Durgama Takeover

After Military Orders’ forces were able to capture territory in the Port Rail Cannon from Tunguska forces, the Neoterran Capitaline Army moved in to secure the area for PanOceania. Corregidor decided to send a correctional force in a counterstrike in an attempt to recapture the lost ground.

Nomads took the initiative and a Moran pushed up the top of the board from left to right, taking out an Auxbot but succumbing to heavy fire from a Peacemaker before they could do any more damage. A haris comprising of a Gecko, a digger, and Jazz pushed up the bottom left of the board, getting into a firefight with a core team of Fusiliers, managing to take out the Fusilier with a missile launcher. Finally, a core fireteam comprised of Lobos and Diablos pushed up the top left of the board to secure a quadrant, taking up cover behind some rocks and walls and taking out a Fugazi bot.

On PanO’s first turn, a Hexa with a spitfire revealed itself and pushed up the top of the board towards the Lobo/Diablo core team, managing to take out two Diablos and clearing the way for a Garuda tacbot to drop in and take out the two Lobos, breaking the fireteam and leaving only one battle-ravaged Diablo left alive. While this occurred, a haris comprised of an Aquila Guard, Shona Carano, and a Bolt KHD began their move up the center corridor, pushing towards the enemy HVT and a Fusilier with a Multi Sniper Rifle took up guard over the firelane that the deceased missile launcher Fusilier was watching.

On the Nomad’s second turn, the Gecko and it’s haris pushed up the board into the midfield, taking out the Fusilier sniper. This cleared the way for the Moran to push up to PanO’s DZ and drop a Koala in the middle of what remained of their core fireteam.

On PanO’s 2nd turn, the Aquila haris pushed up the center corridor, losing the Bolt in a firefight with the Moran. What remained of the Aquila haris pushed into the top left of the board and managed to complete the classified objective “HVT: Identity Check” and clear out another diablo. While this occured, a Mulebot moved, triggering the Koala dropped by the Moran, but managing to dodge. The Fusilier paramedic attempted to revive the unconscious Bolt, but was unable to revive the unit.

On the Nomad’s last turn, the Gecko pushed further up, into the bottom right of the board in an attempt to capture it from PanO. Unfortuneatly, by this point there were very few orders remaining, so the two Salyuts pushed up the center corridor to secure the top left of the board.

On PanO’s final turn, the Aquila and Shona made a last-ditch effort to recapture the bottom right of the board. They crossed through the center room, and Shona managed to dodge her way past the Digger’s first chain rifle attack, and ran through the second to gut the Gecko in close combat, dying in the process. From here the Aquila pushed just far enough back in the bottom right quadrant that he managed to capture it. At the end of the game, both sides held onto their own quadrants, with the deciding factor being PanO completing their classified objective.

*Update* Looking back, it appears as if we miscalculated the score. It looks like no one had any units in the bottom right quadrant so the score should actually be 3-0
