Arriving to support their allies, a TAC team runs into Yu Jing troops engaging in something nefarious and proceed to duke it out in an extremely bloody fashion.

The commanders roll off and the Ariadna commander wins. Perhaps due to inexperience, he choses deployment rather than first turn.
The Yu Jing commander then tries *a lot* to pry off some of the more expensive Ariadna units at range, but due to the close nature of the map, has some difficulties. The Yu Jing commander succeeds in yeeting the Tank Hunter, the Bounty Hunter and a line kazakh before losing his own Bounty Hunter and his warcor. Afterwards, the slog continued with the vet kazakh getting into No Wound Incapacitation before proceeding to yeet the Zuyong-Tai Sheng-Shang Ji haris, but getting downed in the process. The Daoying LT then moves up and yeets a line kazakh, but fails to end another one. The final turn for Ariadna consists of two attempts to yeet the Daoying, resulting in three successful armour saves and the Daoying blasting another line kazakh, ending the bloody battle as a phyrric victory for Yu Jing.
YJ Turn 1:
The YJ commander leverages the first turn and uses the biker to yeet a line kazakh and the enemy Bounty Hunter, but gets killed in the attempt to eliminate more units.
Ariadna turn 1:
The Ariadna commander takes the chance to move up the tank hunter, but otherwise not progessing a whole lot, failing to get significant hits in, sending in the Spetznas, only to have it get knocked out.
YJ Turn 2:
The YJ commander uses the windfall of a defeated Spetznaz to move up and use most of his orders targeting the Tank Hunter and the Vet Kazakh. The YJ Warcor was eliminated, but sadly the YJ haris took down the Tank Hunter and put the Vet Kazakh in NWI.
Ariadna Turn 2:
The Ariadna Commander decides this is all or nothing, and throws the kitchen sink (the Vet Kazakh) leading a full team at the problem, moving the team up and eliminating the Haris by outright killing or knocking them out, but sadly the Vet Kazakh goes down in the process.
YJ Turn 3:
The YJ Commander, annoyed at the bloody setback, uses the Daoying with the two LT orders and one regular, to move up and shoot first at one and then another line Kazakh, only taking out one. As it stands due to having eliminated the enemy LT among other things, the Ariadna commander needs to yeet the Daoying or end up tying with the enemy.
Ariadna Turn 3:
The Ariadna commander knows this is all or nothing, and is hardly the type to accept a tie, so he first advances the Kazakh FO to be outside the template range of the Daoying's boarding shotgun and gets three hits, but the Daoying's armour tanks it. Having but one order left, he decides to throw the nearest line Kazakh at the Daoying with as good odds as possible, but gets blasted in the face by return fire, while the Daoying succeeds their armour save, resulting in a victory for Yu Jing.
6 to 3 in favour of Yu Jing.

Close battles are always fun and tense.
Damn hard battle all told. Butt-clenching moments in the last turn for both sides. Really good game too, with everything in the balance and good effort on both parties.
