Deployment

Ariadna won the roll off and chose to go first with Yu Jing counter deploying on their advancing team.
Ariadna set up with an aggressive spread including holding a reserved heavy flamer to place right down on the Yu Jing center. This nullified the central castle of templates the Yu Jing commander had attempted to set up, but left both flanks fairly safe for the Jujak and Zhanying who were lurking for their moment to strike.

Ariadna Turn 1

Surprising no one, the very first order was a Grunt turning on his heavy flamer douse the Digger and Kuang Shi from their central position. The Digger suffered extensive wounds but was able to keep on in operational status while the Kuang Shi succeed it's dodge. The Marauder advanced up his left flank and successfully triggered a mine but was unable to spot the Libertos from its hidden position. The Marauder opened fire on the F-13 module and downed it in a precise controlled burst. Fearing overextension, the Marauder entered suppressive fire while his Beasthunter ally moved forward and laid another mine.

Yu Jing Turn 1

Focused on repelling the enemy with coordinated firepower, the Yu Jing team sprang to action with a smoke screen being laid down for the rest of the team to advance. A Kuang Shi was ordered forward to deal with the suppressive fire Marauder. The noble warrior was gunned down in the process but was able to force the Marauder to go dogged. The Libertos moved forward in an effort to clear the mines of the beasthunter, but was struck by a round from the F-13 turret and went dogged in response. Feeling the life leave his body, the Libertos activated again, emptying his Light Shotgun into the grunt across from him. Both perished in the ensuing gunfire. Seeking to secure the team, the Zhanying moved forward and deployed a mantrap, ending Yu Jing's turn

Ariadna Turn 2

While Yu Jing had been moving forward and dealing with the enemy in front of them, they had been blinded to the real threat parachuting in from above. In a precise and controlled path, the Ariadna elite trooper picked apart the Yu Jing left flank, downing the Zhanying, Liang Kai, a Kuang Shi, and putting the Digger to rest before finally succumbing to his own wounds.

Yu Jing Turn 2

Reduced to a devastated fraction of their former capability, the Yu Jing scrambled to recover. The Jujak knew it was now or never, and sprang forward to press the enemy to the back foot. Downing the Beasthunter with a venomous fury, the Jujak was hit by a grunt and forced back into cover. Another round of breaker shots downed the grunt from his position in cover. Pleased he had shifted the momentum, the Jujak set himself into suppressive fire, intending to keep the enemy as far away from his LT as possible.

Ariadna Turn 3

With only a precious few soldiers left, the Ariadna team had to consider their steps carefully. With the Jujak being the primary target, and not having enough orders to pressure the hidden Yu Jing LT, the Minuteman chose to move up and enter suppressive fire from full cover from the Jujak, ensuring if it made an aggressive play it would be within good shotgunning range.

Yu Jing Turn 3

Realizing he had safely killed more army points than the enemy, the Yu Jing commander chose not to risk any more of his mens' lives in this endeavor. With the Ariadna assault blunted, the game ended in a bloody but very satisfying victory.

Thank you so much for reading! This was one of my first real engagements with Ariadna so I was not ready for the pressure they could put on my DZ so quickly. We are hoping to do a series of games today so hopefully this narrative will continue should schedules align. Happy gaming!
