VS Nomads
General Santiago

"Alright we have been asked to do a training exercise with the Nomads over in the port battery, while they say its to help with cooperation they are likely wanting to use it as an excuse to claim we are not fit to hold the starboard battery.

So if I catch any of you not putting in full effort just because we are 'training' you can guarantee that I am putting you on Antipode duty for a month."

I won the WIP roll so I chose to let my opponent take the first turn, he obviously forced me to deploy first. We also realised part way through the first turn we should turn the grid off, both us were using the TTS module for the first time.

His first action was to move a Reaktion Zond to take a potshot at my Frontovik HRL but he gets brought down by the ARO fire. (We are currently trying to uncurse his dice rolling, any witch doctors for hire out there?)

HRL vs HMG

Due to the rest of my stuff being out of LOS, and possibly not wanting to duel the HRL again, he opts to move his units about including with a coordinated order and prepare for my turn. This includes putting his other Reaktion Zond on a rooftop to cover a movement lane.

My turn started with the good old Impetuous phase with my left Irmandinho (HMG) charging forward and failing to throw out smoke so the Reaktion Zond takes him down in a hail of bullets. On my other flank the second Irmandinho (EXP CCW) moves up a bit and them throws his own smoke so he doesn't walk into a bunch of AROs. The Dog-Warrior then tries to do the same but his smoke roll of a 1 is handily beaten and he takes a wound, transforming him and in his rage he runs at the Kriza Borac to try and engage him but he dodges away and he takes another wound for his trouble.

With his second attempt he engages the Kriza and lets my Harris team start to move up. They trade fire with the Mobile Brigada but tesseum rounds prove to be far better than his armour and this takes him out. Finally I finish moving the Irmandinho up and drag my Core team up a bit to make sure I dominate the other ZO.

My opponents turn 2 starts with him bringing in a Tomcat Engineer from AD, then moving up and attempting to torch my link team. However only the doctor actually gets hit and goes unconscious.

With that attempt not having worked out as well as hoped he moved to the Kriza Borac and tried to fight off my Dog-Warrior, unfortunately after a few orders of them bouncing off each other the dog's AP CCW finally got through and put the Kriza unconscious. However he had a Tomcat doctor in AD so he brought it down and used the medikit to pick the Kirza back up.

After this he took a pop at one of my link members with an Alguacil and took out my Line Kazak (GL), then spends his last orders moving things into position for my incoming turn.

My Impetuous phase started with the Dog-Warrior bringing the Kriza down again and my Irmandinho cancelling his order so he didn't have to try and dodge a missile launcher. Pavel proceeds to finally move up the middle a bit and takes out the Reaktion Zond however on his next move he is taken down by a shot from an Alguacil after dealing a wound to the Mobile Brigada ML. Next I had my Harris team push up and after a few orders of movement and trading shots brought the Mobile Brigada ML down with their tesseum bullets. Then I have my core link shift back into a more condensed group and Voronin brings down the Tomcat on his next order with his shotgun.

(Unfortunately I have no more images from here, after dealing with steam connection issues and getting back to playing I forgot to take further ones properly, I was taking them but they weren't being saved).

My Line Kazak Paramedic attempts to heal the doctor however he instead increases his friendly kill count. At this point I do move the Irmandinho up however in his attempts to take out a pair of Alguacils they both dodge and a shot from the Tomcat kills him with a crit. The Dog-Warrior now moves up a bit and takes out the pair of Alguacils. Finally I bring in my Spetsnaz from AD and finish moving a few units in for domination purposes.

My opponents third turn has him taking out my Dog-Warrior with his Grenzer and his doctor trying to pick up the Kriza again but instead finishes him off. So my opponent now shifts his units to best prepare for my final turn due to a rather thin order pool to be able to go on the offensive with.

My third turn sees the Spetsnaz moving up to try and reach my objective for Sabotage and while he brings down the Tomcat with his shotgun a long range combi-rifle shot knocks him unconscious, so I have to have my Frontovik paramedic move up and wake him. Now that he is up my Spetsnaz finishes his push to the objective and plants his D-charge so that I can detonate it and claim my classified so at this point I just waste my final orders and we end the game at 8-1 to me.

(This was a good game and one where my opponent made pretty much all the right choices but his dice were just incredibly unlucky.
