*** Investigation recording log 1*** 4 days after the Durgama campaign***

*** second LT: code “nine-tail” *** now acting commander of KAMINU forces***

Hello, is this thing working? I recovered this from ALEPH after visiting Darpan, it was the commander, or Shogun of Durgama’s recorder… They posted a lot of logs here. In the hopes of getting a lead on the Shogun’s whereabouts, as he vanished days before what is known as the “Durgama Takeover” a moment known in history where CA attempted to conquer Concilium Prima.
The shogun gave special orders to the JSA and left Gekidan leaving me to stay behind to help defenses. He left me a mask he would always carry around him from battle to battle, he said it was for luck but with his track record I would say it was bad luck. Anyhow I will play the Shogun audio log in the hopes I can find his whereabouts.

***Kaminu: shogun of Durgama***

I have given all special orders to JSA units, and left to seek these plans out in the hopes of helping our allies. The first step though was securing deals with ALEPH or to be better put finding answers to the rogue ALEPH commanders still sieging us. I also heard that there was some kind of gas leak on Darpan… perhaps ALEPH would be willing to lend some hazmat suits or the like.

I was greeted by perhaps the strongest ALEPH Aspect on Durgama currently, a subroutine always learning. It took one look and asked for a duel, I gladly accepted, half wishing to beat some form of ALEPH units, and perhaps I could learn a thing or two

The Aleph subroutine won the LT roll and took to go second, as such I chose to deploy first, in a attempt to effect the ALEPH deployment.

The JSA troops lacked a lot of cover so I squeezed yojimbo and the Aragoto biker in the right most corner and the fireteam core(keisotsu paramedic+domaru spitfire, daiyokai, oyama, and a kempei COC. while the Miyamoto fire team took cover. And a ryuken 9 to watch the sides of the Panic room.

Turn 1: JSA

The aragato and Yojimbo pushed up with their impetus orders, while 2 shots from the Ryuken nine would fail to eliminate a pesky TR HMG on the cliff side, I forfeited a command token just to get the aragoto into a position to hold a corner. I would use yojimbo to smoke out the TR bot for the firteam on the half. While the Domaru and keisotsu paramedic would get closer to the TR bot, however the Domaru would find success in eliminating the TR bot at the lost of the fire team. I attempted to get Yojimbo onto the point but failed to do a proper smoke coverage before as such losing him to a (Acmon?).

Miyamoto would charge up against the objective room with the Tanko while the firetam core would cover up the leftside.

Turn 1: Aleph

The Left side was heavily covered so the Subroutine would use the Firteam of Myrmidons to march up smoking every position being overly frightened by a successful infiltration on top of a roof. They eventually made it to the building and put up defenses. While attempting to chain rifle Miyamoto, and a tanko. Thankfully both tanko’s dogged while miyamoto had to make a save. The myrmidons were locked in CC and miyamoto would take more proper cover. Then one Tanko would fall to a myrmidon.

Hector would appear and take suppresive fire with a myrmidon.

Turn 2: JSA

The aragoto biker would spend its impetus and another order to charge into the room shotgun avenging the tanko and eliminating the suppressive myrmidon, although it would be hector’s suppresive fire to eliminate the biker.

The core fireteam would move up allowing the daiyokai to find a angle on the myrmidon officer and hector. Hector went for the tasty Domaru spitfire as its target allowing the Daiyoki uncontested shots, sadly the Daiyoki would fail all shots, thus making the Domaru sacrifice for naught. Now the cameo token would move up finding a good positon to shoot the officer in the back although it took a second engagement the oniwaban would succeed in killing its foe. It would then be brought up to cameo and would rush to engage hector forcing him to drop suppressive. In a solid attempt to kill him hector would save against the monofilament blade. The fireteam desperate to get into the room would lose cover to get close. While Miyamoto would help its tanko friend into cc combat.

Turn 2: Aleph

Ajax and his haris team would smoke themselves from any ARO allowing them to assist Hector in his CC combat, shamefully Ajax’s hammer would flatten the oniwaban like a pancake. Then Hector would reunite with the fireteam and push up to the objective room eliminating everyone but the ryuken 9, and warcor. At the cost of a single myrmidon.

From here I understood I was beaten. Ryuken did not have enough orders to reach the objective in LOL, nor did I believe he could eliminate Hector and Ajax.

For what it was worth, ALEPH is tough but I would be happy that Miyamoto Haris could teach those myrmidon’s some Bushido code before Hector and Ajax came in.

After the match up the Subroutine gladly spoke about tactics and flaws in my maneuvering of troops that I hope to use in the future. I hope this would show that there is good will between ALEPH and JSA despite recent events, they even agreed to give JSA hazmat suits for their upcoming battles… something about infected Durians….
