Durgama Takeover

Hidden payoff

A battle between Starco amd Tunguska forces

Intel coming into the Tunguskan headquarters revealed thet several crates of valuable materials
were lying unclaimed in the portside battery near the fire control module. With the chaos all around
Durgama a small company of Tunguskan mercenaries was dispatched to grab the crates. unfortunately
for the Tunguskans a company from Starco had been sent to do the same thing.

While surveying the area, Interventor Traxx noticed the enemy moving in from the other side of the cargo bay.
She quickly informed her lieutenant and the Tunguskans sprang into action.

Turn – 1

A Hollowman armed with a spitfire accompanied by two stempler zond remotes started moving swiftly up to get a good
firing position but came under fire from a Cateran hidden on an upper deck forcing them to take cover.

Perseus and his fireteam of Securitates pushed into the control room laying down a carpet of smoke to allow his team to
get to where they wanted to go. Poking his head round a doorway Perseus then opened up with his breaker combi rifle
and downed a Salyut zond in a hail of buttlets. Tossing out more smoke allowed the Hollowman haris to cross the corridor
unseen and hunker down out of sight.

Scanning through the repeater on zond remote 2, Interventor Traxx fount the Cateran and targeted her.

As the smoke cleared the securitates spotted the enemy advancing on them. Knauf was leading
his fireteam mothodically up the board whilst raining down a hail of gunfire on the securitates in the control room

The members of the securitate team went down one by one to the skilled shooting from the sniper until only
one securitate was left.

Knauf then turned his attention on the zond remotes, crippling number 2.

Turn – 2

With such heavy losses early on the Tungskan’s were in dire need of a miracle.
fortunately they bring the fearless Hollowmen for just such an occasion.
with a never back down attitude and a good position on the flank it was go time.

The targeted cataran was the first to go down, then the Lunokhod.
with short deadly burst from his spitfire he carved a path through the enemy
with one target in mind, Knauf. finally they came face to face across the field.
Taking careful aim, the hollowman hit Knauf twice and driopped him
but didn’t see the missile coming in to his left and he himself fell, halting his deadly spree.

The distraction caused by the Hollowan allowed Raoul Spector to work his way behind the enemy position however and
he burst out of hiding and into action first killing a frontirsman and then engaging the brawlers. one of them went down before the enemy returned fire.

Raoul in cover is a hard nut to crack and despite having the advantage of superior numbers,
they couldn’t take him out.
Feeling like the opportunity granted them by Knauf was coming to an end, Emily and Uhahu
pushed towards the objective in the Tunguskan half of the table.
against all odds the puppetmaster managed to take down Emily and Uhahu managed to bungle both of her repeater shots
due to the withering fire all around her.

Turn – 3

having turned their attention on Raoul spector, the mobile brigada didnt see Fiddler start he advance.
she had been waiting stealthily for the right opportunity to strike and this was it.
Zooming at breakneck speed into towards the now lightly guarded objective.
the Jackbots led the charge and were both destroyed but not before clearing the way for Fiddler to grab the goods and duck out of sight again.

Meanwhile the Tunguskan Lunokhod stopped Uhahu before she could get any closer to do any damage.

Having lost a sizeable chunk of their force the Starco mercenaries were unable to do much more than hunt down Fiddler
but the damage had already been done and the goods were in Tungukan hands.

All in all, it was a very exciting game with a big swing to either side as the losses came in.
Knauf was exceptional but Uhahu and emily were really unlucky with their final push.
