A small detatchment of allied Corregidorian is in dire need of food supplies and your transport has enough to share. Crew's has already be notified of this too. A joint session of practice is scheduled to happen in Ammunition Module, to better show each other our worth and instill discipline in our allies. You are then commanded to land in Xiandao and join the rest of the force for the ground operation.

First inclement weather on Huangdi that complicated loading operation, then two days of interstellar voyage with two different circular route, now this diversion. Nothing that a Daofei, like me, would be afraid of. The empty eyes of Jing Qo and apparent calm of her Shaolin. THAT is what you should be afraid of. "A small corregidorian detatchment", ooff... Warbands, mercenaries, nothing that discipline cannot tame. They have the benefit of terrain, but we are temprated by Svalarheima itslef.
This metallic sounds must be the docking mechanism. Are we already there? No one of my comrades uttered a word. Such is the discipline of the men of the StateEmpire. Or is the cold of Huangdi that took over their own hearths?

Unloading operation went well, those Jaguar are tough and fast! The last crate is full of O-12 sanctioned low-stopping-power ammunition. They use it for crowd control and riot suppression: a luxury Imperial Service never understood. But are indeed perfect for mock battles and training. Like those Ariadnans paintball or full-digital ammos of the puny-oceanians. Lock and loaded, time to fight.

Nomads win inititive roll and takes first turn.
He then deploy 5 Jaguars (Core) in high ground and a Haris (Mobile Brigada Lieutenant, Evader AP Spitfire and Jazz FTO) in cover near the center line. He keeps Raveneye Officer for last.
YJ deploy a Haris (Jing Qo, master breacher, and two monks) hidden in the rightside, a camo marker near the HVT (Guilang FO), a Chaiyi Yaokong (Flash pulse bot) in the high ground and Goncheng (Engineer) in the back. The last piece is a camo marker, hiding a Daofei Hacker Lieutenat.

Mission is Firefight with Arsenal (disposable trait is no more) and Master breacher (one model has D-charges and Terrain 0-G. Three classified objectives, Yj were FO/spotlight HVT twice, WIP roll HVT and FO/spotlight terrain. Nomads drew Rescue, Follow Up and HVT:Espionage.

Yj spend a Command token to take out two orders. Nomads the proceed to move haris, the Evader shoots the Flash Pulse bot rendering it Unconscious. Then the jaguar core is broken to let three of them move forward. Around the corner there's a camo, that discovered reveals as a Guilang FO. Jaguar proceed to Chain Rifle the Guilang (killing it) and save the combi ARO. Jaguars then move forward to discover a second camo, but dies from Jing Qo ARO. The remaining Jaguars the retreats to join the others and reform the link. Haris is moved again, Evader take high ground, Jazz hacks HVT for classified. Brigada enter in HVT LOS to complete another classified then proceed to extract +1 ARM from Panoply.

YJ reamaing camo moves forward to Oblivion Jazz, but fails and got killed by Jaguar's Panzerfausts. It was the Daofei hacker Lieutenant. An order is spent on monks, a smoke grenade is launched to get cover from panzerfausts but Shaolin got killed by Evader's Spitfire. Qo advances to shoot Evader and Brigada. Evader dies, Bragada saves,

Brigada and Jazz, now a duo, retreats in a more covered area, Jazz extract a MSV1 from Panoply. Brigada enters Suppressive Fire to cover first panoply, then Raveneye drop a mine at the corner of the building and enters Suppressive fire itself.
Yj is in loss of lieutenant and cannot accomplish any classified anymore (beeing FO and hacker dead). Monk smokes and retreats while Jing Qo receives all converted order and manage to reach the panoply, however she has no order left to open it.

Raveneye moves in to kill Jing Qo, who dodges for dear life. A Jaguar reaches a vantage point and proceed to kill Qo with Panzerfaust. Brigada then move deep to kill Goncheng first and Shaolin right after.

Nomads wins 9-0 with 110 points left, while YJ was completely removed from the area.
Playing first with unlimited panzerfaust and order advantage easied the leverage on YJ mistakes.

"Let's move on, comrades. Child's play is over". I feel no shame. A little, maybe. I completely underestimate the rugged resilience these man are capable of in their own environment. Their in-natural environment. High Command had be wise to commanded us to be garrisoned on ground level: we cannot be anywhere useful up here. This crisis will be long enough to make amends for this minor setback. I hope. Party's whims are unpredictable.
Upon reaching the airlock, i took the last look at those nomads. Good for us they're here. I feel kinda safer, now, knowing they're here doing their part. Those corregidorian have suffered a low blow. They deserve vengeance. And they deserve my respect.
If only I could say that. A light bow and a gesture with the hand is the most I fell comfortable to make.

Descend on surface wasn't unpleasant, the crew did their best. We were ready to land in less than two hours. My body started acting almost by itself, shouting orders, coordinating operation. We've got lots to do before we could reach a shower and a bed. But my thoughts are still in that firefight. Will my man follow me like the killing machine I used to be? Or someone will try to step forward to relieve me? Am I still worthy of their respect? I was lost in these thoughts when the whispers came "If you dare resign, I'll kill you myself". Qo was right behind me. "With all due respect, Lieutenant". Before I had the time to reply she disappeared in the mess of the spaceport. That woman is the scariest thing in Huangdi, my words!
A last look to the sky, "good luck, corregidorians", I thought. I took a deep breath, recompose myself and trying to get back to what I'm the best at: "Move on, icicles! Let's show these "invincibles" what we are made of!"
