Declaration of Toth supervisor to Oberhaus, Concilium Prima

Dear Senators, citizens of the human sphère

By participating in the creation of the international defense force of Concilium, the O12 has once again shown its desire to preserve the human sphere in its entirety. During this first week, I supported our allies everywhere on the territory of Durgama, countered attempts at sabotage by factions which unfortunately did not share the interests of the common good. I faced, in the very first hours of the assault, the ferocity and inhumanity of the Combined army. From this intense weeks of combat I retain two things: the righteousness and the honor of the true defenders of the sphere, who did not hesitate to sacrifice everything for the survival of humanity. The second is the feeling of a huge mess, of a part of humanity that will not be ready to break away from these greedy little interests, and will drag us all down with it. To those I would say these few words:

What happened on Paradiso was a warning: unite or you will be defeated. We did not listen and now we are here: the democratic heart of the sphere, the one that irrigates all humanity is under attack. But it is also our values of unity, progress and all the efforts made by the women and men of the sphere to move towards a united humanity that are threatened. And soon Bourak, Yutang, Shentang, just like Corregidor. The Tohaa have already lost access to their world and find themselves lost and unattached in a war that does not concern them. No one is immune, it would be madness to believe that, and we refuse to listen to the lessons of the past.

I will continue to fight as long as we have the strength left to do so. And if the O12 has to face these threats with the few allies we have, we will. History will remember that against all odds we resisted, where others helped to dig our grave.

[Toht Sup] The Haqquislamite high command is chasing our scientists, calling them terrorists. They fabricate groundless plots from scratch and divide our efforts to restore a stable situation in the defense of the planet. We have already lost part of Raveneye, while the projections of Aleph had ruled out this option if we had remained united...

[HECTOR, SSA Operative] However, we have already worked with Haqquislam, they are reliable partners. They fought hard on Paradiso and suffered heavy losses.

[Toht Sup] Obviously not enough... We are not talking about Bourak or Paradiso, but about our planet. I will not allow it to fall. We will have to put an end to their double games on the planet, and it will start at Zebu station. A commando from the Hassassin Barham is currently penetrating the area around Zebu station. They surely want to seize the confidential elements held in laboratory 23. They must not get their hands on the researchers, nor any elements inside the building. The biological defense system of the laboratory is deployed, but they are visibly prepared for it. We're going to need a better answer. Deploy your combat group, you have carte blanche.

So first game on Zebu (finally I reach this location ahah). I play Starmada, and a variation of my list deploy on Raveneye. All in team except raveneye and the Varangian. In the other hand I have Hector Lt, Betatrooper specialiste op, Parvati, Psicop hacker and Epsilon HMG. My Haris is composed of two Nyokia HRL and an Epsilon sniper multi.
My opponent play two Asawira (who can't just died on this mission with actual bonus...), Leila, and a core of Muyib. With that we have an hidden threat, various Muttha, flash pulse drone and Barid Hacker.

I win the Lt roll and choose to play first. I deploy first in the red side of the table. We play on the standard map of TTS.
I deploy my Haris near the big building to take a precious defensive position. In the other flanc I put my fireteam with the Varangian behind to use smoke.

My opponant deploy in front of my haris his own of Asawira. In the middle we found the Muttha, drone and Barid. In the other flank we found the Core, with HRL in overwatch on the roof of the building.

Ok it's time to roll some dice and defend lab 23 and his secrets.

Starmada T1 :

[HECTOR, SSA Operative] Ok team, Lt speaking. We must repel this offensive. Alpha Security Team, take position on the annex building to support us from above.

[CAP.DELANGO] Copy sir. Ok Alpha team, with my, prepare your climbing cables we go up !

Ok first turn, and the objective is simple, lead my team to a safe place. I used a coordinate odrer to move the Varangian and raveneye in position, at the limit of the Biotechvore area. Then the fireteam core move in a more safer position. The Haris begin his move to go near the annex.

The Muyib HRL lock the way. My HMG move in shoot position, and take an opposition against the Hassassin. He fall unconscious.

I still remaining 5 order so the alpha team begin his ascension. They arrived on the roof and the Nyokia HRL take an opposition against the other Muyib, prone on the roof. Without cover, the Hassassin have no chance, and die.

The with the last Haris order, the other Nyokhia take a shoot on Leila, who did'nt go prone. Here again, she fail her dodge and die. A good first turn, I reduce order of my opponent and my Haris take a decisive position. Hassassin are under pressure !

Hassassin Barham T1 :

The first action of the Hassassin is to hide they're action behind a wall of smoke. The Muttha protect the patch of the muyib (who are under LOF of the Nyokia HRL... Now they're free ahah.

