Deployment

Ariadna won the roll off and decided to seize the moment, pressing in on the attack. Yu Jing spread out in response to the sudden incursion and prepared to repel the invaders. With the Long Ya doing their job to fill the midfield with camo tokens, the rest of the team was able to hang back, ready to respond to the incoming violence and vodka.

Ariadna Turn 1

Feeling confident wearing the looted armor he had found, and Irmandinho sprung forward to clear a mine for his fellow soldiers and instead stumbled and fell directly onto the explosive ordinance. Somewhat unfortunately accomplishing his objective, the path was now cleared for Vassily to reveal himself and attempt to pin down the Long Ya staring him down. Failing the roll, Vassaly instead chose to move cautiously up the board and downed the Yu Jing Warcor before he had a chance to reveal what Ariadna was up to in this sector. Confidant the enemy attention was drawn elsewhere, a Scout unleashed a heavy blast from his Shotgun onto Liang Kai and the Long Ya, managing to down the Long Ya but failing to land a hit on the athletic monk. Feeling the tide of battle turn against him, the Scout leveled two shells into Liang Kai in a second attempt to down the heroic figure, but lost the face to face rolls vs Kai's pistol shots.

Yu Jing Turn 1

Worried about the danger to his monk team, Agent Adil stepped forward and began laying down fire from his Breaker Combi, forcing the scout to dodge into safety. Engaging the servo-armor of his Crane armor, Adil moved forward and again put a burst into the scout, managing to land a single hit on the guerrilla master and putting him down. Freed from their pinned position, the monk harris moved forward, throwing smoke before advancing to do some looting to find a set of grenades nestled away in the locker. Meanwhile, the lone Shaolin advanced up the right flank with his irregular order to establish a forward defensive position. With only a few moments left, Adil moved upwards into a defensible position and entered suppressive fire to attempt and cover his team.

Ariadna Turn 2

Knowing he needed to break the deadlock, Vassily moved forward and downed a Shaolin while managing to shrug off the incoming chain rifle aimed for his head. Spending time to enter a hidden state again, he moved forward and opened fire on Adil. The two trades blows for several orders until Vassily was downed to a crit from the breaker combi. Running out of options and time, the Ariadna beast hunter moved forward and managed to evade detection entirely. With the final order of turn 2, the madman inflicted two wounds from a critical hit on the AC2.

Yu Jing Turn 2

Wanting to establish his importance and flex a little, the Yu Jing beasthunter pulled out his cool sword and showed his brother from Ariadna the use of actual weapons, quickly executing the pale imitation. The Mech Engineer spent several orders fixing up the AC2, working quickly on the systems as the college of engineering had taught him. Cleared up to do their jobs, the monk harris spent the rest of the turn walking up to the enemy AC2 and helping Liang Kai turn it into a big ole pile of scrap.

Conclusion

We decided to call the game there, it had been what we wanted! Quick and dramatic fun as we both got to name call each other and laugh at laying out templates. Really have enjoyed all this event has had me play and the people I've been able to meet. Happy Gaming!
