"Its looking at me again" said Ehryat, the massive Kaitok armor giving his voice a cutting edge.
"Of course" said the Kurgat next to him as he checked his weapons and kit again. "its a Medchaniod, thing is nothing BUT eyes."
"That ones different. Its been a bit off since we landed. I think we got a defective one"
They watched the med-tech continue patiently emptying its medical supply stores and replacing them with ammunition. "What makes you say that?" said the Kurgat.
"Looks like a proper Morat to me."

-----------

I won the leadership roll and elected to go first. I deployed my Morat core hard to the left. This consisted of a Suryat HMG, Kornak, an Kurgat with drop bears and two Kaitoks, one with a Feuerbach and one with a chain rifles. On the right flank I put a harris consisting of a Yaogat Spitfire, a Kaitok chain rifle, and Trietak Anyat. I kept an Ikadron on the flank, with a lone Gaki in the center.

The JSA deployed a Keisotsu core with dual missile launchers in the center tower. A Husong total reaction bot went in the tower next to them. Behind the center tower a harris consisting of a Domaru, a Tanko, and a Daiyokai lurked. A Shikami went in a forward tower, and something which was likely a Ryuken went on the back deployment zone, looking for Rasyats.

On my first turn, tossed smoke with a daturazi and then walked my Feurerbach Kaitok up and engaged the Keisotsu missile launcher. In a bone-headed play that likely cost me the game, I also moved the suryat up close enough that he was killed by the resulting explosion, even though the Kaitok won the fight. A few more orders took down the other missile launcher too.
I then switched to the harris. They moved up under clouds of smoke, out of sight of the TR bot. The Yaogat easily cut the unfortunate bot down from the cover of smoke. That Kaitok pulled out +4 armor from the panoply (making him armor 9), and Anyat pulled grenades.
Then the JSA heavy harris surged forth, cutting down the Yaogat, then attacking the Kaitok with EM weapons until he fell before finishing by taking out Anyat.

For my counterattack I was faced with moving a core up faced with one or two likely hidden deployed models and a camo marker which was almost assuredly a heavy rocket launcher. I got to work moving the core team up field under cover of smoke, but was ultimately wasted orders trying to get a position where I could get an advantage and ultimately lost the Feuerbach to ARO fire. Frustrated by my planning, I moved Dr Worm over and took a shot at the Domoru who dodged out of the way.
The JSA them went on the offensive, revealing an Oniwaban who cut down the last Kaitok. The Harris activated and moved up under withering counterfire from Dr Worm as well as spare shots from the surviving Morats. As they pushed towards the objective the Tanko was cut down and each of the remaining heavy infantry lost a wound. The Daiokais swords lashed out again and again but was only able to put a single wound on the resilent A2C.

At the top of my third turn is when the real carnage began. Dr Worm activated, moving up to mow down the Domaru mercilessly. He activated again and empties a full clip into the towering Daoikai who collapsed at the base of the A2C. Moving again he sent shots downfield and the Oniwaban who also fell beneath the Med-Tech's wormy wrath. With the rest of the order pool he slithered across the length of the table, into base with the enemy's A2C, and with the last order he failed to plan the D-Charges.
Still, our favorite doctor accounted for 6 wounds on a 7 wound Harris and a Ninja and nearly won the game for me. I count it as a moral victory and a Hippocratic Oath failure.

Dr Worm is a Stone Cold Killa

The last action of the game saw the Shikami run gracefully down the side of the buidling he was perched on. He danced past the remaining Morats, evading all incoming fire. Finally making it to the A2C, he triggered the security systems and was immediately stunned. In the coda, a ninja appeared at midfield and executed a morat to earn a final classified.
