The operation was a failure. We were send to advance on the supplies module and restore the order in the name of the High Command and to have an eye on the more onstable and unreliable Nomad forces, operation was doomed to fail.
When arriving at the Port Battery the Nomads reacted with a high degree of aggression and set up a force to counter our advances. Communication and diplomatic actions failed. The Nomads of Corregidor seemed to take our appearance as purely aggressive act and not as an act to stabilise the situation and we were trapped in a situation where a preemptive strike was the only action.
Our first advances where a success. Our Omega and Epsilon were able to take out some of the enemy warband troops which were leading the Nomad advance and we set up a repeater network to aid our troops and provide field recon.
Unfortunatly we had to learn that the Nomads brought two of there finest hackers (Valeria Gromoz and the infamous Jazz).
Both used our network to lounch a counterstrike again our Cyberghost who was busy targeting an enemy unit, hiding in cover.
With the conncection lost to a remote and our most specialist hacker, the Nomads took the lead in the cyberwarfare.
Now relying on pure weapons strength our Epsilion made his HMG ready to attack the enemy Gator unit before it could start to wrack havoc on our forces.
Unfortunatly there seemed to be some huge interferences and he missed every single shot while the Gator reacted quickly and with a high degree of precision and pulverized the unfortunate veteran what left our left flank nearly without any heavy weapon support.
With our repeater network damaged and isolated and even without the supportive fire the Nomads were free to roam the left flank.
Their Gator took advantage of the situation, stomping forward and not even our Team Sirius could pierce the high BTS of the TAG.
Marching forward unstopped and uncontested the Gators main weapon pierced our troops. The Kyttä and Cyberghost stood no chance against it and even he not even had mercy for the Warcor.
But when the situation seemed dire our Alpha and his bodyguard stepped forward and they were able to wound the marching coloss and stop him right before he could continue his slaughter.
In an attemt to regain the iniative the Varangian mercenary and the Omega repositioned.
The Varangian showing his aggressive nature while berserking right into a supporting Wildcat, slaughtering the specialist but dieing to the enemies´weapon himself.
Our HI was way more efficient. The Gator seemed to have overdone it before and only a few attemts were needed to pierce the armour and the giant fell right before he could kill our lieutenant.
In an act of revenge and mery the Alpha ended the life of the gator with a precise coupe de grace.
But it wasn´t enough. The losses were already to heavy and the lines shattered.
More enemey reserves arrived in form of a core team lead bei Senor Massacre himself and the nomad hackers were able to pierce the defenses of the Omega leaving him easy prey for a revived missle launcher.
Seeking for blood Massacre and his Gang run straight but in cover of some eclipse grenades to our lines trying to get to our lieutenant.
At the end they may have succeeded but leaving the enemy dead and Massacre heavily wounded.
But at this point a retreat was the only option.
