commander and accompanied by Mendoza

Phase 1a: Yu Jing Turn 1
Our White Banner Forces succeeded in taking the initiative and moved against the Pan-O troops first. Our force had retained the services of the Mercenary Oktavia Grimsdottir who made the first move, promptly bringing down an Order Sergeant with Heavy Rocket Launcher that was covering the main approach to the first communication antenna on our right flank. Under cover from Grimsdottir with her Missile Launcher our brave Zhanshi fireteam moved up and positioned themselves to move against the Antenna in turn 2.
Meanwhile on the left flank a mixed team of Shang Ji Invincibles and Ye Mao took up positions. The 2nd Order Sergeant who had been covering this flank was brought unconscious by one of the Shang Ji. However, unbeknownst to our brave troops a concealed and cowardly Trinitarian sniper opened fire rendering the Ye Mao Unconscious, the victory was short lived for the sniper however as the Shang Ji with his Heavy Machine Gun rained fire on them until they were sure the sniper had been killed. Meanwhile our Shang Ji Paramedic scaled the building and used her medkit to bring the Ye Mao back into the fight. While a victory for the State Empire this unfortunately cost the squad valuable time and they were unable to secure their antenna. They fortified their position and prepared for the Pan-Oceanian counterattack.
Phase 1b: Pan-O Turn 1
Order forces pushed up on our left flank and succeeded in activating the Antenna there before digging in to defend that position. More troops attempted to push up the center, they succeeded in disabling a Chaiyi Yaokong before another was brought down by fire from the Mercenary Grimsdottir. At this moment Mendoza intervened and exchanged heavy fire with Grimsdottir, during the firefight Grimsdottir was wounded and fell unconscious.

Phase 2a: Yu Jing Turn 2
Mendoza had brought down our Mercenary but had been driven back into cover during the exchange of fire. Our Zhanshi squad took this opportunity to move up and in what can only be described as a flawless maneuver succeeded in securing the Antenna and locking down the right flank. In addition, the squad deserves commendation for their initiative as in the same maneuver accomplished a special classified objective that had been issued to them – to gain Telemetry on the Enemy and on Mendoza. In addition, our hacker managed to disable Mendoza’s armour! Hopefully pinning him in place for the remainder of the engagement.
On the left flank things initially progressed just as planned. Our Hundun with her Marksman Rifle cunningly surprised the enemy from her concealed position, dismantling the Pan-Oceanians careful defenses around the left flank Antenna. However, when the Shang JiYe Mao fireteam pushed to take the Antenna more Pan-Oceanian deception was discovered. A Mine wounded the Shang Ji Lieutenant and then taking advantage of this a RavenEye Officer brought the Lieutenant down – only his suits life support systems kept him alive and just unconscious. A second burst killed the brave Ye Mao outright while he was attempting to avenge his Lieutenant. The loss of our Lieutenant could have been disastrous but Imperial Agent Adil Mehmut of Special Division swiftly took command.
**Special Note(s) to ISS – Please pass along my thanks to Agent Mehmut for his assistance when he recovers. Also Perhaps O-12 needs to be taught not to meddle in State Empire affairs
Following the setback on the left flank our forces dug in to prepare for the next attack from the Zealous Military Order troops

Phase 2b: Pan-O Turn 2
While our efforts had weakened the Pan-Oceanians they still had plenty of firepower available to them. As quickly as our hacker had immobilized him Mendoza’s redundant armour systems kicked in and he was swiftly moving again and he destroyed our second Chaiyi YaoKong. Additional Military Order force also began combat (zero-g) entry into the battle and attempted to push our forces back but we were successful in holding our positions.

Phase 3a: Yu Jing Final Turn
Though our forces had suffered greatly we needed to persevere and secure the Tech Coffin and 2nd Antenna. The Hundun (who also deserves recognition for her actions) suppressed the RavenEye officer who had so deceptively attacked us, despite fire from the Marksman the officer cowardly fled back into cover. However, this was still acceptable to accomplish out objectives, with him out of the way our ShangJi paramedic moved up to secure the Antenna. Unfortunately, this took longer than expected due to damage the console had sustained during the firefight but nonetheless the Antenna was activated and secured for the State Empire. On the right flank utilizing stealth and guile our Guilang sprang into action, dropping a mine that would hopefully pin down Mendoza while the Zhanshi team moved to secure the Tech-Coffin. This ploy was successful and our Zhanshi were able to secure the Tech-Coffin.

Phase 4b: Pan-O Final Turn
The battle looked to be well in our hands at this point, it appeared there was little the Pan-Oceanians could do. Agent Mehmut attempted to stall Mendoza as long as he could but was grievously wounded, Mendoza then went on to cut down a brave Zhanshi in close quarters before securing the Tech Coffin back however even this should not have changed the outcome. At the last moment despicable Pan-Oceanian deception bested us. A Knight of Santiago dropped in by combat jump and disguised himself with a holomask as one of our own. Though the deception was discovered right away he charged the Antenna on the left flank and despite a fusillade of fire from both the Hundun’s Marksman Rifle and Shang Ji’s Multi-Rifle his armour somehow held strong and he was able to secure the Antenna back for Pan-Oceania.

Final Total
Pan-O: 5
YuJing: 4

Although only narrowly pushed back the White Banner forces will fall back from the RavenEye for now as they are urgently requested on the surface. But we will be back, and we will Get MENDOZA!

UPDATE: Worth noting it looks like the pictures uploading in reverse order for some reason so the photos from the beginning of the battle are at the bottom as the closer to the top is towards the end.
