VS Haqqislam
Jem

Ariadna High Command in response to an attack by Haqqislam authorized a mission planetside to provide a distraction to help prevent further Haqqislam incursion in the Starboard Fire Control Module. High Command believed this goal would be successful regardless of mission outcome. The goal of the operation was to recover Ariadna insider assets for the Stavka and deliver O-12 blueprints to an operative implanted in the Haqqislam Engineering team.

Colonel Yevgueni Voronin was given command over the operation due to his position in the Diplomatic Corp, good relationships with O-12, and being a Stavka field agent. Col. Voronin assembled a Tartary Army Corp strikeforce to quickly deploy into enemy lines and retreat before a response could be mustered. To this end the reliable sniper and second in command Vassily Plushenko was added to the team, along with an Irmandinho smuggler to deliver the O-12 plans, and TAK soldiers to provide muscle for the operation.

The operation began to go wrong almost immediately after deployment of forces to the geoscience lecture hall. The Haqqislam response to the operation was quicker than expected with forces appearing almost immediately. Hassassin forces disguised among the campus staff immediately took Col. Voronin out of action, and by the time communications with ground troops was reconnected only three troops were left escaping on two of the bikes that deployed on the operation.

Based on their reports the survivors have provided the Irmandinho successfully completed the O-12 assignment; however, the force was prevented from extracting any of the assets from the area. The mission has been effective in preventing further Haqqislam action in the Fire Control Module, but has likely created a diplomatic incident. Intercepted Haqqislam communications reveal that Vassily and Col. Voronin survived with superior Haqqislam medical care, and are being interrogated. A covert operation to extract the command personnel is required immediately, and if extraction is found to be impossible assassination to prevent information on Stavka operations from leaking will be necessary.

OOC Game Recap

Jem won lieutenant WIP roll and choose to have the first turn.
I chose to have Jem deploy first.
Jem deployed 2 3-man fireteams and 1 refiq in his deployment zone.
The core fireteam was made of Yara Haddad, 1 Ghulam NCO, and 1 Asawira AP Spitfire Lieutenant.
The harris fireteam was made of 1 Ghulam NCO, 1 Ghulam Number 2, and 1 Muyib Tactical Awareness Heavy Rocket Launcher.
Jem deployed 3 Daylami, and one Hidden Deployment Nadir in his dead zone.
Jem deployed 2 Fidays along my deployment edge and reserved 1 rafiq and Al-Djabel by spending a command token.
I reserved Col. Voronin and the antipode assault pack, and deployed everything else in my list in my deployment except for the Beasthunter who deployed next to one of the marker state fidays next to a civilian.
I had a core 3-man fireteam 1 Frontovik AP Sniper, 1 Frontovik Heavy Rocket Launcher, and 1 112 FTO deployed on a building.
I had a Harris 3-man team consisting of 1 Dynamo Spitfire, 1 Dynamo Submachine gun, and 1 112 Motorized deployed next to the building.
Jem Deployed Al-Djabel (Character Fiday) next to my 3-man Core team.
Jem deployed the second remote in his deployment on the right side closest to my camo markers.
I deployed the Col. Voronin next to the 3-man to make it a 4-man and use guard against any cc attack from what I assumed was a regular Fiday.
I deployed the controller and put the peripheral antipodes next to the Fiday on my right side.

Turn 1 Jim
Jem used 2 orders on Al-Djabel to shotgun my entire 4-man Core but was killed in the return fire.
Jem used sensor bot placed on the right to move forward and discover one of the antipodes next to the Fiday on the right, which took 2 orders due to failing the first discover roll.
Jem used a third order to activate and move the bot closer to my camo on the building on the right side of the board, the antipodes used their aro to dodge forward toward the bot revealing, and the bot moved again to get closer to the building.
Jem activated his core fire using NCO to move twice to get near lof to my antipodes, and activated again with the asawira as leader and moved into cover with lof to an antipode and shot.
The antipodes successfully dodged against the Asawira’s shots and used this to move one member into cc with the remote before it could get in sensor range with my spetsnaz.
Another shot at the antipodes from a revealing Daylami allowed them to successfully dodge a second antipode into contact with the Ghulam member of the core fire team.
The core team once again activated with all 3 members pilling into the antipode who responded with close combat against the Asawira leader; however, the asawira proceeded to gut the antipode.
Jem activated the Fiday located on the right side and shot the spitfire dynamo in the back killing it.
Jem activated the Fiday located in the center and attempted to reach the controller on the building in the center with it with the remaining regular orders.
The Fiday traded fire with the controller and was shot on the way in by the beast hunter, and died to the combined fire of both.
The last activation for Jem was the center Daylami firing into the beast hunter from behind killing it.

Turn 1 Marble
I began turn one with an impetuous activation of the dog-warrior on the left side who received a ARO panzerfaust from the 3rd Daylami located on the left side of the board which triggered the dog-warriors transformation.
The Irmandinho followed behind avoiding any LOF following the dog-warrior.
The remaining dynamo used its impetuous order to move forward and avenge the squad leader in a shower of submachine gun fire slaying the Fiday.
The dog-warrior then moved forward and chain rifled the Daylami who returned fire.
The dog-warriors armor succeeded where the Daylami’s failed.
I activated the spetsnaz using a regular order and opened fire on the core fire team, who returned fire along with the center Daylami.
The spetsnaz crit Yara Haddad, and hit both the Asawira and Ghulam, but in turn received a panzerfaust shot from the center Daylami.
The Ghulam and Yara Haddad perished, the Asawira took the hit on his armor, and the spetsnaz was turned into paste.
I used another order in group 2 to activate Vassily to shoot the center Daylami from his rooftop position, executing the center Daylami.
The controllers tactical awareness order was then used to move the two remaining antipodes into close combat with the Rafiq on my side of the board and kill it, however one antipode was lost to aro fire by the asawira.
I used the remaining regular orders in group 1 to have the dog-warrior throw a smoke grenade allowing the Irmandinho to move into contact with the opponents hvt and complete the hidden objective.
The final order was a lieutenant order to re-camouflage, but was prevented by Hidden Deployment Nadhir revealing itself.

Turn 2 Jem
Used a command token to move the Nadhir into group 2.
Using all but one of the group 2 orders Jem kills the last antipode with the Asawira, picks up a civilian, and runs it back to his deployment zone into a safe spot.
The last order was used to activate the nadhir and exchange fire with the Vassily, but lost the exchange while passing the armor save.

Turn 2 Marble
I used 3 of my remaining command tokens to move all remaining group 2 troops into group 1 and convert the warcor’s irregular order into a regular order.
Using the dog-warriors irregular order I threw smoke on the civilian next to it.
Under the smoke cover the remaining regular orders were used to move the dog-warrior into my deployment with the civilian.
The lieutenant order was used to move vassily into a covering position for the dog-warrior.

Turn 3 Jem
The harris team desperately moved to catch up with the escaping dog-warrior barely catching it with a few orders remaining, and killing it with two heavy rocket barrages.
The harris team used one order to land a fatal blow on Vassily.
The last 2 orders were used to activate the Nadhir and move it and score the Hidden objective against my HVT.

Turn 3 Marble
I began the turn in retreat with no way to salvage the situation, so the game ended 5-1.