He activated the Asawira duo, take an opposition against the Nyokia HRL, crit him, and he fall unconscious.

Then the muyib take a defensive position near the principal building of Lab 23. With a coordinate order, the drone and the Barid take a defensive position for the next turn.

The end of the turn arrived, an the truth appear : the lab 23 is not safe to the biotechvore threat ! All the Muyib are in zone... The Muyib doctor inhale the toxic gas and fall unconscious, like the near Muttha. It seem that legendary Hazmat suit of Haqquislam have some malfunction.

Starmada T2 :

[HECTOR, SSA Operative] We have the momentum, don't let them recover, intensified the assault !

Ok begin of the turn 2, and like a wise man said "I have the high ground". I must deal with the jammer and the indestructible Asawira, but I have the advantage of orders. Ok my epsilon activated and try a recon of enemies forces, but he failed (net undermine). Then he take an opposition with the Asawira spit, hit him twice, but the HI losse only one wound. The elite troop of Haqquislam take a total covert. My HMG epsilon go out covert (I fell there is a "surprise in the last slot of my opponent G2). Miracle, a wild Nadhir appear and try to take an opposition against my epsilon. Bad day for him, because the elite of Starmada pull the trigger more faster, and the Hassassin take 5 hits, and die.

Then on the other flank the remaining Nyokia shoot against Muttah Jammer, who made a nice crit on his dodge smoke. But the drone near him, hit by the blast don't have this chance, burn and explode. The HMG have now path clear move near the Muyib spitfire, inflict one wound, and the hassassin go dogged. With the remaining order the fireteam core take a defensive position. Finally a coordinate order allow Nyokia to move and kill the remaining Muttha. In the same way epsilon and raveneye take a defensive position for the counter attack of the hassassin Barahm.

Hassassin Barham T2 :

My opponent feels the trap closing in on him. The Muttah near the Lab 23 move on the roof after smoking the way to prevent my Niokya to shoot on his Lt. He take an opposition with Varangian, but the mercenary success on his dodge. My Epsilon HMG shoot him, and the Haqquislamite go dogged.
His Muyib Lt activated himself and take opposition against my epsilon. Unfortunately he didn't manage to avoid the hassassin shot and fall unconscious.

Then the Asawira moved, and take shoot against the second Nyokia. Here again the Nyokia fall unconscious. Alpha team is wounded but the time they gain is precious. The last Muttha move and take a visual on the Raveneye. Suprised the Starmada officier shot him with E/Marat, and take in opposition a chain rifle hit. He fall unconscious (strategically mistake here... That will cost me later).

The biotechvore hit again, and the muyib Lt, last unit in the toxic smoke fail his roll. Ok for my opponent it will be very hard to win this game.

Starmada T3 :

[HECTOR, SSA Operative] Ok the place is secured, they are desorganized. It's time to save and stabilized ou troop. Pay attention to the last enemis operatives !

Ok I'm here to gain some point. So this turn is only for classified ! The Epsilon sniper move and sucess his wip roll on net undermine (bravo !). The he goes next the Nyokia HRL and casevac him for the rescue mission (and in the half part of my opponent, 2 more point).

Parvati move and heal the Espilon HMG. Then she try to do the same with the Raveneye, but his wound are too important and he died in the process...

My Epsilon HMG control the HVT, the betatrooper take a defensive position to prevent a suicid run of the Asawira. Victory is near.

Hassassin Barham T3 :

My opponent is in loss of Lt, with 3 order and one command token. He flip the Barid order to activated the duo, and the Asawira doctor do Net undermine. The Asawira spit move to control my HVT, but is his too far (1 inche). But he take opposition with the betatrooper and he take two wound.

My poor robot (and his precious point) are lost... With is last order the Muttha move near my HVT and prevent my Epsilon to control his own. Result : 9 -2 for Starmada, the Lab 23 is now secured !

A cool game, with a very sympathy opponent. Problem of zone management for my opponent which puts him in the T1 trouble. Once my Haris in place, hard for him to move to get things in front, without taking difficult oppositions. And Asawira are very very difficult to kill in this mission.

[Toht Sup] Good job on Zebu Commander. I hope this warning will serve as a lesson to them, but I doubt it. This war is dramatic, it turns former allies against each other. Perhaps this is the worst harm the Combined Army does to us: it brings out the worst in all of us.

[HECTOR, SSA Operative] Oh, the worst doesn't always come from outside, often it's already there, lurking in the shadows, just waiting for the first opportunity to overwhelm us.

[Toht Sup] As we wait for victory before our demons overwhelm us, or we permanently lose what our fight is about: unity and progress for all of humanity.
