After terrible losses suffered by morats at Darpan station and bitter fighting it was still held by humans. An insult to the glorious Morat Agression Force! After so many defeats Ranom Niozr had asked to be transferred into field unit to be able to wash away his disgrace by blood. This request was rejected by Kornak, who stated that treitak has to be punished for his failures and therefore kept away from the gift of dying on the battlefield. So Ranom had to endure sitting away from the combat zone and providing tactical advise and intelligence. Morat was outraged, but was bunded by the unbreakable chain of command and discipline to obey.
