The Jungle terrain beckoned to the MAF, they knew exactly how to proceed. In a formation typical of flushing out prey, the Morats lined up forming a chain of flesh and steel that spread across the entirety of the theater. Gakis, one of the MAF's feral hunting beasts, eagerly bolted to the forefront of the deployment zone. Not to be outdone the Trio of Renegade brothers stood along side, their biomutations warping their flesh and bone to become more like that of the creatures that stood beside them. The commander and his right hand hefted their heavy weapons as they took position on the high ground with their accompanying detail of vanguard. Lastly and anything but least, the two behemoths of Morat might stood, stoic and purposeful, ready to deliver judgement to those who would stand before the righteous path laid out by the EI.
The Knights of Panociana purposefully deployed themselves under the watchful eyes of veteran commander Gabriel De Ferson. Their objective was clear, to take and hold. No slouches themselves in martial war, the Knights cleverly recognized the MAF would be soon be there and deployed defensively. Their towering symbol of human intelligence and might, the Seraph, glided gracefully but powerfully into position, not knowing that it, not the armory, would be the true target of the Morats first assault.
The plan was simple, thought the Veteran Suryat Lieutenant as he hoisted his heavy machine gun. The Tactical Armoured Gear the forces of St Peter had brought with them posed the most problematic and yet tantalising question. Should the construct fall and fall fast, the staying power of the humans would greatly decrease, and with the added benefit of being able to extract information from the fallen, the call was made to begin the assault. Leaping from their positions with impetuos bloodrush, the front line of beasts and morats blitzed forward with complete disregard for tactics. The hulking suits of the Tempest Regiment roared with a blend of the bellowing cries of their occupants and the protesting tonnage of metal that they forced to their will. Striding forward in persuit of their frontline and under the command of the Suryats, the first of the two Sogorats flung shells of armour piercing ammunition down range at the first target they could see. Surprised by the speed and disregard for tactics, the enemies commander had been caught almost unaware as a shard of molten metal pierced his high teck suit. Jumping into cover it was clear the forces of Deferson had made a fatal miscalculation regarding the MAFs true purpose here, there was no concern for what Panoceana was here to protect, no... The target was the knights themselves. Roaring as another volley lashed out from their guns, a Tutonic knight could do nothing to prevent the oncoming wall of rage and metal. Though, admitted the first of the brothers, not for a lack of trying, as the tutons munitions burst into explosive force and a cough of blood out spurt out of his mouth, painting the inside of his visor with a rich crimson. Never mind, the objective was clear - breaching the last corner wall and coming face to face with the Seraph, there was nothing more to do than what must be done. Rushing in, nearly in complete unison, the Tempest Regiment closed the gap quickly. All this training and experience leading up to a single point, a single exchange, and one that would cost the forces of humanity dearly. It was almost poetically just thought the Sogorat, so much technology and money poored into such a brilliant form, but undone by the most primal of powers, the fists and blades.
The Tuton lay bleeding out on the ground, light having all but faded from his eyes when the sharpened point of the paramedics stimulant pierced his wound. In an almost inhuman fashion, the knight stood up - the experimental drug was a success. Seeing the destruction the Sogorats brought, De Ferson and his Knights pivoted targets, there was no point in rushing for the armory now, it was crawling in all maner of hellspawn and the harsh footfalls of the Tempest Regiment were audible even over the ambient noise. The focus of the knights swapped to crippling the command structure of the MAF that was feeding the orders down from their high vantage point. Stepping out with his faith and his panzerfaust, the second Tutons intention was clear, either himself or the Suryats won't be here soon, time to find out the answer. After exchanging so many volleys the barrel of the panzerfaust was molten hot, and the arms of the tuton buckled under the stress of controlling so much recoil, but through skill and luck, both Suryats were down. No hope for the HRL weilding right hand, he had atomized when the round of the tutons panzerfaust had struck his head. However the hit on the commander was less convincing, he was still alive, but not by much. Sensing the conflict and hearing the exchange of fire, the near by gakis moved closer, leaping around the corner expecting to get an easy target, but with a flash of the knights weapons it was clear that despite the perceived fragility, this was not going to be that simple.
