Durgama Takeover

Morats have only one thing going on in their heads: war!
So, when an incursion to the Terraforming station at Alfutna was ordered as a diversion measure to consolidate CA´s position at Raveneye, the 162th recon Squad took the mission without hesitation.

The Northern entrance to the facilities was defended by a Nomad party hired by Haqqislam. But little did they know that things were about to get ugly as the CA hunting party had reached their perimeter. So it started. A massacre was about to begin.

The Nomads took the first turn to advance their positions, trying to reach the midfield with caution. But every movement was countered by the evil eye of the EI. One by one, the Überfallkommandos were being smashed by MULTI sniper rifles of the Tarlok Fireteam that didn’t hesitate to bring hell to their opponents. The Kriza Borac came to the aid, but his efforts were no good, as the Tarlok Fireteam had positioned well on the battlefield as was not allowing any synergy between the defenders’ forces. Little by little, all the efforts to converge on the Tech-coffins were being disbanded. The cover fire from the Spektre was no use!!! Everything was being smashed by the Tarlok Fireteam!! By the end of Nomad´s first turn, they were able to reach good positions near the central Tech-coffin, but at a very high price. Almost 50% of their forces were wiped out during the start of the confrontation.

The Morat advance squad took this to their advantage, releasing their Hungers party, which advanced without difficulty across the battlefield. They did a magnificent job. Too magnificent indeed. The Gakis took its toll on the right flank, killing a Cheerkiller and getting into close combat with the Reverend Moira.
Meanwhile, the Pretas took great pleasure firing their chain rifles at the Mobile Brigada team, taking out Mary Problems. As the path has been cleaned, the Dartok advanced, taking the central Tech-coffin and consolidating his position, by getting into cover.

The Nomads try a desperate counter-attack, moving towards their left flank´s Tech-coffin. While being able to capture it, they consolidated their position but lost the Reverend Moira to the Gakis´s explosion. The EI noticed this desperate measure and ordered a final advance to its troops. The Kaitok advanced to deny the enemy´s possession on their Tech-coffin, while the Tarlok FT advanced towards the left flank one, capturing it with the Vanguard FO.

The last turn showed that everything was lost for the Nomads. A final incursion by a heroic Tomcat took down the Rasyat, who was on its way to capture the Nomad´s precious Tech-coffin. But when the holder of the Tech-coffin fell, they knew their mission had failed. There was no other option than escape… those few that could.
