Return to Zebu Research Base
My opponent won initiative and chose to go second, I chose to deploy first and on the side of the table that I thought I could most implement the strategy of sending two teams of units to cover my side’s consoles leaving a clipsos with forward observer hidden next to the less obviously defended of his consoles during the deployment phase.
Sadly, only our Heroic agent Aelis Keesan was able to bond with the loose symbiocuriasses.
For my first turn, I found out that the IMP marker next to my longarm was a speculo killer, having to use my taquel to PT:Endgame it through the wall. After this my taquel spent 3 orders failing to activate my console. Leaving me with Neema’s triad prone on top of my bottom left console building and my kaeltar in position with Aelis Keesan and a Draal to climb the bottom right building.
For my opponent’s first turn he sent 7 taighas across the board, losing one to a shock mine I placed with the Libertos and one to the AP Marksman Rifle of my perched Draal.
My oppnonent ended up wasting 5 orders running taighas up the building to kill my Libertos, using his remaining few orders to move a shrouded with a killer hacking device up to the upper left console and claim it.
For the beginning of my second turn, four more of our brethren successfully bonded with the rampant symbiocuriasses to acquire additional armor. I knew I needed to control more zones than my opponent in end of the second round, to hopefully put him off his heels. I was able to successfully trade with a foxholed haiduk sniper with Aelis’ K1 Combi from across the map, killing the Haiduk. My Aelis keesan failed a save while going down the ladder and getting hit from an HMGs multiple shots. She then failed her save in the states phase.
End of turn two, my opponent controlled the bottom right quadrant towards me, while I held the bottom left and the far right quadrant with Neema’s squad and the draal assisted by the clipsos.
For my third and final turn, my clipsos failed to flip the console in the upper right, and but she placed two shock mines around that still remaining inactive console. Then I used the taquel in Neema’s team to cover with several mirror balls as I stradled the area between the two left quadrants with the team, scoring points with the taquel and chaska in my bottom left and the ectros with neema in the upper left.
Ultimately those innocent symbiocuriass babies are safe in our people’s arms again. We lost Aelis in the conflict, but she will spend time in the regen pods and return for battle once again.
Long live the Tohaa, long live OUR symbiotes! FOR THE GLORY OF THOSE WE LOST AT DAEDALUS WE STAND!
Easy to follow, but I would love to see more narrative. Helps really create immersion and help you feel like you are in the battle!
Congratulations Commander into keeping the enemy outside our base!
Congratulations on being highligted for Phase One! Keep up the great work!
Solid reporting, commander. Looks like a fun table as well.
Good report Brohaa
Congratulations for that Tohaa victory.
@Geilt I totally agree that Aelis Keesan should have the shock immunity she had on N3 due the regeneration ability.
Fantastic report!
O(≧▽≦)O

Good job mate!! Keep the momentum! Keep wining and wining and wining!!!
That’s a spicy tohaa list. Group two libertos doing god’s work.
Nice work. You flipped the location.
Nice report! very thematic! Aelis Keesan proves to become more useful in the current conditions of being stranded among hoomans and their so called infoware. Perhaps the powers above (aka CB ) will regenerate Aelis into a more fearsome fighter with time 😀 (that is resculpt the model haha and maybe give her shock immunity at least or even a NWI and frenzy or impetuousness to curb the point)