Once again the bloodlusted Gakis and Renegades bolted forward with little regard for their safety, dodging in and out of cover and painting the knights radars with targets, too many, too fast. One of the beasts beserks forward, catching a tuton in it's scyth like hands. Having completely disregarded it's on life there was little to no contest of skill here. The knight would not be able to test his blade in a face to face combat, that would require the beast to have honour. Instead what occoured was a brutal and fast exchange, leaving the Gaki dismembered and riddled with holes, but the knight unconscious. Within seconds another Gaki slammed into the side of a Knight Brother. Konstantinos pivoted quickly and took the creatures head clean off, but not before the reality of the situation was made clear to him, the inside of his suit went warm, then hot, then cold. Up on the high ground the MAF's vanguard paramedic applied his craft to the downed commander, he awoke, bellowed a quick command and reformed his fireteam. At this point the two Sogorat brothers stormed forward once more, but this time the knights had no where to go, De Ferson would need to be the hero once more. After exchanging fire with a Teuton and downing him, both Sogorat, one now beginning to show signs of fatigue rushed the defensive position of the knights, and no sooner had they got to the top of the stairs, the front runners armour powered down with a hiss of protesting artificial muscle as the Veteran commanders hacking programs bit hard into the processors and internal computers.
You would have been forgiven for thinking it was a scene from some holovid, or the machinations of a child with his toys, such was the moment of heroism witnessed by the Knights as their commander simultaneously ran and hacked the suits of the nearest behemoth. Rushing up while the first brother tried to reset the enternal computers De Ferson wasted no time, plunging his blade into the still suit, opening up it's weakspots like a tin can. The second Sogorat was ready however, and the exchange of blows would become legend for the few left to witness it. De Ferson was exhausted, bloodied but so far triumphant. The remaining Sogorat stood to his feet once, this exchange will certainly be the last for one of them.
Witnessing the exchange between the Sogorat and Deferson, the Renegade wished for a piece of the glory. Disregarding his saftey he ran out and made a straight line for the remaining knight fireteam. Through sheer luck and speed of movement, the renegade ran head first through volley after volley of hmg rounds, none finding purchase. However the renegades enhanced chain rifles would absolutely hit their mark. Sending multiple members of the Military Orders to hell. One last charge brought him face to face with the unlucky knight who had previously failed to prevent the onslaught. Blades bit down, and in rapid succession metal and meat fell down, both the renegade and the knight unconscious. Meanwhile, with a final roar the weapons of the remaining Sogorat and De Ferson clashed, resulting in a final exchange, leaving the Morat slumped over, dead.
Gabriel De Ferson turned away, vision blurry and heart pumping, desperate to regain his control over the battlefield. But his undoing would come from the commander of the MAF. In a moment of inattention, two rounds struck the back of De Ferson, and the light left his eyes as he faded into unconsciousness. The remaining Santiago Knight strode forward, this was no longer about the objective but vengeance. He's expert training allowed him to place a round of his combi rifle into the neck of the Suryat and dropping him to the ground once more. However at this point there was no salvaging this mission, both armies where crippled and for now, this skermish was over.

Really nice write up, though I would love to see some pictures of the action!
An excellent detailed report, but I’m afraid that the assessment will bypass it without a photo. And when the photos appear, the post will go far down.
Waiting to rate this until pictures go up; but it’s always a good idea to try to post pictures concurrently to the report, otherwise it will tank your rating.
Ok I will wait for a complete rep
nice battle report
Some more pictures and will be nice report
As Danger Rose mentioned, its best to publish a full report at once. There is nothing really gained by posting early. Some of my reports come in days after the fact. You got something great started here and I look forward to reading completed ones!
pics please

I am eagerly awaiting the completion of this battle report!
Hold off on rating until it’s done please, he’s putting it out paragraph by paragraph in published instead of holding it back, it definitely doesn’t deserve 1 star reviews.
I understand the impulse to post fast, but your batreps would get better rates if you waited until they were finished before posting them.
