An alert flashed in the Yu Jing commander’s HUD that an ALEPH OSS team was deploying to a remote location in the Cameliard region. Seeing as reports of erratic ALEPH activity had been coming in through the week, the commander sprung into action to ensure whatever ALEPH wanted, would be safely kept with the State Empire.

Deployment

ALEPH won the roll off and chose to control the area in which the battle would occur. Yu Jing chose to go first.

ALEPH set up with a sniper primed to watch the center of the map, with an engineer close at hand and specialists ready to lunge from either flank. Yu Jing placed the primary of their forces on their right flank, with the Shang Ji Core and Spitfire Daofei on the left flank.

Yu Jing Turn 1

The Shang Ji roared to life on the left flank, trading fire with a Posthuman mk.4 in overwatch and after a few tense seconds, was able to down the threat. Slogging their way through the aquatint's terrain, the core was able to down a LAMEDH and secure the Panoply, equipping an additional armor model to the Shang Ji and giving Le Gong an explosive CC weapon. Feeling secure on the left flank, the team dug in. Meanwhile, on the right flank, Liang Kai and his Shaolin decided to shuffle to a very fortified position, but not push too far forward too early. The Daofei spitfire advanced and opened fire on the Dakini sniper, landing two impactful hits but being locked into an immobilized state by the hidden proxy mk.2 in response. Sensing a chance to do his ancestors proud, a Shaolin advanced and was able to down the mk.2, ending the Yu Jing turn.

ALEPH Turn 1

Springing to life, the Mk.1 Engineer quickly got the Dakini Sniper back up in working order. A quick update to the battlefield scope from the Probot and the Dakini made quick work of the Shaolin before putting a wound on the Daofei who successfully reset and went prone. Setting its sights on the Shang Ji, the Dakini managed to score a hit on the Shang Ji, but didn't put a dent in the upgraded armor of the Heavy Infantry. Choosing her moment to strike, moved to down a Shaolin before looting the Panoply for a MULTI rifle. Deciding to bide her time, she set in ambush, waiting for the Yu Jing to overextend.

Yu Jing Turn 2

Utilizing very carefully measured cautious movement, the wounded Daofei moved forward from under the focused gaze of ALEPH. Liang Kai tossed some up to Andromeda, blinding her from her hidden position and enabling him and his monk duo to advance up the field. Most of the Yu Jing attention was devoted to a Shaolin sprinting up from the deployment zone to land a smoke grenade on the enemy AC2, enabling the Daofei to approach and plant three D3 Charges, demolishing the objective. His purpose fulfilled, the Daofei entered suppressive fire and held his breath, waiting for the smoke to clear.

Sorry for the lack of other photos! Forgot to take many during this turn.

ALEPH Turn 2

Seeing the majority of the Yu Jing team having pushed up the board to accomplish their own objective, Andromeda made her move from hiding. Mirroring the Daofei's earlier achievements, she took several cautious movements and was able to end up making scary eyes at the hidden Long Ya, who did not want to reveal itself to the robot dog hungrily eyeing the hidden position. This ended up being a mistake as Andromeda promptly identified the REM, and demolished it with very little effort. Moving her way up the exposed Yu Jing flank, Andromeda was able to down the Chaiyi watching the deployment zone, and made her way to her final challenge, the humble Yu Jing Warcor. Leveling her looted MULTI rifle at the exposed reporter, the elite ALEPH warrior was blinded by the radiance of the distribution of truth from the camera of the Warcor and stunned on her rampage. With only a few orders left, a Deva immobilized the Daofei and moved forward to deliver the final blow.

Yu Jing Turn 3

Deciding now was the time to cut off the head of the enemy, the Shaolin and Liang Kai team moved up to assault the Shukra. After a blaze of contested fire, the Shaolin went down as did the ALEPH LT. Very concerned about the ALEPH specialist in his back line, the Yu Jing LT moved to open fire on her/ Landing a hit and forcing her to activate NWI, another burst quickly followed, downing the forward ALEPH operative.

ALEPH Turn 3

In Loss of LT, ALEPH did the best they could to secure a classified but that was pretty much all they could pull off with the crippling blow at the end of the game.

Victory to the Cunning and Resourceful White Banner! Glory to the State Empire!

First off I want to state that this was a really cool map. I really enjoyed getting to play on a map made by Whyrockhodie, as I am just getting into TTS I'm discovering how cool the maps can be so huge shout out to the Infinity Community! Happy gaming!

Lovely work. Your report is formatted well, you’ve given us a clear play-by-play written with flavor, and you’ve managed to score some pretty good screen caps despite playing in TTS. It’s a pain sometimes to get those cinematic shots that physical models provide. Nicely done, and congratulations on the victory, commander.
