VS ALEPH

In the ongoing skirmishes outside Camerliard, a small Yu Jing Patrol was ambushed by an ALEPH assault team for unknown reasons. The OSS team was spearheaded by a Dakini fire team and a Naga primarily, while the Yu Jing side was placing heavy weight on their Jujak, Zhanying, and Digger to carry the day.
(This was our first attempt to play on TTS)

Initiative:
ALEPH won the roll
Turn Order: ALEPH would go first
Deployment: Yu Jing had to deploy first.

Yu Jing Deployment: Setting up with a defensive net and hunkered down, the recon team set up with Kuang Shi and Libertos forward to protect their front lines. The Jujak waited in a central position to lurch for the armory, while the Zhanying was fortified in a safe corner, waiting to strike.

OSS Deployment: The Dakini team deployed to aggressively push up and secure their left flank. The Naga was deployed to remove road blocks for the fire team while the Posthuman waited on the right flank for an opportunity to strike.

Turn 1:

ALEPH: The Naga moved up and quickly removed the mine and mantrap waiting for him with a skillful dodge. This allowed the elite unit to push up and discover the skulking Libertos. In a blaze of shotgun fire both ambushers went down to the dismay of the OSS commander. The Dakini team, now cleared, pushed up and got a lucky angle on the forward Digger who was not properly positioned, too eager to rush into glory and combat. With only a few precious moments left, the OSS commander pulled his Dakini team back to the midfield with a commanding view of the armory and left flank. The Posthuman moved up to open the armory (We decided to allow anyone to attempt the check at a lower model count) and looted a set of grenades before eyeing the door.

Yu Jing: Seeing the mechanized threat on his flank, the Yu Jing commander ordered for a smoke cover to be laid out. After a failed attempt due to the stress of seeing casualties drop around him, the Celestial Guard managed to lay smoke down blocking the Dakini’s view to the Jujak. With a roar, the Jujak lept forward, guided by the last known position of the enemy, he lunged through the smoke cover to lay down his heavy flamethrower. The Dakini were caught by surprise by this maneuver, and while able to score a wound on the Korean warrior, the HMG went down, severing the link. Refusing to quit while he was ahead. The Jujak moved up to engage two of the Dakini further back, again laying down his Flamethrower and taking two more of the forward assault drones down before going down in a blaze of returning gunfire. Seizing the moment, the Zhanying moved from his defensive position and laid down breaker combi fire into the exposed Dakini and managed to put the unit into an unconscious state. With the last orders of the turn, Liang Kai moved forward to assault the room the following turn.

End of Round 1: ALEPH scores 2 points, Dakini Team is down, Naga is down, Jujak is Down, Digger is Down, Libertos is Down.

Turn 2
OSS: Seeing the decimation of his fire team, the Shukra moved forward to quickly loot the armory, securing a HMG in the process. The final Dakini moved up to avenge his team, and was able to down the Zhanying in a quick exchange of gunfire (The game was moving quite quickly at this point)

Yu Jing: Laing Kai knew his duty was now or never, and in a desperate attempt to close on the Armory hurled a grenade into the posthuman’s face. Scoring a lucky hit from the surprise maneuver, Liang Kai was free to advance and quickly down the stunned trooper in close combat. Looting the Panalopy for an adhesive launcher, Liang moved outside before dodging around the corner to stare the OSS commander in the face. In an act that will be remembered for years to come, Liang flew into a berserker rage, eating a shotgun shell to the face as he bisected the commander in two. With both down the board was falling quickly. In an attempt to secure strategic control of the location, the Daoying LT chose to move forward into the armory to loot for the second set of grenades, holding the location herself.

End of Round 2: Yu Jing scores 2 points, Shukra Dead, Liang Kai Dead, Zhanying Dead.

With the OSS forces in retreat, the day was won in a bloody confrontation between the two forces. The Yu Jing had to report heavy casualties, but were able to secure the location for the State Empire

Slightly confused, but the report does look good and a win is always nice to see.

  • Space Ranger says:

Good job for first TTS. I’ve used it a few and just can’t get a hang if it.

  • Teddy says:

Good Report. Played my first game on TTS yesterday. I think it’s a good alternative when you have no chance to play “live”

  • Nastya Zoya Shevchenko says:

Hope you enjoyed, TTS has a bit of a learning curve. I think the main feedback is that it always helps to put images between the relevant paragraphs to make it easier to follow.

  • Luca Girolami says:

    Great job, keep it up!
