Durgama Takeover

Greetings, my fellow wargamers. After my first game in campaign my thrist for conquest increased and yesterday I decided to exchange some more sleep time for a chance to get some points. Spoiler: I made It and now satisfaction enlightens my long sleep deprived workday. God bless TTS.

I played against Hifal and his hassassins. We decided to go on Zebu because previously I saw suggestions to attack that way in Tohaa thread. Yeah, even MORE pokemons!

Deploy: opponent decided to go first, I took a side with a tallest sniper tower. Hassasins then deployed muyibs core with four TA HRLs (sic!) in Q1 and some camos here and there beside the consoles. I disguised my viral sniper taagma as brawler HRL to bait a gunfight with muyibs, placed my core and tri core in Q3, and rasail in Q4 to contest other side. Two fidays was delayed, one of them got into the backline of my core, another one gone prone on small tower in Q3. My reserve was impostor (kinda sus) and I placed him hidden in Q4.
First turn. Almost everyone got their headcrabs. Good thing I’ve got some AP weapons to pierce increased armor. Fiday kills kaauri, no one sees that but taagma sniper hears gunshots and dodges in prone to be safe from fiday templates next orders. Fiday then goes on the barrels from which tagma may be seen, now diggers can see him, I decided to trade, taagma templated to death, fiday also killed by chain rifle broadside. Second fiday is not afraid of draal’s ODD and that ends not good for him. Muyibs move a little towards Q2, I also lost two of my frogmen: the Q3 one got discovered and killed by muyibs and Q4 one was speculative fired by LGL because he was too close to rasail’s chaksa.
My first turn. Impostor goes knee deep in cold water towards enemy backline where sole ghulam stands. Two orders later impostor was discovered, and I finally remembered that there is plenty of CoC in hassassins. At least impostor is hidden behind the barrels. I change my plans, smoke passage to Q3 with kriigel and sole draal breaks triad cohesion to score me Q3 console and control of Q2 zone because there is only one farzan here. 2-0 for me after first round.
Second turn. Muibs and two daylami tried to kill impostor in Q3 but I dodged everything like a boss. Then muyibs seized buildings between Q2 and Q3, wounded rasail once with HRL barrage he then got into cover, but lucky me – I critted one of HRL muyibs with my rasail on ARO and reduced muyibs to four man team. Farzan tried to kill draal with templates in his rear arc, but I managed to dodge, farzan saved eraser though. Then nadhir reveals himself in Q2 and kills my draal unconscious with single order. Last frogman also died that turn by the hands of muyibs.
My second turn, I’ve lost all my heavy weapons, but I managed to kill one standing standing muyib in Q1-Q2 buildings areas with HFT from chaksa and rasail rifle. Rasail the proceeded towards Q1. Killed one daylami and farzan in process. Remains of muyib team were roughly reachable, so I decided to play on draw since I was already in lead, killed ghulam with my astoundingly survived impostor and went back into IMP-2 state.
Score is 3 – 1 my side.
Last turn, although I killed plenty of stuff, there is still two TA muyibs. Muttawi tries to kill rasail with his impetous, bot dies from viral, rasail still stands. The muyib wounds rasail again, last wound remain and rasail goes prone. Then muyibs charge towards Q4, LGL guy kills rasail and scores my zone. With one remaining order muyib tries to LGL spec fire my CoC but this time a disaster didn’t happen and shot missed.
My last turn, I cheated a little bit and checked point costs of muyib LGL (who was only miniature in Q4) and learned that impostor is more expensive. I wasted some orders to reach Q2 with kriigel with smoke screen but I didn’t manage to cover myself from everyone and died from daylami panzershreck shot. Then I just spent all of my remaining orders to get my impostor into Q4 and outscore the muyib. Muyibs dodged but failed to get into Q4 so that is another draw and with one captured console from both sides – my victory 5 – 3. Classifeieds wasn’t achieved by neither of us.

P.S. I play spiral and signed up for the Tohaa faction. I hope that’s ok since someone might remember that spiral is an N/A2 faction.
P.P.S. Hmm… If there is N/A2 where is N/A1? We need to investigate that.
